The reason firehouses have circular stairways is from the days of yore when the engines were pulled by horses. The horses were stabled on the ground floor and figured out how to walk up straight staircases.

Around the time in Rome when the lions at the coliseum were eating christians some "criminals" with a death sentence were instead killed at the theater. In the play, when it came time for a death, the real actor would be replaced by the accused and the execution would be performed live.

The Chinese, during the reign of Kublai Khan, used lions on hunting expeditions. They trained the big cats to pursue and drag down massive animals - from wild bulls to bears - and to stay with the kill until the hunter arrived.

In 2002, Greenpeace held a protest against a cargo ship smuggling illegal mahogany wood from the Brazilian Amazon rainforest into a Miami port. In swift response, Attorney General John Ashcroft prosecuted Greenpeace and letting the smugglers go!
Never before had an advocacy group been prosecuted for a peaceful protest by its supporters. John Ashcroft went to extraordinary lengths, digging up an obscure 1872 law against "sailormongering" a law designed to prevent brothel owners from boarding ships and luring sailors to their establishments.

Mr. Pokefreak The world's youngest parents were 8 and 9 and lived in China in 1910. now you come back. lol The youngest mother was three years old when she had her baby she was four. The father was acused of incest and rape but they could never prove it. She grew up calling her son brother.
