Duke thought for a moment and decided against it. He wasn't going to push the already annoyed demon," No. Nothing."
Katsu looked back at the demon and was about to say something then changed his mind...then changed it again,"Do you know the speed freak Daiguren?"

"Never heard of him," Keira replied without a single thought. She had no business with other Tainted and kept to herself. She had no business with any of the races, actually. She could have cared less about anyone else because her only objective was to survive in the ruthless city. If this little werewolf wanted to pick a fight about it with his attitude, she would gladly accept. "I don't know anyone, so don't bother asking," she finished, glaring at Katsu. Her green-gold eyes glimmered with hostility.

Momo took over not going to accept the hostile demon,"Hey girly knock it off. It was just a simple question. Deal with it. You asked so we asked, got it?" He faded off as the waiter finally returned with bread. He watched as he left again. "..." He silently looked at the bread,"Does anyone here even eat that stuff?"

Keira compulsively looked away. She felt ashamed to respond to his question, but figured he might realize the hard life she lived if she told him. "I do," she replied quietly, her gaze fixed on something only she could see. This time when she looked back at him, an indescribable emotion shown like fire in her eyes. "When you've had to scavenge to survive, eat rodents and birds raw off the street, and have your life saved because you happened to get your hands on a loaf of bread, then you'll have the right to ask that question," she hissed furiously. If she hadn't been so hungry she would have left then and there. Without another word she started picking at the meals she had ordered.

Katsu took over with a growl of annoyance,"I'm sorry about that airheaded retard. I actually like bread..." He looked apologetically at the demon girl, "Momo is a little immature and doesn't understand many things. Like what you went through. We lived through a much different yet equally horrible event...or events."

Keira paused. She was confused. Who was Momo? Her head tilted slightly as her catlike curiosity took over. "What are you talking about?" she asked rather rudely. She hadn't meant to be, but it came with her personality and she couldn't help it. She bit her lip as she realized how she sounded and returned to eating.

Kyrre sat slumped in the corner. His usual position, and one that he had been absent from for a long time. His reasoning would soon become apparant over the next few days, it was obvious to any who knew him. His hands would tremble gently and his ears - with their fantastic range of hearing were pricked up constantly. It was as though he was expecting something to attack him at all times.
"Can I help you?" came a voice. The barmaid had wandered over to him. He let out a barely audible yelp, snapped his head to face her and immediately raised his arm closest to her up in defense. His fangs were drawn, one of then noticeably chipped. The barmaid saw now his face - full of cuts and bruises, black eyes, far too pale even for a Vampire. His hand was in a similar condition as he raised it; even a finger appeared to be dislocated without his notice.
She was shocked but knew better than to react harshly. She got a lot of odd characters in this place. "Blood?" she suggested? Kyrre's eyes reacted, a spark shone through them. "Wait, don't I know you?" she continued. "You were one of the Vampire Coven's elders, were you not?.. what happened to you?" she asked, backing away half in confusion and half in fear. He had not been known to partake in much conversation that did not lead to slaughter.
His lips quivered as he hissed and snarled, his fists clenching.
"R.. right.. i'll get you your blood! Our finest!" squealed the barmaid, as she hurredly returned to the bar. This did not calm the Vampire though, and he remained on guard and angry until he saw the blood beind poured, realising it was for him. His posture returned to his more relaxed state, but there was still an aura of uncertainty and fear about him. He was uncomfortable here, that was for sure.

It didn't take long for her to finish her meal in silence. After all, she was used to eating quickly. She completely clean both plates and had a full stomach for the first time she could remember. It was almost an uncomfortable feeling, and she didn't like it. Refusing to look at either Duke or Katsu, Keira looked around the restaurant for the first time. It was nice, and warm, compared to the cold outside, but not a place she would want to stay. Resting an elbow on the table, she asked, "So...is there anything else you want or are you done with me?"

Duke asked with a raised eyebrow,"You want to leave us so soon?" He shook his head and laid down two very large bills on the table,"Katsu stay here and finish the meals. Keira once the waiter comes use this money to pay and keep the change. Please." He stood up and left without touching most of his food.
(Exit Duke)
Katsu watched with a raised eyebrow,"He's not as untouched as it would seem." Turning his attention back to the demon he says,"Don't worry about it. I was just surprised that someone actually saw us as one person. It was actually nice if Momo was...well....nicer."

Keira's lightly tanned face instantly flushed dark maroon at Katsu's comment. She wasn't sure why she was so embarrassed, but the thought of her being embarrassed in front of him made it all the worse. Quickly turning her head away in her attempt to hide her face, her gaze followed Duke as he left. She couldn't find any words to say and simply sat in an awkward, still silence.

Staring to where Duke's back had been, Keira's eyes softened for the first time. A strange longing swept through her, an emotion she didn't quite understand. Resting an elbow on the table, she sighed. "You're really lucky, you know..." she murmured, but trailed off. The only family she had ever had left to find his calling in life. He said he would come back to give her a home and never did.
Sweeping a lock of her jet black hair out of her eyes, she laid her head on her arms. Having a full stomach had made her drowsy, but she didn't want to sleep. Not there. It would be too awkward. Through half-closed eyes, her gaze steadily drifted back to Katsu.

Kastu shrugged,"You wouln't say that if you heard what we've been through. It was not a...humane thing..." Katsu barked out a harsh laughter,"Not that those who did it were fully human." He fell silent as the waiter came back with the change. Katsu stood up,"I suppose you'll want to go now." He didn't really want to remember what happened back then but he did actually want to talk about it. He didn't have anyone though except Momo and Momo lived through it too. Duke wouldn't be a good person to tell either. Now that Razu was gone there was no one to talk about it.

Sibyl, surprisingly calm for having just been involved in a high-end chase that probably hadn't ended yet, tried as hard as she could to casually stroll into the restaurant. She knew she was going to have to use this place as an excuse to hang out while the vampires that'd been following her hopefully lost her trail and didn't follow her here. Even if they did they would have to be civil in a place like this so as not to attract attention from the FBI and have everyone in the restaurant executed since everyone seemed to be easily spooked these days, not always something that worked in favour for others since it just became absolute chaos.
She politely stood off to the side so that no one would be able to see her through the windows of the restaurant and waited for a waitress or a waiter to come approach her and seat her as soon as possible. Soon enough a snooty waitress approached her and looked her over and clearly considered Sibyl to be a joke as opposed to a serious customer. She glanced the wolf over once more and cocked her eyebrow at her before she asked her if she was lost.
"No, I'm not lost. I'm here to get some dinner."
The waitress visibly rolled her eyes at Sibyl and said, "We don't serve poor kids that beg for food."
Sibyl held back a growl at this attrocious woman's comment since it was clearly in accordance to her ethnic background and calmly stated. "Either get me a seat so I can order something for dinner or I'm going to have to ask for your manager and file a law suit against this place for inproper conduct and an institution supporting the untasteful practice of racism. If you don't understand what that means it means I'll get you fired and on top of that I'll get this restaurant shut down because, in fact, I have inherited a swelling amount of money from my parents and I will use it to see that you learn your place."
The waitress looked frightened, knowing that her manager and the owner of this establishment would kill her if this girl wasn't lying. Of course, she was most likely bluffing but she couldn't take the chance so she seated the girl by herself at a table in the back corner of the restaurant where there were no windows. She quickly took the woman's drink order and left her there.
Sibyl looked over the menu for what there was to eat but since she really hadn't come here to eat her eyes wandered over the words restlessly as her thoughts distracted her from actually reading what was right in front of her face. She decided to set the menu down for a moment and just stretch out and calm her nerves. She was lucky that she'd made it to this place and hadn't been double teamed by those two vampires but the real reason she'd ran from them had not been because she was concerned they would be able to efficiently double team her but because she didn't want to find that van again. That was the last thing on earth she wanted to find at this moment.
