The temporary quiet had been broken by a youma heading in his direction, although Athene had managed to dispatch it by the simple mechanism of whacking it with a nearby chair.

It had seemed like a good idea to move at that point, although Athene had first untied and then awkwardly retied his two sashes, so that the material mostly covered the area where the spear-wielding Nega General had cut him.

A nearby flash of shimmering blue caught the dark-haired senshi's eye and he headed cautiously in its direction, warily at first – at least until the blue resolved itself into a rather familiar Page. “Evening Nysa” it was nice to see someone who wasn’t out to try and kill him, it was even better that the face belonged to someone familiar.

With everything that was happening, it was possible to lose one's self in the fight. He'd been in combat before, sure, but it didn't involve killing kids. Part of him wondered if it was fate's cruel joke to have thrown him into such a mess. Hell, he wondered if he even wanted to do this anymore once it was over. Why would he if it just resulted in more casualties?

Even still, he continued to fight, pushing the enemy back and doing what he could to keep those he knew were fighting on his side safe. It was a difficult job and he knew he wasn't succeeding all that well, but as long as he kept himself alive, he figured he would be able to save at least one more person.

If it involved knocking some heads together, then he was perfectly okay with that. He wasn't a diehard pacifist, but he would much prefer peace over this.

Now there were other youma wandering around the place and Ganymede could see some of those weird things from the DMC that sucked energy, and that on top of all the violence and death and general suckage of the battle was a bit more than he could handle. Well, this battle had been a bit more than he could handle from the start, but now he was seriously beginning to think that it was all a hopeless mess.

Once again, he had no idea where his friends were.

Once again, he had no idea what to do.

To try and make up for the confusion and misery—as well as to protect himself and Oberon—Ganymede lashed out at a passing youma with his foot and dug his heel in hard. Even though it earned a wild yelp and a scampering off in another direction, it wasn’t very satisfying at all.

Then he just hugged Oberon back and squeezed him tightly. “I know,” he said. “I want to go home, too.”

What was the point in all of this? Where was the meaning? Even when he and the other senshi finally began to agree to something, even when they started to formulate some sort of a plan, it didn’t work. What were they supposed to do now? How were they supposed to stop this? Nothing they did here seemed to be making a difference, and the princesses… as far as he could see, they weren’t fairing any better.

He looked up at Valhalla when the squire reached them and slumped a bit in relief, but other than that he didn’t move. He shook his head “no” and relied on Val to keep any enemies as bay while he tried and failed to comfort his small friend.

There wasn’t much comfort he could really give—nothing he could promise, nothing he could say or do to explain why this was happening, or to change the fact that death was everywhere they turned.

Eternal Sailor Leto lightly kicked at the body that dropped to the floor in front of her, her shoulders rolling in a shrug. Well okay then, that was easier than she had expected.

She snickered before moving deeper into the fray, surrounding herself with fighting on nearly every side of her. She kept an eye out for the people she had beef with- Camelot, Pomona, Chaonis, Grus. A few of them she caught out of the corner of her eye, but realized that they were preoccupied fighting teammates in both the DMC and Negaverse, which was good enough for her.

So instead of putting the effort into picking and choosing who she would fight next, she did something that she thought would be much more fun.

With blood dripping from her split lip and a large bruise forming on her jaw to add to the one under her right eye, she probably looked like a crazy b***h with her giant grin. Well, that probably wasn't too far from the truth. She clapped her hands together over her head and called, "Leto Hidden Ambush!" as loud as she possibly could.

That's when the fun began!

The ground beneath her feet began to rumble, the concrete splitting as tall grasses began to shoot up all around her. Parts of the floor itself completely raised, and Leto shimmered out of existence. She relished in the chaotic shaking of her attack, the splitting floor and tall grasses growing causing people around her to lose their footing if they weren't careful.

Oh, and to add to the fun? A large portion of the Dark Mirror Court and Negaverse were now camoflaged as well.

Eternal Sailor Attack: [Leto Hidden Ambush]
Leto can now summon the ground around her to raise and become covered in tall grasses. This makes her completely camouflaged and allows her to attack her enemies while they are confused and preoccupied with the new setting & shaking ground. She can now camouflage any other members of Chaos within a 15ft radius. The attack lasts 45 seconds and can only be used once per battle.

((Basically, there's a little earthquake going on all up in the meeting hall and all DMCers + Nega within a 15ft radius of Leto are camoflaged for the next 45 seconds! Have fun XD))

ETA: I gotta go, so assume that if you've posted your Nega/DMC Senshi as camoflaged, the camo will wear off in your second post! Also, the grass and floor damage is permanent, but the shaking ends pretty quickly, so assume 1 post is enough for that!

"A rhino? That would be very interesting to see."

Painite did not think it was very likely. She watched her little duck as she struggled with her anger and sadness. Whatever she was upset about was not Painite's problem, though she would have liked to know all the details. It would help her make things even worse for her.

She shook her head.

She attacked quickly, thinking that was the best way to not have to talk. She was in a bit of blood lust, and her fondness for hurting Albireo was fueling her as well. She swung for the girl with her spear, the bladed head aimed at her.

Athene was glad that his fellow Shepherd seemed to be pretty okay, at least from his quick glance. “I’ve had better days” he admitted in agreement to Nysa’s question. The dark-haired senshi managed a return smile, the smile touched with a slight wryness.

The smile faded as he added “I don’t think I’m that cut out for fights myself.” Youma yes, Athene didn’t have a problem with doing his best to dispatched the roaming monsters, but although by no way a pacifist, Athene had never been particularly keen to go and get into fights. "

“Are you well?” Just because Nysa looked okay it didn't automatically mean that the dark-haired senshi could make the assumption that the Page was okay

Virtus was not sure what he was supposed to say. Besides 'ow'.

He looked at Nyx in wonder as she held the front of his shirt, and he shuddered. This was going to turn out just like it had before. But then Pasiphae stepped in and he was so thankful for her he felt his chest near bursting. He wanted to thank her, though he was still a little too dazed to do anything at all.

He was in shock, pain, and more than a little confused.
