THROWDOWN - AUGUST 10th, 2018

Opening the show, the audience would be granted with a presence by none other than The Game, Triple H who would spend most of his time running Monday Night WAR along with wife Stephanie McMahon, ruling over an authority. He would appear on Friday Night Throwdown to name a new General Manager, which would be former CWF World Heavyweight Champion and CWF legend Kevin Nash, a former enemy and long time buddy of his. Kevin Nash would then show he had the power in his hands by then going down the card that he had booked for the show, only to be interrupted moments afterwards by Kevin Owens, who believes he is owned a CWF Championship. With the two having a clash of words, Kevin Owens would then be placed in a match for next week's Throwdown with the lineup for this one already being booked.

Afterwards, Asuka would take on Liv Morgan in a singles match. Not making entirely short work of Liv Morgan, Asuka would however, put her away fairly quickly showcasing just how dangerous she is and sending a message to the current CWF Throwdown Women's Champion, Becky Lynch. After that, I got a chance to have a word with Becky Lynch and come the Great American Bash, Becky Lynch says she is definitely ready for Asuka come the Sunday's Pay-Per-View.

After that, Bully Ray would then defend his CWF United States Championship against Sami Zayn, who would invoke his re-match clause after losing the title to Bully at Summerslam, but during his entrance, Sami would be attacked from behind down the entrance ramp by Bully Ray who would batter and weaken Sami Zayn the whole match. After a few moments, Bully would then retain his championship via disqualification after Sami Zayn kicked out of the finish. Beating him once more even after the bell rang, SETH ROLLINS would make the save. Seth Rollins, who is a former TNW:R Heavyweight Champion appeared in the CWF Royal Rumble match back in March, and then came to CWF for one-match only at Bragging Rights against The Beast, Brock Lesnar. Seth Rollins would make the save to Sami Zayn, officially signing to CWF under the main roster, and would look to challenge Bully Ray for the CWF United States Championship at The Great American Bash.

In the main event, Kurt Angle would face a mystery opponent set by Kevin Nash in a number one's contender match for The Undertaker's CWF Championship, as it would be none other than the IT FACTOR himself, Bobby Roode, who was last seen in TNW:R under Triple H's guidance sometime ago, and many would speculate if there was a reason behind Bobby Roode, a former protégé of Triple H being placed in such a high position by Kevin Nash, a long time friend of Triple H. In a long hard fought match, it would be Kurt Angle who would get the victory, and would then have his celebration interrupted by the Deadman himself, to initiate battle come The Great American Bash.
