Dusk just blinked, looking even more confused when the little guy began making little motions indicating he wanted up. The Zoroark found himself picking up the Riolu, who immediately began pawing his face and babbling happily.
"Definitely a Fairy-type, then," Shadow noted dryly, watching the chibi-Riolu pretty much wrap Dusk around its paw. "After all, it's about the only type based off sheer cuteness." His lips twitched when Ladon began looking between Dusk and Shadow, eyes somehow demanding to know what the strange thing holding his brother was. "That's your uncle Dusk, kiddo."
Seeming to accept that, Ladon returned to examining Dusk, wariness quickly giving way to curiosity. At the same time, Ember suckled her bottle happily, calming now that she had food.

Trust: 92 (Can You Get Any More Trusting Than This?)
Affection: 100 (Mates for Life)
Trauma: 40 (Scarred)
Restraint: 50 (Neutral)
Level (Approximate): 24
Moveset: Quick Attack (Obscurate-boosted), Metal Claw, Power-Up Punch, Dark Sphere, Metal Sound
Perks:
Big Brother - Shadow has become protective of a Pokémon or person, viewing them as a younger sibling. Trauma and Restraint checks may get bonuses or penalties if said Pokémon or person is involved. Certain checks may even be passed or failed automatically. Current Siblings - Torch the Combusken, Saph the Wartortle

Telepathic Communication: Shadow is capable of communicating with others via telepathy. Should Trust drop below 25, Affection drop below 0, or Trauma rise above 100, he will stop using this ability until the offending stat is corrected.

Human Tongue: Shadow is capable of communicating in English. Should Trust drop below 50, Affection drop below 20, or Trauma rise above 100, he will stop using this ability until the offending stat is corrected.

Stable Aura: Shadow's Aura no longer induces fear in Pokémon, and fellow Dark-types will now automatically view him as a friend, if not borderline worship him. Should Trauma rise above 80, this perk will be lost until it lowers back to 80.

Aura Arsenal (Sub-Perk of Stable Aura): Due to his Aura's new stability, Shadow is now capable of manipulating his Aura, creating Aura-based attacks that do not take up moveslots. Should Stable Aura be lost or otherwise made void, this perk will be disabled as well. Techniques:
- Aura Flare: Shadow flares his aura, dispelling binding/anti-escape moves (Bind, Whirlpool, Mean Look, etc.) and knocking away nearby opponents. Direct damage is negligible, however.
- Aura Skate: Shadow applies Aura to his feet as a sort of padding, allowing him to glide an inch or so above the ground across both liquid and solid surfaces with speeds he normally wouldn't be able to achieve due to friction. This technique also negates the effect of slippery or sticky surfaces. However, Shadow must be in constant motion while using this technique; if he stops, the Aura padding will fail to support his body weight, and he will stop hovering.
- Aura Berserker: Shadow overloads his entire body with Aura, increasing his power and speed to impressive levels and fully healing him at the cost of Defense and Special Defense; in addition, the technique has a time limit of 5 minutes, after which the strain of channeling that much Aura throughout his body will render him unconscious. Attempting to use this technique beyond the five-minute limit may result in severe and potentially lethal injuries. While using this Aura technique, he cannot use Dark Sphere or any other Aura Arsenal techniques with the exception of Aura Flare, since most of his Aura is channeled throughout his body and the rest is leaking out around him. (WARNING - This technique cannot be controlled until Shadow has the following stats: 40 Trauma, 75 Restraint, level 40. Until then, it will only activate under dire circumstances, and it will usually cause him to lose himself to his instincts, making him attack anything he perceives as a threat (and possibly a few things that he doesn't).)

Improvisation: Shadow can now invent unique attacks based off his existing move set, observation of others' attacks, instinct, or outright improvising. If he forgets a move, he cannot use any variations or combinations using that move unless he later remembers said move. Improvised, observation-based, and instinct-based moves take up moveslots, but variation and combination moves do not.
- Dark Sphere (Instinctive): Dark Sphere is similar to Aura Sphere, but is super-effective against Psychic-types and Ghost-types, normally effective against Dark-types, and even less effective than a normal Aura Sphere against Fairy-types. Should Trauma rise above 60, Shadow will become incapable of using it due to the corresponding increase in his Aura's instability.
- Power-Up Pummel (Combination - Power-Up Punch and Quick Attack/Extreme Speed): Shadow combines the speed of a Quick Attack with the fury of a Power-Up Punch, unleashing a flurry of initially weak punches that grow stronger with each hit. (Note: This move can be adapted to fit with other punching moves.)
- Fastball (Combination - Punching/kicking move and Dark Sphere): Shadow creates a Dark Sphere, then punches or kicks it instead of throwing it. This not only boosts the Dark Sphere's speed and power (albeit at the cost of the lock-on feature), but also imbues it with some of the power of the punch/kick used - for example, a Fire Punch will imbue it with fire energy, a Power-Up Punch will make it even stronger, and so on.

Aura Tutor: Shadow is now capable of teaching Trinity and other Pokémon to use Aura. The ones that have the highest chance of being able to learn from him are Fighting-types and Pokémon capable of learning Aura Sphere. Students: Trinity

Mega Evolution (Deactivated): You have a Key Stone and Dark Lucarionite. At ≥90 Trust, ≥90 Affection, ≤50 Trauma, and ≥25 Restraint, Shadow can Mega Evolve.

Enhanced Memory: Shadow can remember more moves than most Pokémon due to the enhancements forced on him. A larger memory could theoretically be added, but exact details are unknown. Current Extra Moveslots: 1

Trinity puts away the now empty bottles before going to change. She came back quickly to pick up Ember. Her eyes straying over to Dusk's paws holding Yosei. "Do you think it's safe to stay in the cave for at least one more day?" She asked the two.

Dusk considered the question. "...It's easily defensible, has a water supply nearby if we need it. A little out of the way, too, so Team Rocket's not likely to find it in the first place. I suppose we can stay one more day." He then became rather distracted as Yosei began pawing at his nose and cooing.
Shadow nodded in agreement with the Zoroark trainer, smiling softly to his children as he similarly picked up Ladon, the little Dragon-type back to gnawing on his paw.

Trinity relaxed hearing that they could stay for a day.
Dita woke up and heard the happy cooing. She nudged Rex awake, "Trinity gave birth." She whispered.

Rex blinked groggily as he awoke, then brightened as he processed Dita's words. "Eh? The babies are here? Well, c'mon, let's go see 'em!" He picked Dita up and hurried to join the others, excited to see the newborn Riolu.
Naturally, all three of the little tykes turned to see the commotion when Rex barged in rather noisily. Shadow shook his head in exasperated amusement as Rex burst into the room, practically bouncing on his feet with Dita in his arms. "Ladon, Yosei, Ember, this lunatic is your Uncle Rex, and the Kirlia he's holding is your Auntie Dita, who keeps him in line," he informed his children, ignoring Rex's yelp of protest. "Rex, this is Ladon, the one currently pawing at Dusk is Yosei, and the one Trinity has is their sister Ember."
The mystery of the strange new-things solved, Yosei waved hello, babbling happily. Ladon quite seriously began climbing up onto his father's head, plopping down on his little butt once he reached the top, and Ember started squirming in her mother's arms, wanting down so she could go examine the strange new Unka-Wrecks-thing and Anty-Deetah-thing. Obviously they weren't a threat if Dada-thing and Mama-thing weren't attacking them, but she was curious.

Trinity hesitated before placing her new daughter on the ground. The young female riolu crawled over to her aunt and uncle. Quickly, Trinity was following the young one.
Dita wiggled out of Rex's arms to stand. She walked over to Ember and picked up the young one. "Hello there. Your mama was worried about having you but you and your brothers came out fine." Dita said as she showed Rex Ember.
Trinity smiled at Dita before picking Yosei from Dusk's hands. She kissed Yosei's little nose. "I love them." She said to Shadow.

Shadow just smiled softly to Trinity. "Yes, they're absolutely adorable, aren't they? I'd kiss you, but I seem to have a Riolu on my head and don't want to risk dislodging him," he noted.
Ladon nodded in agreement from atop his Daddy's head, then grabbed one of the strange appendages attached to said head, showing it to his Mama. "Daba badaba," he informed Trinity quite seriously, waving it slightly for emphasis and unwittingly making Shadow wince slightly, though the Lucario's smile didn't drop. "Ba ba?"
Yosei babbled just as happily to his mother as he had to everyone else. He just loved all these new talky-things! They were all so interesting and fun!
Rex beamed to Ember, the Riolu relaxing and looking the childish Rock-type specialist over curiously. "Hiya, Ember! I'm your Uncle Rex, but then your daddy already mentioned that. You and me and your brothers and Dita are going to have so much fun together!" Between him and Yosei, it was hard to tell who was babbling more, amusingly enough.

Trinity smiled before walking right to Shadow. She slowly pulled down his head then kissed him. Yosei cooed seeing what his mama and daddy were doing. Ladon held on surprisingly well while still playing around with his daddy's appendage.
Ember giggled from Dita's arms at Rex. "She is adorable." Dita said nuzzling the little Riolu.

Shadow was more than happy to return the kiss, ignoring the adventurous Riolu on his head for the moment (though he was still careful not to dislodge the little guy).
Rex nodded enthusiastically; if any onlookers didn't know any better, then they'd think he needed to lay off the coffee. "I know, right? All three of 'em are absolutely adorable!" Of course, he privately thought that any babies Dita had would be even more adorable... and then wondered where that came from. And why he suddenly had the urge to strangle someone at the idea of Dita having a baby with some random guy. After a moment, he just chalked it up as "one of those weird things my brain does that I don't get" and went back to cooing over Ember.

Dita smiled up to Rex. "You want to hold her?" She asked offering up the young one for him. She knew he would want to.
Trinity pulled back and stepped back, "Better?" She asked as she cradled Yosei better. Trinity looked down to the adorable Riolu. She then placed Yosei in Shadow's arms to pull Ladon off his daddy's head. "Hello sweatheart." She said to the dragon type.

Shadow smiled to Yosei, who cried out happily at the sight of his daddy, babbling and pawing at the Lucario playfully.
Ladon looked up at his mother curiously, sniffing her, before starting to lick Trinity in what was probably some instinctive attempt at grooming... though frankly, it looked more like a puppy licking its human or something.
Rex beamed in reply, eagerly taking the little female Riolu and mimicking the way the others had held her, continuing to chatter at her as Ember giggled at the silly Unka-Wrecks-thing.

Trinity giggled as Ladon licked her. She pulled back to wipe her face off before she kissed his forehead. She offered him some milk from the bottle. "You are a curious one." She said sitting herself down. She was still tired from giving birth.
Dita walked over to Trinity to see Ladon but also to check on the female trainer.

Shadow chuckled as Yosei proceeded to start gnawing on his own paw, obviously copying Ladon; of course, since the little guy didn't have any teeth yet, it didn't hurt him. On a mischievous impulse, he proceeded to lick the little Riolu's nose teasingly, causing the tiny Fairy-type to giggle and bat at the offending tongue.
Ladon accepted the offered milk, chugging it down greedily; clearly he was going to have quite the appetite when he grew up. Upon seeing Dita, he looked over curiously, though his little paws refused to let go of the bottle.
Rex... was still busy chattering to an amused-looking Ember.

Trinity giggled at how much he was chugging, "Calm down. I have more." She said to the hungry Riolu. She looked at Dita. "Hey dita. Thanks for checking on me." The trainer said grateful. Dita nodded, "it is no problem." The fairy type said as she moved her skirt when she saw Ladon looking at her. The fairy decided to put on a little show. She started a ballerina dance. She remembered when some of the female scientists would watch late night contests. The Kirlia remembered seeing a kirlia dance like so while flaring fairy power. She could do that right now with the dragon type in front of her but she did use magical leaf. The leafs glittered and circled her. Trinity watched amazed.
It caught Ember's attention quickly while Yosei figured he could copy daddy. He happily licked Shadow's nose as he wagged his tail.

Ladon and Ember watched the show with interest, one staring intently while chugging his milk and the other gnawing on her paw silently as she watched.
Rex was watching Dita's graceful dance with enough intensity for her to actually feel him staring, eyes glued to the graceful Kirlia and brain currently 99.9% devoted to searing the image into his mind forevermore, even if he wasn't sure why... though by now, a few suspicions were starting to seep through even his dense skull. (For those wondering, the other .1% of his brain was currently making sure not to drop Ember, since Trinity would demand his head on a silver platter if he did... and Shadow would probably give it to her.)
The Lucario laughed a little at the ticklish feeling of Yosei licking his nose back, resulting in Yosei giggling and licking Daddy's nose even more. Then Yosei caught sight of the pretty Kirlia dancing, the little guy giggling and clapping as he watched.
Shadow glanced over to see what had his son's attention, looking rather impressed with Dita's dancing.
