Hikari merely flushed and was about to hang her head until she saw the card before the actor had a chance to hide it. "Oh!" She let out surprising herself by speaking her thoughts outloud rather then keeping them to herself. But she couldnt stop herself now. "Y-You're the fool!"

Miaka was now busy playing with her braclets, happily ignoring Hikari.

The youth twitched, but then he remembered the writing on the card and the fortune teller's words and realized that she wasn't insulting him. Pulling out the card again he smiled faintly, "Yes, I guess I am." He paused, trailing off, before looking at her in surprise as something clicked inside his head. "Wait, you know about these cards?"

Hikari nodded. "I-I am the High Priestess." She spoke her doe brown eyes glittering, before she looked down fondly at the child in her lap. She wasnt sure if she should tell the male more- if she was even allowed too.

She looked back to where she saw Annie disappear before lowering her voice a notch, leaning forward towards teh actor. "You saw the fortune teller, didnt you?" She leaned back in her chair relaxing a little.

"I-I dont know if we should talk to much about it here." She said in teh same soft tone "M-maybe we c-can talk somewhere else l-later?" She spoke her eyes shifting back to where the baker had gone, hoping the actor would catch her drift.

Feyd's eyes brightened; at last, answers to the questions the fortune teller had ignored. He would have thrown caution into the winds and started asking right then and there, (after all, it was only a card to him), but Hikari seemed to want descretion and though mildly annoyed Feyd was willing to oblige.

"I did see her," he responded in the same low voice. "Come by the Waynader theater when you can, ask for Feyd." Then, raising his voice he turned back to the counter, slipping a few coins onto it as he announced, "I am... no longer hungery."

With that the actor turned and left, heading back to the theater. Once again, he had a lot to think about.

Hikari offered him one of those warm smiles of hers, holding in her composure as he left. However the moment he did finally leave, she let out a small squeal that could no longer be contained. "Miaka babe! We've been invited into the theater!"

"Ahboo?" The girl could only ask, utterly lost as to why her mother was suddenly acting so weird. Speaking of Ahboo where the hell did that person go?! She didnt give him permission to leave yet!

"Yes, yes! Ahbo- I mean Feyd has invited us into the theater later. Shall we go?"

"phhht" was all the reply Hikari got as the child went back to playing with her lips.

Following close to Elliot, her hand still within his iron grasp, Adalei watched the road ahead, eyes darting to different objects--a fallen tree or abandoned crates--from time to time to check for suspicious activity. To quicken their walk to Kensington, Elliot had decided to follow the canals, which ran rather low these days with water thick in mud, trash, and other debris. They had followed the waterway that ran on the southern edge of the Boneyard and Rosewall Gardens before arriving at the Kensington district.

Though the area was generally busy during midday, this particular day seemed to stir more activity than usual.

"Let's see...that theatre..." Elliot narrowed his eyes, staring at each of the rooftops in attempt to remember the way to the their friend. From this position, however, he could hardly recognize any of the buildings they passed.

"Ah, wait! Elliot, isn't that him?" Adalei exclaimed suddenly, pointing to the back of a man who was wandering ahead of them.

"I think you're right, Adalei. Should we just approach him on the street?"

Pausing, she shook her head, saying, "Well...we aren't the kind of people to have any business at a theatre, right? It'd look a bit odd, especially with our outfits... Let's..." Trailing off, she raised her eyes to the roof.

"Well, hopefully Mister Feyd won't be too angry with us sneaking into his fine theatre."

Feyd hurried along, not even noticing he was being followed. He was far too busy thinking, thinking about the girl who'd finally answered his questions and her pink haired charge who created new ones. And why did that child keep saying 'Ahboo'? Feyd certainly hoped she didn't think that was his name.

Entering the theater the actor wandered away from the busy sections, towards the upper levels and the quiet that they promised. He walked for some time, he didn't care where, just that he did, he always thought better while moving.

Yet outside of one room his paused and it took him a moment to realize why. It was the storage room. The one where he housed the girl and her strangely dressed companion. Come to think of it, there seemed to be a growth in the strangely garbed, first the boy who woke him up, then the pink haired girl. Perhaps there was a new acting troupe in the works?

On a whim Feyd unlatched the door, pushing it open. The smell of fresh cut oak met him and the actor smiled, rembering the newly fixed window. His window.

"That's the one, right?" Adalei asked, pointing to a window from the rooftop where they sat. "Surprising he fixed it in one day... I certainly hope he isn't upset about it."

From their position, Elliot was able to survey the area. When he was satisfied that they were safe from notice, he said to Adalei, "I think it's safe to go through that way. It's a storage room, right? Don't think anyone will know we're there."

Carrying the girl on his back, Elliot lept across to the roof of the theatre. With his footing secure, he crawled carefully to the edge of the roof, looking down to wear the window was, only a few feet below.

"Let me open it," Elliot said to his companion. Hands clamping the edge of the roof tightly, he lowered himself to the ledge below. Once he was certain he could balance on the thin ledge, he slid a hand across the frame of the window, until he found an area he was certain would give. With an assertive push, he flung the window open, and jumped inside.

"Oh!" he exclaimed, as his eyes adjusted to the interior. A man was standing in the doorway of the room--and it was none other than the man they had come to visit!

Elliot's surprise was nothing compared to Feyd's. The actor hadn't time to worry about what might come through the window for by the time he noticed it opening the pair were already through. The youth made a strange sort of choking sound in his surprise, his hand moving to the door post for support.

"You two!" It wasn't an unglad tone, but it was much too shocked to have room for any other emotion. He hadn't quite exected to see them again. He hoped the window hadn't been damaged this time around.

It took a moment but Feyd regained his manners, stepping into the room as he closed the door behind him. "I'm glad your health seems to have returned," he offered by way of greeting.

"Elliot, not so hard please," Adalei complained, rubbing her wrist.

However, as she turned her attention to Feyd, her demeanor became cheerful as well. "Yes, Elliot doesn't fare so well when the weather is warm. Today's been cool and wet, though. A little unusual for this time of year, but it's fortunate for him."

Straightening her dress, she bowed her head, then gave Elliot a small pinch on the arm to remind him of his manners as well. "It is a pleasure to be in your company once more, sir. We were concerned about your welfare. Unfortunately, we left rather abruptly yesterday, and I fear for what sort of unpleasant circumstances you have have found yourself in alone with that man."

Feyd having been gone for some time and Annie still hiding away in the back left the older to the two Chou’s feeling more then just a tad awkward. To be truthful, she entirely did NOT want the baker to come back. She was far to suspicious about her new daughter, and she wasn’t about to spill the beans about a magic card turning into a child.

I mean, how off would that look?

Huffing a sigh Hikari bit on her bottom lip before finally coming to a decision. Standing up she briskly walked over to where Annie had hung her dress and took it before folding it neatly and sticking her head into the area she saw the woman disappear for the bread. “A-Annie...I-I have to go. I-I need to go check on Y-yami. And I-Im sure Miaka i-is missing her.” She answered with a smile and then a wave before walking out of the bakery rather quickly.

Once out, she hugged miaka and the dress closer to her before running home. “Lets make a quick stop before we go visit the actor huh? These gold things are causing us lots of trouble!”

Feyd nodded graciously in return as he was taught, but the effect was ruined as he laughed, shaking his head. "It was kind of you to be concerned but that man is unpleasent, nothing more." The actor paused, a faint look of pride flickering across his face. "He can't hurt us yet, he doesn't dare to." Feyd didn't elaborate.

Moving to the side he took a seat atop a spare chair, motion for the two to make themselves comfortable as well. "What should I call you two?" He was hesitent to ask for their names since last time they were hesitent to give them, but really, he needed something to identify them with.

"Adalei, my name is Adalei." She paused, regarding Feyd with a thoughtful expression. Her family, though of a long lineage of wealth, was not one of the more prominent members of Wynander's upper class prior to Sehket's Awakening. He probably would not recognize the name. "My family was aristocracy before... Well, ten years ago. I was too young at that time to visit the theatre, though. My mother always told me I'd sleep during the plays if I went."

As always, Elliot exhibited an obedient silence as Adalei spoke, until she nodded to him. "Ah, Adalei calls me Elliot. So on this Side, I must be called Elliot."

"Are there any performances this evening?" Adalei asked if her companion had finished speaking. "We haven't been to one before. We'd love to attend if we could do so without being noticed."

Feyd was happily surprised that they were ready to tell him their names and he smiled through the introduction, faltering only at the mention of 'this Side'.

"We've recently finished repairs on box four, you're welcome to use that; but if you really want to avoid notice watching from the wings would probably be best. If you say you're with me no one should ask questions-- oh!" Feyd stopped suddenly, touching his hand to his head in exasperation. "Of course I forgot, tonights proformance was pushed back a day, the execution and all," Feyd gave a helpless shrug.

Like the wind; always moving.

This was Esmerelda .. the street performer originally from the east. Since her 18th year of life, she has been constantly moving from town to town .. never settling down. Telling herself she never would, of course .. but deep down, she knew one day she would.

Would this be the place?

This time around, Esmerelda had been travelling for much longer then usual. On most occasions should would only travel a few days before settling into a town for maybe a week at a time, then skipping off again. However, this time she had been on the move for several weeks.

Finding herself face to face with her two childhood friends again - fatigue and hunger - Esmerelda was desperate to find a town .. and that she did.

The young woman found herself on the outskirts of the Kensington District of Wynander.
