Nakago_Chan But the powers, what I'm saying is, Mistukake seems to be the only one where we can really say he's got powers we see. With Chichiri, we don't know how much of what he can do is his power, and how much is actually from training. Tamahome get's that chi blast...but that's only after the upgrade.
It's like all they really have is hightened normal abilities for the most part. Don't forget Tasuki's Iron Harisen. Perfect gift for any pyro or hot- headed mountain thief. 3nodding I mean, how many people do you know that can summon fire like that?

He got that fan for being the leader of the bandits. Whoever the leader is, get's the Harisen and whoever knows the incantation, can get it to produce fire. It's only after he got his upgrade from Taiiskun that he became the only one who could use it and learnt how to manipulate it better. The Harisen isin't his seshi power though.

It ain't fair gonk

I remember when Nurkio died, I was all "why would they kill off such a main character? They should have killed off Mistukake or Chiriko instead" since both really didin't have major/prominent rolls... I never expected just about every one of them to drop o_O

I never expected just about every one of them to drop o_O Yeah, that was kind of surprising for me too. First Nuriko, then Chiriko, then Mitsukake and Hotohori... I was surprised they got killed off, especially Hotohori - but I had a feeling that someone would get killed off. Having all of them survive and happy would seem just a tad too easy for the gang.

LHL It's not Yui's fault she seems so evil. Nakago told her lies then kissed her and said he "loved her". It's all his fault that she and Miaka aren't friends. Then again, she did listen to him instead of her long time friend. It wasn't Nakago's fault at all. It was Miaka's fault. I quote "I came back for you Tamahome." Miaka wouldn't have gone back to the book at all if not for the fact she was stupidly in love with Tamahome. She didn't give a flying flip that Yui was stuck in there. Miaka betrayed Yui. Then lied to her face about it. Simple as that. It's no wonder Yui felt betrayed.

Now, when you put it that way, it makes Miaka look evil. Maybe she just temporarily forgot? I'm sure that she isn't the type to NOT care about her best friend - I mean, they became friends again, right? The only thing is that she's just so much more absorbed in Tamahome... and then it makes her seem like an unloyal friend. But I can see where you're coming from.

I see too. I hated Miaka for a while, but I cant hate for very long. Tho I woulda done more 4 Yui, if I was Miaka. I wouldnt have fallen 4 Tama anyhoo, tho. I think that I can really see Yui's fuel, cuz all my friends tell me "You're gonna be the Priestess of Seiryu!!!" P.S surprised n keyboards in English, Y-U-I is right in a row! Go Yui!

lol How observant...You're right xd
But yeah, I remember being so angry at Miaka for saying she came for Yui, then going up to Tamahome & telling him she really came back for him. I think that was her biggest mistake that lit the fuse for the whole thing.

LOL I never noticed that. Yui's name is now officially cool!
Anyways, I think that we'd all do different things if we were in Miaka's place. We're all different. And I really did hate Miaka for a while too.

people say that yui's the bad one, then that miaka's the bad one....neither is really actually bad....yui was tricked by nakago, who told her lies, so its not her fault she felt betrayed by miaka,...and miaka was in love, and even though she said "i came back for you tamahome", when she was going back into the book it was after she realized yui had been sucked in, so she went back for yui too....

It dawns on her later that Yui could possibly be in there after she met Chichiri and they were talking about the possibility of a Seiryuu no miko. Before that, Miaka really wasin't all that sure Yui was in there. But she even says that even if she didin't have Tamahome to go back to, she would have still gone in the book to look for Yui.
I never really understood why Yui waiting three months in Kuto never accepting to be Seiryu no miko though... I mean, sure, Kuto is an enmy country to Konan... but seriously, if she wished to go home, what would anyone be able to do to stop her?
