But... he uses some nasty little rule called leaping - apparently, anyone within 3 inches of a combat can throw their attacks in, and with some other upgrade they all get to pull their attacks off, even if I end up killing them before it comes to their turn initiative wise!!! gonk

He needs a Tyrant or zoanthrope with the power within a foot of the unit I think. Try falling back so that the Tyrantisn't within range to use it. As for the catapults, i think they should bring bakc overwatch. lol

Eldar's new codex is slated for the end of this year, possibly as late as beginning of next year.

I know this is kinda random but can anyone explain to me exactly what the death spinner is/fires/how it works if possible? Ive been reading the eldar codex and its talks about wire filaments and junk and ive been really wondering about it.

To my understanding the Death spinner uses a liquid well of a organo-polymer that is forced through small holes at the barrel, apparently it becomes hard and so thin that it can cut through flesh and bone like a hot knife through butter.

Now for my own post:
Eldar need more HQ types... there are only 2..... You can't count a warlock as an HQ TRUELY because they can't be independant. I think that it would be cool if there was an actual aspect that took strategy and warfare as part of the aspect, making them ideal leaders. Masters of Command and Warfare. Equipped with something like say A shuriken pistol and either CC Weapon, Chainsword or Powerweapon

Whats wrong with having a Farseer lead your army... if an Aspect leads your army that might be crappy. The Exarch only have one wound so it's death pretty easily. I would Still stick with a Farseer... and Mind War really comes in handy against big foes.

I don't play Eldar, but my favorite part of the Eldar is their Aspect Warriors and Exarchs. I couldn't give two craps about their phenominal psychic powers. Aspect Warriors, in my mind, are the defining characteristic of Eldar armies, and if I could field an entire army of just them, I would. (That might already be possible, I'm not sure.)
