I have seen the play and film version of "Almost Famous", I'll always prefer the film. I loved the film more because I like movies more than plays. I also believe the film is the perfect example of the Y2k era, since it is when it came out.

Yes, I have seen a variety of live theatre performances. Some of these include off-Broadway plays and musicals while others were high school and college performances. The most recent musical I saw on Broadway was Hadestown. I enjoy the range of genres in theatre comedy, drama, and everything in between.

The last play I read for school was "Fiddler on the Roof." This play is a musical, so reading it was less enjoyable than watching or listening. However, reading the text made it easier to analyze the author's words without being influenced by the director's or actors' interpretations.

I have seen many musical drama productions, and enjoy them. One thing that is interesting is how different productions can interpret a work differently. I have seen the film adaptations of certain movies that stray greatly from the theatre production.

I have almost no experience with opera or ballet. I know that the script of an opera is called a libretto, and even when people closely follow it they have a hard time following the story of an opera. I wonder if operas have a different structure than other dramas.

I have watched the movie adaptation of Romeo and Juliet. I prefer stage production because it is easier to understand Shakespearean English when the actor is in front of you. Some productions take place in a modern setting making the story easier to understand.

If school plays count, then yes, I've seen a professional drama performance.
Unfortunately, I can't remember the last play I've read. It was most likely Romeo & Juliet
I have seen musical dramas before but nothing major.
I know what opera and ballet are, but I have never attended a show
I haven't watched any film or play adaptations yet.

Yes, I've attended many plays, specifically Broadway plays, I always go with my mom to them. My favorite play I've seen is Little Shop of Horrors. I loved the characters in this play and the drama was so interesting, definitely one of my favorites I've seen so far.

The last play I read was for this class. It was the play Hospice. I really enjoyed reading it. I thought it was very interesting to read and even though it was sad I did enjoy the message that not everything is perfect and can be fixed.

I have seen a musical drama before and it was Little Shop of Horrors, which is also one of my favorite plays. The musical has a lot of dark humor but there are also intense emotional moments, so it's considered a musical comedy that includes drama in it. I do enjoy going to see musicals.

I don't have any experience with operas but would be very interested to attend one. But i do have experience with ballet but not much. When i was a kid me and my family would go see the nutcracker in radio city during the Christmas season, I always looked forward to it

Yes, I watched the film adaptation of Romeo and Juliet by Baz Luhrmann. I enjoyed the film format more because the modern visuals and setting made the story easier to connect with. The emotions felt more intense through close-ups, music, and dramatic scenes that aren’t possible on stage.

I've never been to a professional drama performance before, so I haven't had the chance to experience live theater, opera, or ballet in person. I can only imagine how immediate and energetic an actual live performance mist be.

The most recent play I real was "The Cuban Swimmer,' and it left a strong impression on me with its portrayal of determination and commitment through the main character. The play effectively captures the physical and emotional journey of overcoming obstacles.

I haven't seen any musicals, operas, or ballet yet. Although I haven't experienced these art forms directly. I personally curious about how music and movement can enhance storytelling in way that is different from traditional drama. However, I have seen several TV adaptations of other works and found them very enjoyable. For instance, I watched "Cobra kai," which is derived from "The Karate Kid" movies, as well as "The Walking Dead, " inspired by comic books. These adaptions appeal to me because they can explore longer and more detailed narratives than the original versions. With more time available on television shows, there is greater opportunity for character development and how they evolve over multiple episodes.

I also really loved Hospice, I love how it didn't go too much into the deeper emotional conversation until the middle to end. That made the play more slow burn, which I like better. The play showed the state of mind of both Alice and Jenny so genuinely and carefully.

I also love how all three: theater, comedy, and drama coincide, Its different than my preferences when it comes to film. I think both comedy and drama, is what makes theater and live shows unpredictable. Unpredictability is what makes theater, musicals etc. more exciting, thrilling, and appealing.
