"I'm still not sure. Shizuka's 'blackouts' as she calls them, have been much shorter lately, and they've been happening less often. I think now that she's here, they might stop happening altogether." Amaya knew something the others didn't. these 'blackouts' happen when she's loneliest, sometimes with some exceptions, but rarely.

"Ach... well, if you think so..." Faust still seems to have doubts, but ducks his head submissively. "Eliza, mein Schatz... Was denkest du?"
"You can talk to Shizuka about it," suggests Manta. "She probably hates the seizures as much as you used to."
"True." says Faust. "Well... do you mind sticking around until she wakes up? I'm worried about moving her. Plus... I don't want to face the world. Is Ren gone, at least?"

"Of course I don't mind." Amaya told him. "I've waited through quite long 'blackouts', and I don't believe this one will last much longer."

"I'm glad," Faust says. "If she won't move... I need to check on someone. You say she's in the closet, Manta?"
"Yeah," Manta says slowly.
"That's no place for her," scoffs Faust. "She has to be moved reverently." He goes to the closet.

Who's in his closet? Amaya was beginning to feel a bit uneasy, but she kept it well hidden as she watched over Shizuka.

"Well, I didn't want to freak out Shizuka... but her name is Eliza. She's my wife," Faust explains, gently removing a skeleton held together by chain from the closet.

"Oh..." Amaya could tell that it was his spirit ally. It probabaly wouldn't have freaked Shizuka out. Well, she might be a little freaked out at first, but she'd get over that pretty quickly.

"Ehe," Faust laughed, thinking that maybe he shouldn't have been so blunt. "It's not that I'm ashamed... it's just that Necromancers get kind of a bad rap. She's still my wife, and I'm very proud to be her husband. It's just that lately, oversouling has drained a lot of furyoku. I don't have a lot of energy these days," he says sadly.

"That's understandable. Shamans in general don't have such a good reputation in the general public eyes." Amaya pointed out.

"True," sighs Faust. He tips his head back, dry-swallowing a pill. "My circadian rhythm is so whacked... I need to sleep. That's probably the reason I can't oversoul. How is Shizuka? Any sign of her coming out of it?"

"She began moving a little, like she's just about to wake up. She should be back to normal soon." Amaya assured.

"Ausgezeichnet!" Faust exclaims. He's a little too jumpy, like a man whose evening ritual has been disrupted, but it could just be because of whatever he'd taken a second ago. "Excellent. Whether or not you can get her to consider that medication, you should encourage her to get help. And.... if she's still frightened of me... could you maybe help her overcome that, too? Unfortunately, her initial reaction is one I receive very often."

"I understand that reaction too..." Amaya remembered a few times when new shamans saw a spirit (her) for the first time. "As for Shizuka, I'll see what I can do for her. I'll leave it up to her whether or not she wants to use the medication."
Shizuka finally regained consiousness, not remembering how exactly she got into the chair. Did I... Crap! I blacked out again!

Faust hovers beside the bed, tucking Eliza's skeleton in. "Ah! Good, you're awake. We've been a little worried for you, Shizuka... are you feeling all right?"

Shizuka nodded, somewhat surprised that he still acted like he cared. After all, her blackouts scared her a lot of times. It had to scare other people.
