Staring at the flame, she looked like she was in a trance. Her eyes were distant, and she wasn't paying attention to anything, and didn't notice Cam's roar, even though she was closer to her than some of the others. If they looked at the flame, they would only see a flame. Rika saw images in it, reading them, wondering what they were telling her.
Buildings burned, plants withered and died. Lakes dried up, the fish flopping around, suffocating without water. People fought each other over simpl problems. A dark fortress was built, and one figure stood ontop cackling, causing the panic and suffering....
Closing her hand, Rika sent the flame away, breathing harder, a sad and scared expression on her face. She'd seen what would happen if they failed, and it scared her. Escpecially... Shuddering, she dismissed the images from her mind.

"Ryou. We need to speak for a moment." Advent said pulling Ryou from where he was and took him to a sheltered area. "I suggest you do not get close to the reincarnate."
Ryou was annoyed, more or less it was because of Advent. "Why can't you just speak her name? It's Tomo-chan not reincarnate." Ryou watched as Advent rolled his eyes before speaking again. "You seem jealous huh Advent?"
Advent just stared. "Jealousy is not something that I can feel. Besides that... you know what's comes once we reach Haku." Ryou looked down shamefully. He remembered what would happen. Advent continued, "Once we reach Haku, the pieces of Judgment will reawaken. Us, the knights, will be sacrificed to the reincarnate so that she may kill the evil one." Ryou looked at away. "You had to remind me you b*****d." Advent ignored the comment. "As I said before, do not get close to the reincarnate. It will only bring you and her sorrow." Advent turned to leave but Ryou grabbed onto a piece of his top. "Are you sure there is nothing else? We can live, us the knights, we can live can't we?" Advent didn't look at him. "We can live. Only if one of us absorbs the corrupted piece of Haku." Ryou released his hold realizing what Advent meant. "You mean to. Your going to absorb the piece? That's impossible! Your one of us! You'll get killed!" Advent smirked turning on Ryou knocking him to the ground. "Why do you think so small? Even you could. After Kari died, it was our fate to protect the next one. Tomo-chan, your lover, happened to be her reincarnation. You think so small Ryou. With the piece of judgment, you can live on with her... as I journey on for more. The Judgment is a legend, among mortals and us. However, we can make it happen." Ryou looked up at Advent. "Your crazy you know that." Advent shrugged. "Maybe I am, but I am willing to kill myself to see if the Judgment will accept me. You may read this book for more, if you wish." Advent walked off leaving Ryou to get up and walk back with the rather large book.

Rika hoped off her branch, and followed Advent and Ryou. Once Advent left, she ran after him. "Advent, if you do absorb it, it will be worse. I saw it in the flames, and I only now know what they ment. You will become Haku, and it will be worse than if we do nothing." she had tears in her eyes, remembering what she had seen, now hearing the screams...

"You didn't see it, you can't become him, we'll all die, it will be worse than if we're absorbed by Tomo." she kept following him, having a harder time talking, the screams were growing louder, and she recognized the voices...

"Why do you believe such things?" Advent asked suddenly stopping to face Rika-chan. "You believe that I'll cause more destruction than what I believe I won't yes?" He turned again, he could see the soldier and it was somewhat irritating him. "Go back to the group. I will think it over."

Sighing, she went back like she was told. Sitting against a tree trunk, she put her head on her knees, the screams finally gone. Tired and not sure what to do, she shut her eyes, keeping the tears from falling.
