The feeling of those cold finger tips warmed the albino's heart and face. The trace of encouragement felt welcomed and quenching, like Pan had been thirsty for it for the longest time, even though he wasn't actually thirsty at all. He smiled and stood back up. Looking into the redhead's eyes, he leaned in for one reciprocated kiss to his and forehead. " Hide for now and get somewhere safe... I'll come back for you... " he smiled.
And then, Pan was off. He only started jogging along the forest line to sneak quietly until he was far enough from Carpo to where they couldn't get near him. Out of Carpo's view, he could probably hear loud crack of branch and then see some of the guards turn to investigate. Two soldiers and all the dogs went to the sound. The other groups dispersed inside but two remained outside to stand guard of the entrance.
To Pan's surprise, after he purposefully broke off a branch to get their attention, the first to arrive were the dogs. Having remembered to bring it, he used his helmet. When he hid up in the tree, he expected the dogs to immediately find him, but they didn't. On closer inspection the dogs weren't real, but instead were robotic hounds. Pan leapt farther into the woods when the strange hybrid looking dog appeared. It was caramel in color and the fur on its head was mangy. Its chest and front paws were stout and hefty much like a bulldog's, but its paws were grotesquely long and jointed oddly. Pan's chest choked a bit when he figured out what "kind" of dog this was.
With no time to really feel remorseful, since the hybrid could follow his scent and lead the robot dogs to follow, he stopped at an embankment of a rushing river to lure the hybrid out. Instead of fighting it, Pan saw one opportunity to leap and shove the beast into the flowing current. Then there were the robot dogs, which seemed easy enough until their jowls split in two and bore serrated, knife-like teeth with a one small red light from inside and out shot a hot laser singeing the ground and towards Pan. Both dogs opened their mouths and Pan tried dodging. Pan leapt to hold on to one of the dogs and in a state of panic, threw it at the other. It seemed to work when both crashed into one another and toppled in the river. They weren't pulled by the currect, but whomever created the dogs didn't make the water-proof. Go figure.
Pan sighed in relief for just a moment when the other two guards finally caught up. The two soldiers were about to reach for their comm-links when Pan's body began to react on instinct. Before one could call for back up and the other could fire his gun, Pan struck one in the neck and kicked the other upside the temple, knocking both out. Pan thought he heard bones break in one of them, and felt guilty for the damage he just caused, but he remembered Carpo waiting for him and started undressing the two guards as quickly as possible.

Carpo almost protested when the other told him to hide, but that smile... it stopped him in his tracks. He wouldn't dare ruin that mood just so he could feel more useful. And so he hid as best he could, backing into a bush and pulling up his hood to hide his bright red hair. It wasn't perfect, but it was better than standing out in the open. Plus, it was warmer in there, which helped keep him from shivering quite as much. Pulling his knees to his chest, he waited patiently in his hiding spot, like a fawn would it's mother. It was quiet for a long while, his breathing and the wind the only noise to be heard. And then suddenly, there were footsteps. Carpo adjusted himself slightly, so that he could peer out from the bush and confirm that it was Pan and not some random guard. No matter which way he moved himself though, he couldn't seem to catch sight of whoever was making the noise. "Pan..?" He whispered in voice so low and quiet that he wondered if Pan would be able to hear it, even with his enhanced hearing.. The whisper was met with silence and Carpo moved to open his mouth again, only to release a yelp as the back of his hoodie was suddenly grabbed and lifted upwards. Immediately he moved to remove it, so as to escape his captor. Before he could though, he felt himself be spun around with his face shoved into someone's chest. For a second he thought it was Pan, but then he felt cold steel on the side of his head. "I'm going to turn you around for presentation reasons, okay? If you so much as let out a peep though, I'll blow your brains out and leave nothing but a bloodstain for Pan to find, got it?" Carpo nodded into his chest and, when the man went to move him, he did not make a noise... He did, however, try to maneuver himself to steal the gun, only to be met with light knock on the head with the butt of it. "Don't try me," the man warned before finishing the turn. And now....now Carpo was panicking... Pan returned moments later, gear in tow... "Why hello there Pan. I was hoping we could have a short talk." Carpo swore he could hear the smile on the man's face as he pressed the gun harder against his temple and forced them out so that Pan could see.

Pan gathered the suits and helmets in his arms when he heard a disturbance in breeze of Carpo calling his name. With his stomach sinking and all the choices he's made at this point flooding over him like a wash of regrets, he bolted through the trees to the scene with Carpo and the stranger. He dropped the clothes along the way and powerful legs came to halting stop just a few meters in front of them.
Pan heard the figure speak and didn't move. He kept his helmet on but only held his palms out calmly. "Let him go..." he muttered calmly. Possible scenarios began filling the albino's mind of what this man wanted to do. The most obvious was probably him turning the boys in.
His magenta eyes scanned over the two figures ensnared together and Pan only grew frustrated when he couldn't really decipher the man behind Carpo, since he held his husband in front like a shield.
"We can talk, just please... don't hurt him... " he tried to negotiate. Pan wasn't about to risk an attack when Carpo was at stake. His heart raced like an engine and he could hear its beating in his ears. Feeling so powerful only moments ago, now he felt completely defenseless.

. “Ah... so it is you then. The scientists thought it possible that you might have merged, but I was hoping not. TR really was much more fun that this pathetic weakungly,” the man said, whispering the last part into Carpo’s ear. He then proceeded to push Carpo face first into the snow before planting a foot firmly on his back. As he did so, his full appearance became visible. He had piercing blue, which didn’t stray from Pans even as he made this maneuver. His hair was gray, like a dirtied version of Pans own, and his build also was simplistic to Pans, though it was impossible to tell whether that was because he was also an experiment or merely a person bred to deal with one. Keeping his gun trained on the back of Carpos head, he sighed as if bored. “Calm down. As long as you do what I say I won’t hurt him any more than I already have. In fact, I actually planning on helping him and even letting all his little friends go,” he said, smiling as he felt Carpo wriggle beneath his foot,” you see I came here because I smelled you... and it’s my job to retrieve you. A war is on the horizon and the government wants you back in their possession. Sure they might have to make some tweaks to get that bloodthirsty side if you back, but you are such a valuable asset that they are willing to go through that hassle.” “Pan n-,” Carpo started to protest, just to have his face shoved back into the snow. “Now, I know this is a big decision, but you really should decide fast before little Carpo here gets so sick that he’s beyond saving.”

"... smell?"
Pan murmured. What else could he do? His options seemed pretty scarce with Carpo's face being shoved in the snow. However, something about this man seemed so familiar. His eyes were cold and his features screamed in the back of Pan's memory, but how? AND HOW could these scientist have guessed that Pan would merge with TR?
Well, that didn't seem too important with everything being presented to him. The helmet stayed on as Pan looked back at Carpo's captor's harsh gaze.
"I'll do what you ask... whatever you want.." he sighed, feeling defeated at the circumstance and trying not to let it show. His fist clenched at the sight of Carpo on the ground.
" That is.." he continued. " Until after ALL of my friends are safe. I'm not as much of a pathetic weakling as you think I am... " Pan took three steps forward, making it clear that he could hear anything this man could whisper.
"If I were you, I'd let him up... " This was Pan's way of trying to be intimidating. He pulled the helmet off and tossed it to the ground.

The man grinned at Pan's attempt at intimidation. It was cute watching him try, but Pan just could not induce the same level of fear as TR could. It wasn't even close. The man knew that Pan couldn't have possibly mastered his abilities yet and honestly the white hair just looked innocent without blood speckling it. Nonetheless, he lifted his foot and pulled Carpo up, chuckling as the redhead choked on his collar momentarily. He then pulled the redhead close to him again, breathing in his scent should he lose him at any point. Once the scent was taken in, he let him go and looked to Pan. "There he's all free and better now see? I-," he started, only to frown as he looked to Carpo, who was shivering quite a bit," alright maybe not better or free, but he's fine.. for now. We really should get him inside though. Then I can let your little friends go and we can get started with you." Carpo stood there trembling, his whole body now chilled to the core. He wanted to protest, but he couldn't find the words. All he could do was look to Pan, as if pleading for him to anything other than actually follow this man into the belly of the beast.

Pan moved closer to Carpo and stretched his arms out to embrace him, hoping his body heat would warm the red head a bit. He had a plan to take Carpo in his arms and bolt back to the base. The original plan has failed and running back there to keep Carpo safe seemed like the best option.
But this person before them was the problem. The fact that he had a heightened sense of smell must mean he was similar to Pan, right?
"Who are you? What's in it for you?" still, the man seemed familiar.. somehow. He picked up Carpo in his arms and carried him close.
...Carpo.. What should I do? he thought. His eyes really asked the question but they refused to look his lover in the eye because of how disappointed his must be to see Pan act so obediently to some stranger.

Carpo fell into his arms, happy to feel the warmth and protection that came with his touch. He was nervous and confused. What did this man mean when he said that he wanted Pan for a war. A war with whom? Was it with the country Leona was from? Had the government somehow backtracked his hacking? And what would happen to Pan if he did give in? Would he revert back to TR? Would he ever come back to him? Shivering in his arms, Carpo, too, kept his eyes turned away from Pan, though he did so out of disappointment in himself rather than disappointment in Pan... They never would’ve ended up in this situation if he had just stayed behind.... “I’m Ymir. Also known as TW 34987 I23. And what’s in it for me is merely your return. The government wants you back and therefore I want you back,” he said as he looked to Pan, readying himself to chase should the other try to run,” the rebel group is hardly a threat as is and fixing Carpos condition would help secure your obedience. There’s no secret agenda here.”

" I don't trust you..." Pan made clear. The fact that this man knew who Carpo was must mean he was being fed information directly from the scientists inside. Carpo's safety was the number one priority right now and Pan didn't think going back to the base would be the best idea. This man could easily follow him to the other base where Alpha and Rene were still hiding. That was not an option.... or was it?
"But it doesn't seem like I have much of a choice." Pan bent down and picked up the helmet to place it over Carpo's head and still he cradled it his head to his chest. " If anyone here sees him, they'll kill him. Should they see him and hurt him in any form, the deal is off..."
"Or.." he started, " if you give me twenty minutes with him alone, I can take him somewhere safe. And then you'll have my undivided attention... He'd be one less liability for you. And from your name, I can figure from your name that I can't run from you, so you'd know I'd come back. But if not, I follow you now and you have to guarantee me his safety..." Pan pleaded calmly, holding Carpo closely, Pan's eyes glistened brighter before TW. If Ymir granted him the time, Pan would be willing to risk exposure to ensure Carpo's safety.

“They won’t kill him or hurt him because if they do so, I would have to kill or hurt them,” Ymir said in a matter of fact way as he walked closer,” you see my bosses would very much like to earn your trust. Prove to you that our intentions are not as malicious as you think. And what better way to do that then to free your friends and fix your liver,hm?” He paused for a moment in his steps and Pan could hear a murmur come from beneath Ymirs hair, likely from an earpiece. He then smiled and focused back on Pan. “You see we know Carpos blood type and all about his condition. His heart is a ticking time bomb, ready to explode and we happen to have a fix for that. A man recently died in an accident and is lying in a vegetative state. His heart could improve Carpos life and extend it. We’d even let you perform the surgery if you wished, considering you are a doctor and all,” he said, just to frown as Carpo shook his head. He hoped Pan would ignore that and take what was honestly a very gracious offer. They should be killing Carpo and keeping his friends locked up. They had already tried that method though and, while it did help unlock TR, it also resulted in Pan running off..

All of Carpo's fears were playing exactly how the government wanted. Those words were so enticing to Pan. To help Carpo get a new heart was the dream Pan wanted... but he remembered Carpo's constant disdain for the idea. Pan frowned and he nuzzled his head against the helmet. Pan wasn't a complete fool... but he was scared for his lover's safety. So he had an idea.
" If what you say is true? I think you need to prove yourself. Disregard what they tell you on the ear piece you're wearing and bring me the dead body of the guard with the O- blood type by the riverbed. " he spoke eerily calm. He didn't kill the guards, Pan probably broke some bones but he knew only knocked them out.
"Of course, if your boss doesn't want you to. Then you have to give me the 20 minutes I asked for..." Pan eyed the man wearily, watching his movements closely and eyeing every step he took with his dreamy pink eyes.

Putting his fingers to the ear piece, he listened as the scientist told him that they couldn’t be sure whether or not the men were dead, since Pan had stripped them of their clothes before he left. Without the suits there was no way to tell for sure. It made no difference to him either way. He had no stake in the life of a guard who likely would die of hypothermia anyways. He’d readily kill him if need be, but he would not readily leave Pan alone. It was too much of a hassle to have to re-track and chase him. And they were running out of time. This war was right on the horizon and they needed Pan ready to go.
“Fine. I give you permission to use our dead guard, but you are coming with me to retrieve it,” he said simply as he holstered his gun,” There’s nothing stopping you from coming and I am not leaving you behind so that you can turn tail and run while I am not looking. One because I don’t want to chase you and two because if you run you will be harder to reprogram.”
With that, he turned in the direction and started to walk. “Come on. We haven’t got all day. It sounds like his heart will blow from the stress any second now,” he taunted as Carpos heart did indeed quicken in pace, a bit of panic overcoming him at this whole situation.

Since Pan didn't actually know if either guard had that particular blood type, he was taking a serious risk of a distraction if TW could smell blood types. Is that even possible?
Pan carried Carpo close to his chest and followed behind the other man. He gave his reasonings and the last bit made him decide. He glanced down at Carpo once more and stayed close behind TW.
The lot of them walked out of dense woods and back into the embankment by the river. Pan didn't go far from TW's side, and he remained quiet for the time being... until Pan's back up plan came into play. Whatever TW was doing, most likely picking up and examining the soldiers, beside them was a low, gutteral, growl. Out of the water was the caramel beast Pan had tossed in the river moments before and it was eyeing both the white haired albino, and the grey haired captor. The beast looked confused and initially crouched low towards Pan,its hair raised on its back, causing Pan to back up slowly.
But then it caught a glance at TW's holstered gun. Heavy and powerful shoulders with fat jaws lunged forward, ready to hold on and bite hard at the gun. The beast, having no keeper now to control it, couldn't tell between friend or foe. Both men had white hair and TW was closer, a bigger threat.
Stuck on all fours, the creature could almost look like a human, but it's head and back legs were so disproportionate, it was clear that this creature was a failure of what TW and Pan are. Its mouth drooled and eyes were red. It swat its disjointed claws at TW, attempting to draw blood.
Regardless of what happened with the dog hybrid, Pan seemingly disappeared.
