The path apparently looped around on itself somewhere in the code of the game. Dream. Game. Okay he was just going to think of it as a game, even if it was a dream, because it looked like a game and it acted like a game and it had game rules. And if it were a normal dream and not a game, he'd be more like himself in the real world. Probably. Maybe. He didn't like the lack of smells but he did like the colors, and the avatar was comfortable in a way that being awake wasn't.

Okay so progress was being made....Wiz started to jog, heading in the direction of the dreaded up sign...

This time, the path he followed was lined with softly glowing fungi, and it ended in a clearing with a new sign in it. EVERYWHERE, the sign said, and Fang frowned at it for a while. Was that a puzzle? Was it supposed to mean something? He was bad at puzzles, and the sign didn't seem to be pointing everywhere.
Eventually he shrugged and pushed through the trees in the direction that t he sign was pointing, because, if nothing else, that had worked for the rest of the quest, even if it had taken a few tries.

Walking around the woods Ash came to a stop in front of a sign post. Indicating... That she's here. Very informative, so very useful, she thought with a snort. Since it indicated only one direction, she decided to follow it.

Making a beeline between the trees while following the elusive path, the Cheshire cat came across another sign post. indicating only one direction as well. But wasn't that the direction she came from? She decided to follow it anyway, moving onwards.

The ghoul had taken to counting all the shades of purple the trees were taking on when she arrived at a sign saying "up anywhere". Now, that was a bit more original. She took a direction and wandered around.
