Yul, felling rejuvenated to the core, turned slowly around to the young g_rl sho had, so timidly, yet sweetly, followed him out. He felt no shame in his ritual, not since the days of which he used to fear it was a weakness. He was immortal now, nothing could kill him, and now, his ritual was merely a form of cleaning, open up his eyes, or 'eye', for that matter, to the day, or the night. If Yul neglected to renew himself, he'd only be weakening his own ability to function, but no matter how drained he became, Yul wasn't going to die. Just... cease to function... perhaps.
He'd never tested that theory, and nor did he care to.
"Hello there, Rikku-chan." Yul said, smiling at her as he stood up, stretching his shoulders casually, and trying to act naturally. As far as he could tell, the little rose-head wasn't too curious over what he'd just been doing. And whilst Yul wasn't going to become protective over it, it wasn't as though he was going to draw unecessary attention to his... unique habits. "What are you doing out here?"

She's acting very unusual... Haru thought as he was gazing at her. I wonder if my absence has been a problem, she sure is acting weird.... Haru sighed seeing her bow before him. He didn't know what to do but she was acting foolish, it almost felt like she was mocking him in a way but Shinobu was always like this to him, he didn't know why but it was slightly depressing to watch. "Shinobu, you do not need to bow to me at all." He said to her. He put his hand on her shoulder. "You look a bit flushed, maybe you could use a rest." Haru said to her.

Nia kept swinging horrors and fantasies at Suki, her eyes focused, her mind totally set on him. She felt him go down, he slowly sank to the ground, like a tree that had stand on the same place for centuries, but suddenly decided it was enough. A rush of victory filled Nia for a second, but just for a second, she knew she had won, but what kind of victory was it? She had picked on the weakest most vulnerable target. She looked around and felt like she was smacked in the face; all her warriors had been slain. Six thieves stood in front of her, Hamani frowning, ready to attack, but apparently waiting for her response. Taketo and Tomoyo, both were looking neutral, ready to attack, but ready to reason as well. Then Kosho was there, she had suddenly appeared on the field of battle, Nia wasn’t sure if she knew what this was about, but she didn’t seem to. Tomi had suddenly entered the battle as well, Nia knew he didn’t care what or who they were fighting as long as he got to kill. And lastly Tao was there, awaiting her reaction, like the others.
She looked around; all her warriors were indeed dead, as were all the shadow ninjas. Nothing had really changed, no rock was moved, no branch was broken and no leave had fallen. But the place seemed different, more dangerous. Nia knew she couldn’t wait much longer, sooner or later one of them would run out of patience and attack. She cleared her throat. “Well… I see you have come at last.” She turned to Hamani and continued, “You want the doll, just because it does not belong to me? Since when do we care for what is ours and what is not? Have we suddenly decided stealing is not morally correct? Or is there no ‘we’ Hamani? Are you not one of us? You claim to be our leader, our creator even, but what have we seen that proves this? Yes, your powers are not to be underestimated, you are indeed a strong opponent. But does that make you our leader? And if you are indeed our leader, where have you been all that time, hiding away in the shadows, letting us parish in our own ideas and visions of what is right and what is wrong, only to come out now, when you deem it right, to slap us on the fingers and tell us to stop stealing.” A great anger came up inside her as she turned to her fellow thieves, “And you my fellow thieves, what makes you follow this woman, listen to her, and even hunt me down one of your own. Yes, we might not be all that close to each other, we might not be friends or allies, but if we are not on the same side, who is? If we do not aid each other, who will? I do not ask for your help, I do not need it, but ask yourself this: why are you following her? I need no answer, I need no explanation, just think it over for yourself. Maybe for Tao it is easy, he might know things about her the rest of us doesn’t, but what about you Tomoyo what brought you here? Look at Suki, lying on the ground behind you, exhausted and battered, what brought him here except for a great admiration of his brother? I did not want to attack him, but you left me no choice, those who challenge must be prepared to take the consequences of their actions.” Nia stopped, her body perfectly still, only her eyes moving, slowly they went from one thief to another, looking deep into their eyes, penetrating them with her eyes.
“Thieves” she continued “Thieves, were we always thieves? Or were we honest people once, and if so what is honest? If honest is not stealing then why did we do it, what made us train ourselves, train ourselves till we were all skilled in the art of thievery? This is the question that must be answered, the doll you say must be returned, returned to who? To Melora? Then why is she not here to claim it? And why would Hamani have the right to come claim it. And what makes Melora different from the thousands of other people who we have stolen from. She is immortal you say, but does that make her one of us? She doesn’t want to be one of us, and she doesn’t behave like one of us. If you still want to come claim the doll that is your own choice, don’t expect me to give it. And Hamani, even if you would be able to take my immortality, to make me a mere mortal that will die by the touch of the sword, I say to you; go ahead, long enough have I walked the face of this earth, long enough have I been locked inside my body, not able to use my mental abilities to the full. Kill me I tell you! And it would be the biggest gift you could possibly give me.” Nia’s eyes were stripes now, sparkling, firing, and glaring from thief to thief, ready to evade a possible attack. They outnumbered her greatly, they would win easily. She slid the ring of her finger and inside her hand, ready to make a final move, a move that would mean the end of the ring, the end of the whole altar maybe. It might be a futile attempt, a waist of a powerful artifact, but she felt she had to try. She wanted to try, she wanted to see it, to see the ring explode, the air darken and stir, the ground trembling and the air heating. It would be something the world had never seen, it would be more then immortality, it would be the resurrection of a legend…..

"Ah..."
Shinobu's face glew red and she jumped out of her skin at Haru's touch. Like 1000x volatge straight to the heart.
"Uhm... no, I'm fine, I rested a lot just recently, I'm replenished now, meaning, I uh, feel much better now and don't need anymore rest. Of course, if you want me to go rest, like if I were bothering you or something and you wanted me to leave you alone-" Shinobu's heart drooped. "-then I would most certainly understand and I would go sit down somewhere and take said rest and leave you alone. Oh... Am I talking too much?"
Shinobu could hardly keep her voice down now, it was cracking under the pressure, her heart rising into her throat.
"I'm sorry if I'm being annoying." she said, hoping, praying that she wasn't, but, by the expression on Haru's face, certainly not being a pleasant one, she had to doubt if she wasn't.

[IMPORTANT;
Alright guys, I’ve just received word that Mary’s got a pretty bad thing going on at home right now, and not only if she not available on the phone, but she isn’t on the computer anymore either. Apparently her mom got really mad at her for something, I don’t know what, but now she’d serious banned, and this could be until after Christmas, so, as not to hold up her roleplays, me and Ashintuku are going to pick up the slack for her. In the ‘Immortal Thief Roleplay’, Ashintuku is now going to be playing aoki, and in ‘Cartoon Heroes’ I’m going to be playing Sora. I know it’s a bit odd, but it won’t be permanent, as soon as Tsubie’s back, we’ll get her back her roles, this is just so that our two strongest roleplays don’t die because of the lack of such a vital character. In any case, me and Ashin are up to it, so it’s not a really big deal, and, I just want you all not to be shocked when you see us playing her charries.
That’s all.]

"Shinobu..." Haru said to her. He turned away from her. "Is it just me or are you treating me different?" Haru asked her a bit curiously. "It is no disrespect to you but I would rather know why you do so because I don't need sympathy from anyone." Haru said completely misreading her. Because Haru was so quiet and barely interacted with anyone, he felt as though Shinobu was merely babying him. Haru turned his head towards Shinobu. "You are not being annoying, I just want-" Haru said but then paused and stopped himself. What am I trying to get at? This is why I dislike talking so much...

[Whoo, if only you replied more often, Beanie, you'd be a shoe-in for RPer of the year.]
Hamani felt the accusations fired not only at herself, but at those standing around her and bore everyone of htem, giving Nia atleast the privelege to finish what she was saying, to be able to speak, anyone deserved that right. And, once she'd finished, the forest blew through silence for several second, no one sure of what to say, but Hamani was now certain if was her to speak, and she wouldn't waste it, she'd been waiting too long for this.
Breaking the silence haunting through the trees, a smackin noise began, from a mid area of Hamani. She was clapping her hands, 3, 4 times beofre smiling confidently at her fellow thieves, even Nia. "That was, truly, a refreshing speech, enlightening as well, and also, in many ways, irritating, but, no less, a relevant bunch of words that cannot be denied. In no way am I justified for me to go after your for thievery, nor is that my intention, little Nia."
Hamani dissppeared for a moment, only to re-appear behind the purple-locked woman. "Nia..." she whispered slowly, drawing a fingernail along her cheek, ready, just in case, if Nia were to attack. "Stealing things is allways wrong, you must understand this, the way I stole from the gods, the way you lot steal lived away from other, the way I steal your thoughts, memories and freedoms, the way you steal on your missions, the way you steal small material possesions, the way a moment is stolen, the way an entire lifetime can be stolen in a matter of seconds, in some half-wit thoughtless action. And the way you stole Melora's doll, it's all wrong. But... If you haven't already guessed, I'm not here to be a saint, to right the wrongs here, in fact, I wuite enjoy taking what is not yours. I am only here to continue on the tradition, and to steal back what is stolen."
Daintily, Hamani's pale fingers wrapped slowly around the rabbit-dolls head, sensing it's powers, she felt youthful, energized, and enticed. So close to her goal, and perhaps much more.
"Open up your mind, Nia... let me in..."
And, like a swift breath, Hamani ejected her mind into Na's, leaving her body frozen stiff, still clutching the young woman, one hand wrapped around the doll, one around the shoulders of Nia.
I'm your leader Nia, I made you as you are, and whether such be a curse or a blessing, I created you, and I am your greater. I want you to steal from everyone, the inn_cent and the poor, the sickly and the young, the stupid and the wounded, the elderly and the saints, even your fellow thieves, steal everything your fingers can grasp, take it, pocket it, keep it for your own. Ingore their pleas, shun them, mock them, hurt them, k_ll them. Do as you please. I shall humour it. But there is one thing that you must never do.
And that is to disobey my orders. I'm very serious Nia, I don't have power over all, not in the least, but you twnty-four are my belongings, I stole you, and you can't become re-possed, not so long as your memories are mine, and that shall be forever. I want you to realise my power, and that you cannot thwart me. I am your mother, your father, your god. Your creator.
Now release the doll. I wish to take it away now.

Shinobu gulped, seeing his face so close to hers. Well... not close, but certainly the closest her wounded mind could remember, she'd watched him many a time from afar, and spoken berifly to Haru, but never this, she could hardly think straight. Wait, was he... asking her more questions.
"Uhm... treating you, differently?" She flushed once more. "As in... badly? I'm so sorry... I meant no offence... I understand that lately you've been... distnace and uhm..." she coughed. "..solitary, but you're often that way... sitting alone... eating alone... not that I know your schedule or-"
She bit her toungue. Damnit g_rl!! Think straight, think straight."
Sleeping alone.
Inwards smack.
"Uhm! Uhm! Are you okay? earlier I saw you and you were hurt, and I was so worried, but then I had to go, Izumo was hurt too, and you were off then, being taken care of, and I didn't get to see you, and I was dreadfully worried. You're not angry at me for helping Izumo? Oh now, how could you be? You were unconcious... you didn't even know until I told you just now, and that was dumb of me. But you're okay now right? You don't look great, but better than you did in that terrifying scene out back."
Shinobu wanted to continue, but watching Haru's confused look at her was just too much. His amber eyes shone so beautifully at her, having never, in her memory, been pointed directly at her before, and his violet locks falling over his shoulders, light and fluffy, almost as though they were floating. He was so beautiful, and so close to her, Shinobu's mind was having difficulty not sweeping away from reality at this point.

{I've been silent for far too long!} He sighed as he took in a deep breath of the fresh air outside; the scent of rain still heavy.
He looked back to see Yul and Rikku sitting outside, talking pleasantly, and smiled a little at them, looking away. Pleasantries; aquantices; friends. Such nice things; such valued people. Things and people Fai didn't have any of; though he pretended to. He was always smiling; always making jokes. Things that people knew him by. He annoyed others because he was bored and wanted to see their reactions; Kuro had to be the most fun from all of the thieves, though sometimes he tried to annoy the more quiet members, like Kosho, or even Shinobu. Once in a while he'd tease the younglings, playing along with their games and laughing with them. A hallow sound to his ears now, thinking over how...FAKE, he sounded.
He stiffened as he felt a great power surge from the forest; unconsciously shuddered and went into a defensive stance. The blonde haired ninja looked at the dark, omnious forest for a long time, wondering if he should try to join the fighting in there. He then shook his head, deciding against it.
He felt as if it were life changing; and he didn't need to get into a deeper pile of worries than he was already in. Wallowing in his self pity was good enough for him. And Fai though, turning away from the forest, that that was good enough for him.
Tomi watched the interaction, his eyes narrowed as he bared his teeth, listening to Nia speech and then to Hamani's. They spoke much too much; this was starting to bore him. he HATED how boring everything was. He wanted to have entertainment; bl00d dripping from his hands, a life lost. Something...ANYTHING...
He would take anything, as long as his quench for death was filled.
Though...That was impossible. Tomi had an everlasting hunger for death, bl00dshed and pain; it had always been this way. He was certain, whenever he had a sane thought, that he had once been a good child; maybe a kind child. But something must've changed to make him so twisted...
Not like he exactly minded; having this twisted head let him get away with lots of things.
He turned to look at Tomoyo with wide eyes, his smile still playing on his face. "Why do you stand in front of me? Hasn't anyone told you...How DANGEROUS that is, small one?"

Now release the doll. I wish to take it away now….. Now release the doll. I wish to take it away now….. Now release the doll. I wish to take it away now
The words kept playing through her head, over and over, sometimes loud sometimes far away, as a voice that echoes down a put. She felt her fingers loosen, there grip on the body of the doll slip away. She wanted to let go, she wanted to be free of the obligation of carrying it around. But as she was to open her hand another part of Hamani’s words popped up; But you twenty-four are my belongings. Nia’s mind cleared, she tightened her grip again as the words drove out the previous ones.
I am not yours, and I will never be. For only a mindless drone can belong to someone, be possessed. Even slaves are free, and I am not even that. You contradict yourself in your words, you claim to have created me, and at the same time to have stolen me. Even if you were the one that made me immortal, you still did not create me in my present form, I did. I formed my opinion upon things, I developed my skills and increased my knowledge, I decided which path to go. The only thing you added was immortality and time, and I thank you for neither, I would rather never have been born than to have to life on like a rock, a thing that is always there but that does not change, that sees the world change but does not care. And if all you came to do is steal back what was stolen than you have only proven one thing; you are a lousy thief.
As the last words were formed Nia cut lose the connection. It was easier then she expected, not a mind-link but just basic telepathy had Hamani used. Was this because she did not want to show too much hostility or thought that Nia would do as she was told. Or could she simply not do better? The last thought vanished from Nia’s mind immediately; it was not that. Although she did not believe everything Hamani said she knew that her mental abilities were strong.
She took a step back, so that there was some room between her and Hamani again. Her expression hadn’t changed and neither had Hamani’s. Nia couldn’t even tell if the others had realized what was going on. Again the thought came to use the ring, to feel its power flow. But it was too soon, perhaps there was another solution. She should not run into hasty decisions.

Life emerging back into Hamanis body, twitching back into reality, she had been expelled, which was only to be expect from such a mentally powerful thief, but it wasn't going to thrwo her off of her target, unphased, Hamani continued.
"Don't try to use my words against me, Nia dearest. Everything I say is trhe truth, I made youn and I stole you, I created you, but not all that is you. You have free will, my child, but not against me, you'll leanr that soon enough." Hamani hissed, not particularily angrily, just coldy, harshly, serious to every word.
"Each of you will bear with ness to this now." she said sharply, looking up to each thief. "You once were an ordinary lot, so many different people, personalities, believes, strengths, weaknesses, and pasts wrapped together by me, I brought you twenty-four to one lace, and I commanded you. You were mine, and have such been since then. I became too greedy, and they tired to take my fourtnune, my army, away from me, but I found a loop hole. As you lot were rewarded, I was punished. But, with my punishment, there was an upside. I can use my prize not only against others, but to benefit myself, how very vile a mind can be, how very thoughts, how cruel. Beftitting, but wise."
"Melora told you of the 'bearer'." she began to laugh, almost maniacally. "If you lot knew it were me, you'd never hasten to damage yourselves. But, as I said before, it's easy to throw your own punishment away, to skirk your responsibilities, and everytime one of you lot escape a d_ath the inn_cent and the poor, the sickly and the young, the stupid and the wounded, the ledery and the saints, will forfeit one of their lives in lieu. Back to the point, I have all your memories, all your pasts, everything that you desire, tucked away, and I can use it all against you, in particular, you, my little Nia. Who had a wonderfully delicious past. And you lot are mine, your essence belongs to me. Don't you see my power, I own you, and you own every other living creature."
"Foolish gods."
"Now then, I have an extra thief... an imperfection in my collection. And you claim to accept d_ath from me, sweet Nia, if that is true, my decision is an easy one, but, also, I understand Melora seeks d_ath just as persistantly. And this makes a difficult decision for me. She clearly wishes for freedom more, but you bother me a far greater deal more than any other theif can claim."
Her and that weak Shinobu. Who will need to be punished later.
"What do you say, Nia?"

{And now I shall post as my newest character. ^^}
He walked through the quiet forest, completely oblivious to the fighting going on just a little deeper, towards his destination. The wind blew gently, the slight feeling of an omnious event going on brushing on the edges of his mind, but Yuki ignored it in favour of concetrating on the rocky path his sandaled feet tredded upon.
His sword bounced on his hip lightly, as the pale boy looked forward with his dark grey eyes, strands of light and dark grey, almost purple, hair blowing into his face in an annoying manner. But he ignored it in favour of being calm and collected; something he was used to. Something he was...Familiar, with.
He saw the sighting of the large theatre, and saw a few theives outside; the happy Yul, the childish Rikku and ever the enigma, Fai. He sighed gently, raising his head as his feet hit steady ground, and he straightened his shoulders, walking towards them. Yul and Rikku seemed to be conversing, while Fai looked...Troubled, by something.

Kosho wathced with wide eyes as Hamani spat out cruel words at Nia, showing her greatest strength; her knowledge. Knowledge of their pasts...Of the present...Maybe even the future. She narrowed her eyes slightly, shifitng in her spot. She came to fight because it was there; it kept her busy and she didn't need to think of trivial things; food, water, sleep, death, life, even her past. A past so plain; so boring, but so essential to her being. Why she became a thief; why she became a rouge ninja; everything.
The fact that this...WOMAN, who created and stole them, knew this past, and every other past, was frightening. And how she spoke...Gods over them, and then they were gods of the people that suffered through life and death.
Gods? Them? She inwardly spat out a bitter laugh; if they were gods, they were awfully terrible at being them. Selfish, greedy gods stealing lives and luxuries. They were foolish, in that sense. Yes; foolish gods. That suited them.
And then...As she spoke so easily of death...something she had forgotten about long ago after she had woken up to find she could not die; could not feel pain; did not feel thirst or hunger...
How did this woman know so much? Was it because she was the God of ALL gods? Because she knew what happened after that event? Because she knew...All there was to know?
