"Of the same hex or a different one?" asked the King as he looked at Len before his eyes turned to the pages of the book and flipping through a few before returning them to the original page that had the first hex in it.

"Any of em, it doesn't matter." he said to the king still in awe that he was able to get at least one hex down so quickly so he was curious to see how far he would get with more then one.

Beck nodded and looked at a few spells before putting his finger on one and straining his eyes a bit as he slowly pronounced it. After repeating the hex a few times he looked at another tree and instead of pointing his palm towards it, extended only a finger towards it as he has read before saying a loud "Arcana wagnera." His hand was engulfed in the familiar blue rings of a hex before bursting towards the tree and then slowly fading. Beck blinked before jumping as a loud explosion would ring out.

Len jumped as well he just blinked still in astonishment. He looked at Beck mouth agape. "Your highness...I don't think you need a teacher." He finally said to him.

Beck looked at Len again and replied "Are you sure? I think these were just pure luck." He ended the statement with a light chuckle before rubbing the back of his head.

"Pretty damn lucky if you ask me, that one took me a day and a half to do." Len said to the King. He looked at him then. "You are being far too modest you got a lot of talent. But if you are sure try another spell?"

Beck nodded and took a deep breath before looking over the book and flipping a few pages before pointing his hand towards a third tree. With a deep breath he looked at the hex one more time. "Fira Renkin, 8-palm." he said and swung his hand to form a triangle in the air before finishing the hex as he cut in half. Instead of the blue ring that would appear, he saw that it was instead replaced with being red and began to spin in a circle before 4 large fireballs appeared and flew towards the tree, spinning forward and backwards. The rings latched onto the tree as the fireballs broke into two smaller versions and spun around the tree before going to a set location. With a bright and explosive heat, the pillars dissappeared as they formed a large pillar of flames.

Len stood back even ore and shielded his eyes from the flames and he just blinked he looked at Beck clearly still astonished. "Damn Your majesty." was all he could really say about it but he definitely had a lot more respect for the man now that he knew what Beck could do.

Beck let out a small sigh. "Damn indeed." He slowly looked at the book and responded "...I don't like learning from just a damn book..."

Len blinked at him in confusion then. "What do you mean?" He understood the point of what Beck said but was still curious as to why he said it to begin with.

"Books don't have shortcuts. Just step by step instructions. The words don't have stories or situations into how these hexes could be used or not used." a small sigh escaped the King as he looked at the cover of the book.

"Well that's just the basics your majesty in time you will get clarification about the shortcuts. Though now that I know how quick you are...maybe you don't even need that book I could just show you one hex after the other and see if you can mimic me?"

Beck looked at Len with a smile. "Ya, I think that would be cool." The King walked towards the Hexmaster and handed him the book. "I'd like to try that."

Len nodded as he took the book back and put it in his sack. "I guess then I'll show you a few things and we can go from their then." Skip Five Day's: Tray was back at he keep watching as the new recruits walked towards the palace gates she stood out front on her horse watching them as they were all approaching she could not help but frown this was nowhere near what they had when they were rebelling against Viktor so she was disappointed she had hoped to have something better for Beck once he returned.
