He put the flower to the ground and walked close to her, so close he could feel her heat and his heat collide. He touched her cheek with his paw, "What is the matter my sweet?" he looked to her gently.

Mari felt her breath catch in her throat as he stood to near to her. "What do you mean? I'm fine..." She said calmly, trying to keep her facade alive... to protect herself.

"Do you intend to lie to me now?" his voice was almost a seductive sweet tone, but it wasn't meant to be. Anu had a gruff voice like his father, Tabby not so much. They seemed to complete each other as in they were complete opposites but still enjoyed each others company.

He was giving up now, he padded away from her looking down at the flower. It was always worth a shot, though love can not be one on words but actions. His mother was an excellent teacher, though he felt that a beautiful lioness as herself would be much more content with someone more handsome than he.

Mari watched him go, feeling a little more degected, and a little more lost than she had when they first started talking. Though she knew he couldn't hear her, she whispered the words, "I'm sorry..." to the wind.

[He's not away from her, I worded that badly. He just went back to where he was, so they weren't so close. XP]
Tabbi turned as he thought he had heard something. "Hmm?" he asked. This was rather pointless, why should he think that someone of her beauty should take him? Sure his family was very handsome but he didn't think of himself as the such. Low self esteem issues, aroung pretty girls perhaps.

Mari swallowed, her nerves getting the best of her. "I'm sorry Tabansi... I'm just... i'm nervous around you." She wouldn't outright say it... but hints were okay... right?

Laenya raised her head, rolling onto her belly. Slowly she stood, hesitating for a moment before letting a smile form on her maw. She recognised that roar. She called back to Nyoka, stepping out from the shade of the tree to let the sun come down on her light coat.

Niobe bore 3 beautiful cubs to Cayimmi, Welcome Melantha, Corbin and Polaris.
Nyoka fathers 2 cubs with his beloved, Laenya.
Welcome Laenya, Belle Année and Daedalus.
Which also means that Benoni and Kila are now, Aunt and Uncle...as well as grandparents.
*More new to be added as it comes...

Benoni sat perched on a large boulder, his back to the pride cave. The sounds of a slumbering pride was his background music as his eyes danced over the land as the sun slowly set into the evening, he took a deep breath and thought of his life.
He was madly in love with his mate, whom he cherished with his entire being. The father to many children, of whom he all adored endlessly, their growth and changes continued to amaze him as they all continued to grow into themselves, and now finding himself an uncle and grandfather within a few weeks of each other was another thing entirely.
He nodded his head, he was happy with his life, not a thing he'd change for anything in the world. He'd die to protect them all.
He sighed, he knew his love was missing her sister, and for the life of him. He couldnt find her, she always seemed to disappear.
Nyoka laid curled around Laenya, he rested his head over her back, sleepingly staring at their beautiful children, not sure how his life turned out so well. He'd found a most wonderful girl, and she'd bore the most beautiful children to him...together they'd make a life together.
He yawned, and licked his muzzle, seattling down for the night he groomed the back of his beloved.
Niobe laughed as she pulled Melantha back towards her, "Now Mel, tis time for bed...and your bath." Niobe tried to reason with her daughter, she herself was growing a bit tired, 3 cubs, all very smart and active. She held her daughter between her paws as she bathed her, she was happiest with her mate and children.
"But muuuuum.." Melantha cried, she pouted as she sat there as her mothers tongue ran over her coat, she glanced over at her father. "Daaad, tell mum Im clean enough and that I dont need sleep..I want to go out with Uncle Beni.." she pouted at her father now.
Adaezed curled up in her own sleeping area, a soft sigh echoed out as she rested her head upon her paws. Alone, she thought as she closed her eyes, always alone. She curled her tail up her side and softly brushed her tail up and down her side.
Dakota laid, not to far off from his oldest sister. He'd noted his father leave the den, and he'd yet to return. As the darkness consumed the sky, he wondered what he was thinking, what he was feeling. Dakota glanced to his older brother Nyoka, he had it made, his mate was with him. All Dakota could think about was a moon marked princess..in a far away pride.
Sophia yawned softly, a soft coo echoing out as she curled up in a tight ball in a small fur padded corner of her parents more private sleeping quarters. She'd had a long day playing with her cousin's and niece and nephew, she licked her nose before glancing up at her siblings, wondering what they were doing at the moment.

Kila was sleeping peacefully, her son Helios camoflauged in her own fur as well. She had fallen asleep before the others and was dreaming of pleasant things until a sharp pain rose from her side which made her grunt. Her daughter, Daiquiri had rammed into her side it seemed. She awoke lazily again. She was a very, very light sleeper. "Sorry mamma." she looked at her, the poor cub's ears were laid flat. "S'alright darling," she gave her a swift lick to the fore head and looked to where her mate was supposed to be. She looked around and had seen most of the family was still awake, she looked over to see her eldest daughter concealing thoughts. She sighed softly and let out a yawn as she got to her feet to go find her heater. She smiled to Adaeze as she exited the den to see her beloved perching himself on a boulder. She snuck up behind him and gave herself away by rubbing her cheek along him until she was facing him. She swalloed looking up at him dazed a bit, she was worn out from her cubs it had been a long day of swimming and Helios was knocked out as well. "What are you doing love?" she asked leaning on him slightly, watching him with those innocent orbs that seemed so youthful even when she was tired.

His frame tensed before he noticed who was with him, he wasnt a very touchy lion, but his dear heart could touch all she wished. He purred as he licked her muzzle, "Sitting out here, thinking of life...my life..our life." He said as he gazed down at her, deep lavender eyes staring into her sweetfully innocence.
Benoni's eyes held the warn looked of a warrior who'd been out on the feild for to many years, his body was well toned and ready for battle at the drop of the call, scars marked here and there. But as he grinned, years seemed to melt away. "Lets take a walk? Just me and you? The children are safe here..."

She looked to him curiously, thinking of life. She looked into his deep lavender gaze and it was one of his prized assets. They were beautiful, she thought. She stretchd her legs out as she had been ready for sleep but was waking again, she nodded "I would like that very much." She hadn't got much alone time with Benoni, for the childeren took a whole lot of her time and pride buisness with his. She was crazy in love with him though so she did not mind. Her tail swayed softly behind her, if she ever dreamed through out her life some of the things she would endure just to get to here...she would do it all over again. She loved him, loved her childeren, Adaeze the whole family and pride. The land, it was almost as heaven but something in her tones said Benoni was in very deep thought and perhaps they would have a discussion upon the thoughts in his head.
