Sonora continued flying around slowly, searching patiently but attentively for the snitch.
She thought she saw the tell-tale golden glimmer not far and shot after it only to realize it was just the reflection of one of the Hufflepuff posters in the crowd, glittering gold in the sunlight. Embarrassed, Sonora made a sharp turn about, took a place high in the center of the Pitch and restarted her search, careful now about the posters and fan memorabilia in the stands.

After another unsuccessful search, Sonora flew closer towards the ground, away from the distracting glitters of the stadium. She glanced up at the rest of the game, reorienting herself. It seemed like Lavinia was taking the quaffle towards the Hufflepuff goals.
The little break seemed like exactly what she needed-- as soon as Sona had a better layout of where the players were, she noticed a tiny drop of golden color fluttering high in the sky on the Ravenclaw side.

While Jordan was stretching, the he noticed Aidene with the corner of his eye. A chuckle escaped as she called him ‘Not-So-Old Man’, just as she had done in a dueling club meeting earlier this year. “We’ll see about that! But, good luck to you, too. You’ll need it more than I will,” he responded smugly, yet jokingly.
Once the game had started, Jordan was a little slow at going after the quaffle. When Lavinia turned away with the quaffle and headed down the pitch, the seventh year attempted to steal it from her.

Sonora started slow in the direction of the snitch, trying to keep an eye on it with the sun glaring in her eyes. She hadn't noticed Lucas batting a bludger towards her earlier, but she knew the beaters would notice if she went barreling after the snitch before she got too close.

Aha! There it was! Brennie lowered himself against his broom, pushing it to fly fast. A quick glance showed Sonora almost in reach of the snitch, meaning he had to be quick. He bit his lip, but flew faster, hoping he could swipe it.
