A portal opened next to Rep. But it didn't belong to any of the preset Runic ones. Someone had opened one.

[ Courtyard - Ever ] The vines faded, and for a moment, Ever tipped, swayed, almost lost his balance and then came back into focus. he'd been angry, before. Now, with the pounding of infection in his years, that anger sharpened. He kicked at the zombie, this time, aiming for its knee, intent on driving it to the ground instead of driving it away. BeachAnother shove, this one harder, this one fingers digging in, leaving ragged gouges across fair skin. The others went unnoticed. The girl was going to stop too and then they were going to leave together. It would not be alone. Dmg to Maebe: 8 HP: 28

Tommy- courtyardHe was really much too dizzy to even notice that somebody had approached him, and even when he did notice, he offered the other hunter a weak smile as well, before his brain managed to process that this hunter was not a friendly hunter. Nope, not friendly, at all. The net hit him and he was downed in an instant, the pain as the first electric zap tore through his body enough to actually clear his mind, his eyes widening as he began to thrash beneath it's weight, body jolting and jerking with each course of electricity that rolled through his body. There likely would have been a lot of cursing, if his teeth weren't grit closed so tightly. In the back of his throat, however, there was a definite keening wail of pain as his back arched beneath him, his eyes closing tight. OOC Tommy takes -10 damage. He needs to get himself out. Roll 1d4. If you roll a 4 you are freed, otherwise you continue to take -5 damage. Someone else can help you but they also take -5 damage. Whomever rolls 4 will free him Quote: Tommy:virus counter: 20 hp: 28

And from the shore of the beach a giant net rose, made of pies. Seriously, Otto. Pies.
Really, people should have been impressed by the giant pie net. Unfortunately, nobody in their right mind was watching, except for Gale and Otto. The pies were tied together by string, and surprisingly sturdy. They were also inedible, unfortunately, creating the shape of pies from Fear. It would do its job from preventing people from actually leaving the island out of their right mind, as the next available body of land was around two-hundred days of swimming any direction.
"Okay," said the little girl excitedly, not phased at all by the giant net of pies, "one more thing." Her shadow elongated until it turned into two doors that burrowed upwards. One door was shaped like a gun the other a boomerang. "Go ahead. Someone's waiting for you inside."

Courtyard
On a normal day he might have looked stunned from the words, but unluckily for them this was far from a normal day. "Gale was who brought this freaking thing to us?" Yes he was angry, but not angry enough to cruse. When the cursing started you knew there was something wrong. Looking up, Quinn noticed Shiloh approach and then the words started. "Hey, how about you both calm the hell down." He bit out, his own temper waining on the edges. "We all just had a hell of a day, this isn't time to point fingers." Calm words still with a hint of a nasty tone. Even saying something as innocently stupid as toilet paper with the wrong tone could be taken wrong. "Theres no way i can carry your large butt, Lucky." Not in his current state, anyways. So Shiloh seemed the right choice. Subject: Quinn Virus: 30 HP: 44

A tendril of net grabs a hold of Maebe and pulls her back towards the beach. She is then covered in pies, effectively preventing her from moving any further. Nio Love You can thank Bitti for the pies

[LIGHTHOUSE]
Rep looked up, startled at the flash of light in his peripheral vision that normally heralded a television coming on or some other tech initialising. Instead he found himself staring at a portal. He set his mouth in a thin suspicious line before looking around the room for anyone who could have switched it on, and finding no one, hesitantly stood and made his way over to it.
He was not one to take risks generally, and portals were a huge ******** risk. you could end up anywhere, between worlds, embedded in a wall, any number of things if someone hadn't set the damn thing properly.
Cringing, he reached out a hand to test the thing with a finger, to see if it was open for outgoing travel. If it didn't resist his action, he did the stupid thing anyone on an island of increasingly hostile peers would do, and tried to enter it.

[Courtyard - Horace]He straightened back up. He needed to keep moving, keep helping, to be useful and not such a ******** failure. Otherwise he felt as though he were stretched so tight he might snap. Horace wanted, for just a second, to see Jan and his cool blue eyes and the equally cool emotions. He wanted.. but Jan wasn't here, again, and Horace needed to move before he broke. Breathing deeply, he zeroed in on anywhere he could do something. His hands reached out to tug at the runic net on Tommy, the ropes burning into his hands, laying out criss-cross patterns and he yanked harder. Quote: COUNTER: 29 HP: 45/50 RUNIC: dagger

[ Dorms -> Courtyard ]His attempts had grown futile (his arms had gotten tired of trying). Koume's voice was simply gone once again, leaving behind the white noise of her absence. They would have had to have gotten out of the vines another way if it weren't for them receding on their own accord. There was relief and safe thoughts for a fleeting moment before the final stages of infection struck him with a heavy blow.
Milo's mind went a mile a minute, a rush of foreboding and symptoms. So fast, so quick like the vines' retreat. He staggered backwards and lifted a hand to his nose when he felt the blood trickle. His eyes stung but only briefly before everything went black. His body didn't even have a chance to fall to the ground before he snapped back away.
Or, not Milo really. Not all together, something that looked like him but was not there in mind. And that something that needed to get the the courtyard. Milo's body moved on reflex and made its way out of the dorms finally, looking for what it seeked.Quote: hey, anyone wanna get attacked? haha... aha Quote: HP: 50/50 Virus Counter: 79 - infected

courtyard -> beachShiloh's entire temper tantrum was regarded with an unimpressed stare. For once, he didn't even have to exert himself trying to talk. There was a simple, one word answer to all of Shiloh's problems. "Charlotte." "What do you want me to do? They're sick, we're sick. I've got a roll of bandages left, maybe I can tie one of them down with it." This was all coming off extremely sarcastic. As for the rest, he offered a bloody smile, unable to put up a true fight when Shiloh began dragging him upright by the collar. "Nobody's coming to save us. We're on our own. I haven't seen a single division leader since the alarms went off." With no better options, he grudgingly wrapped his arms around Shiloh's neck and restrained himself from tightening his grip any with whatever remained. He gave Quinn a sidelong glance from where he was leaning on Shiloh. "Little late for that... don't you think?" [ Courtyard -> Beach ]Everything seemed to be going fairly well, all things considered. Lucky did not appear to be particularly inclined to respond - which was fair, because she had made a very indisputable series of points - and the vines looked like they might have begun to recede for some reason. Feeling more confident about their chances, Mimsy turned to Robert. "Do you see any options of escape now? Any direction in which we might be able to venture to safety?" Remembering that Lucky's excellent decision-making had granted him a higher vantage point than either of them had at the moment, her attention returned to her brother, only to see him trying to leave again. She pressed her hands against the sides of her head and clenched fistfuls of her hair in stunned frustration as she began to follow. "ARE YOU SERIOUSLY-- HONESTLY--" Virus Counter: 28 HP: 56

Otto opened his eyes. Virus or not, his smile, his grin, was nothing but proud and pleased. His wish came true! They looked delicious! And helpful! He watched in awe as it stopped the oncoming hunters from drowning themselves. It even plucked a pretty pie covered sweetheart from the ocean too. Who was this mysterious maiden... Otto shook his head free of the delirious happiness he'd felt from seeing this happen. The little girl was... He watched in awe as he shadow cast two doors. One, he was never more happy to see. A boomerang. Tenya... was Tenya in there? His heart beat picked up, and he held his breath. He'd never thought he'd miss his weapon so badly. A piece of himself hidden and locked away from him. Was she scared? Mad? Otto let go of the little girl's hand, and headed into the door... Tenya...?
