Hi, I'm Mirky =) I'm from England (although I was born and bought up in New Zealand). My favourite version of the Phantom of the Opera is the original book; not the best wriiten story ever, but it still had me in tears. I'm yet to read the whole of the Susan Kaye novel, as i cannot find a copy of it _anywhere_. I liked the 2004 movie version - I must agree that Gerard Butler is gorgeous, but Erik himself smells of death. Not the same xD. Lon Chaney made a good phantom, but don't even get me started on Argento's version -shudder-.

My name's Sam, I'm 17, soon to be eighteen, I'm a high school senior/college freshman, I'm a writer and musician, and would love to have Erik as my voice teacher, but alas, he can only be my writing muse. I'm in the middle of a fanfic, and i hope when i post it, some of you will read it.

Hey there! Im Juliette from Minnesota, Im 15 and I play the bassoon and the flute which got me to be the music loving phan I am now....yep! My friends arn't as obsessed with PotO as I am, so its nice to be in a place where I can just talk endlessly about it and nobody will be like "okee, I think we heard enough for an eternity Juliette..." Ho'snap! 4laugh

Hi everyone,
I'm new to the guild, but not to Phantom. My first experience with Phantom came in grade 7 or 8 when my school had a field trip to go see the musical in Vancouver at the Queen Elizabeth theatre. The great thing about it was that Jeff Hyslop was doing Kiss of the Spiderwoman at broadway this time... so they came out with... non other than Colm Wilkinson.... (at least that's how I remember it... I might have been too pumped up to catch the real name redface ). I loved the movie that came out this year, and probably my favorite scene from the musical has to be Masquerade.

Hi everyone!!... As for the phantom of the Opera... I have not read the book but I have seen the movie many many times and I saw the play at an Academy of the Preforming Arts program at a local highschool. it was really good. so uh.. yeah.. thats me!

I have seen the musical twice. I grew up with the recorded versions of the musical. I've been dying to see the play version though, it's supposedly more related to the book.

Hello all, I'm Samantha and I live in Ny. I'm 16 as of right now, and I am a huge Phan. I have seen the 1926 and newest version of the film. The 1926 one twice ((second time I had to dub it myself. lol)) and the newest one 21 times. Uh, yeah... I'm a little obsessed. For Christmas I am hoping to get the book and sheet music. Unfortuantely, I cannot find the 1986 version with Crawford in it and it's KILLING ME!!! I want that version of the movie!!! crying This February I am also going to see it performed on stage and I am soooo excited. I have third row seats!!! ^.^ I can't wait, I really can't. Other than Phantom stuff, I'm pretty different. Kinda think outside of mainstream people. But hey, whatever floats your boat!

Um...hello everybody. Obviously I love the Phantom of the Opera, otherwise I wouldn't be here right now. I think I fell in love with it when I was...2?...somewhere around there. My aunt would always play the music and I would always keep switching back to the themesong over and over and over again. I've seen the musical twice and hope to see it again soon. I've went to see the movie at least 10 times when it was at theaters and bought the movie when it came out and read the book a billion times...I think that sums up my obsession...
