nowSERENITY Julian doesn't have that option. They'd turn him away at the door. Anyway, he shrugged off their expectations when he moved out, and that was years ago. If he even had the option of going home-- and he doesn't -- he'd have to buy his way back with obedience to whatever his dad told him to do. So tell 'im to keep going back until they let him in.

Odin, honey.. That isn't how his family works. It's an abacus with John. He marks out the wins and losses, and Julian doesn't have any wins. He's been an embarrassment since birth. And he doesn't.. He doesn't have much time left to turn it around, even if he wanted to. But that.. That kind of conditional "love" isn't healthy anyway. John doesn't love his sons. They're just chess pieces to him.

Lyrca He can change around whatever he wants. He ain't going back to prison once he's out. He's trying like ******** to avoid prison. He never wants to go back there. But he doesn't have the option of just changing the verdict on him as far as his family. Even in the AU where they don't outright disown him, and buy him off so he'll change his name.. He goes into self imposed exile for five years.

So your answer is for Julian.. To try over and over again to get people that don't care about him to let him back in..? For what? To live the years he has left under their thumb if they relent, and to break his parole by getting reported for trespassing when they inevitably don't? Best case scenario, they take him back and marry him off outside the country, where he might be less of an embarrassment. He'd live out the maybe ten years he still has in an arranged marriage, away from everything he knows.

It isn't something I planned. It's something I realized when Hale used a suppressor on him in that thread he made. I hadn't considered it as much as I should..

It happens when he sleeps. He changes things then, or builds things. And sometimes it.. Changes things in the canon, just like the meta does.
