THE GREAT GERBIL RACE
Trolls have one last chance to support their favorites before the gerbils cross the finish line!
Trolls must commit to supporting one gerbil for this show. No more than three trolls can support the same gerbil. You do not need to support a gerbil that you have in the past or used your betting token on!
Every 15 minutes, the mule will post a lap of the race. There will be four laps total, and at 7:00 the event will be over. The mule will calculate the total number of gerbpoints among ALL racers, and will then roll to determine 1st place, 2nd place, and so on.
EVERY LAP: At the beginning of the lap, the mule will post a writing prompt describing the type of cheer or action your troll can employ to win over the hearts of the public and give your gerbil some last oomph as the race goes on. If you successfully meet the requirements of the writing prompt within the 15 minute period, your gerbil will receive 1 gerbpoint! The writing tasks will be simple so as to fit into the 15 minute window per lap, but creativity and quick thinking may be rewarded!Example prompt: The gerbil race is mayhem! Gerbils are bumping into each other every which way, and a dirt cloud has formed that surely obscures their vision! What can your troll say or do (while staying out of the gerbil track area as per NummCorp rules) to lead your gerbil back on track? This prompt requires two sentences minimum and should be in third person past tense.Example entry: Ganyma barreled through children and more children to reach the stands directly behind the finish line. "FOLLOW MY VOICE!" he shouted while waving his arms above his head. "YOU CAN DO IT, ROCKY!" [b]Fire the starting gun![/b]

FIRST LAP:The starting gun fires! The gerbils shuffle in place. Some shuffle backwards. Some shuffle forwards. The volume of the crowd is immense! And, it is your duty as part of the mob to keep the spirit going. And a great way to help spirit? With a gerbil related cheer! Think of the zingiest, catchiest, maybe words spelled in a pattern cheer for your gerbil. D-D-D-D-FENSE! Something that the crowd will join in on! There is no wordcount requirement for this prompt, but you can only use one cheer per troll so CHOOSE WISELY! You can also RP your troll saying the cheer if there are arm movements/pom pom movements/horn movements associated with it. Gooooo, GERBILS! GO!

Seeing her two gerbabes start to wander off the course, Vremea decided to focus on Mercedes-- She loved her two babes very much, but if she just picked one it would seem unfair of her. She looked toward the crowd and quickly began to spell out Mercedes name with her hands as well chant a random tune. Honestly, she looked quite ridiculous. "HEY MERCY YOU'RE SO FINNE YOU'RE SO FINE YOU BLOW MY MIND HEY MERCY, HEY, HEY, HEY MERRRCYYY!!" She chanted, a random tune that slid into her thoughts as she wiggled her rump and strived to get the gerbil to MOVE.

A cheer huh? Mili grinned and wrote down the words on her white board. Running to the front of the line, the little troll held up her sign and started swinging it around, back and forth, to catch others attention.

Frowning at the trolls crowded around her, Etsali realized no one was going to pay much attention to her cheering from where she was. It took a moment to find something to climb up for added height, but soon she had a better view and the perfect spot to start her chant!
"EEEELCAPN! WIN WIN WIN!" It wasn't terribly inspired, perhaps, but chant it enough and it was pretty catchy!

Lunear was careful. He'd tried his hardest to be respectable, polite, formal. Not as... full of outbursts as other trolls had seen him in the past. Yet here he was. in a mob of miscreants. He held it in until the starting gun was fired, (alas no dead trolls could be seen- as waste of a possible assassination of a rival), and then-
"MARIAN! MAR-I-ANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN! MAR THE TRACK WITH YOUR SPEED, I AND WE DO BELIEVE, 'AN OUR HEARTS SHOW UP THOSE DUMB FARTS! MAR-I-AN! ALL HAIL!" Lunear had pulled out his secret weapon. The metal rod extended- the flag raised. A lovely drawing of Marian on the royal banner waved back and forth.
Someone was trying to hard to quell any notion he'd worked with rebels once.
