Rosciel walked into the room and immediately hated being here. Too many people, the music did not really appeal to him... But this wasn't for him. He was there for one purpose and one purpose only, to make Sin happy. His mockery of vision narrowed on her, taking in the outfit she had chosen. The mask reminded him of when he had first met her. It wasn't the same, she had dressed as a black swan as he had been told, though it didn't surprise him. If he thought really hard about it, no other color scheme would have gone well, if he remembered. She had been beautiful that night and she was beautiful now, a fair portion of him still couldn't believe he was here. Before he'd met her, Nic would have had to drag him to a function like this. And all that had happened since he arrived at this school... He'd almost lost her more times than he cared to think about, to her mother, the hunters, and even, though probably especially, to his own stupid pride and fears.
No mater where he was, no matter how uncomfortable with his surroundings, he could get through it as long as she was there with him.
Rosc tilted his head when he caught her frown at him and without a doubt knew what she was thinking. He couldn't help giving her a small smirk; she knew him far too well for his own good.
Without a word, he slipped his free hand under the one she had rested on his arm, lifted it, and kissed her knuckles.
"Don't think about it, Sin. Enjoy yourself," he replied behind the dark, firebird mask.
"It's a good thing I didn't bring any of mine. I doubt they'd like any of the others any more than they like Ripley," he added, unaware that the aforementioned foxsquirrel had actually sneaked down and was currently being hounded by Ladyluv.

Mac didn't know what he was doing, or what she was doing, but the moment Lizzy started to dance, he started laughing. He took a moment to see what she was doing, and then did the exact same thing.
"YEEEEAH~" You go, Lizzy! Woo!

Zar slipped off but Nuru was rarely too far behind. He still wiggled and shook to the beat of whatever song was presently playing but all the way over to the tables. Was... Zar eating? What rare thing was this? Nuru's floppy ears twitched and flopped back to a proper stiff ear perk. He was offering... meat?
Nuru gladly polished the offering off and smiled feebly at the incubus, "Still not havin' anneh fun?"

Wren could not help it, her mouth DROPPED open at the sight of Sparrow and Siobhan dancing. Even more so, she soon found herself giving a small laugh. Who the hell knew Sparrow could move like that? Not her! It seemed she had a lot to learn. At the dance off though, she pulled herself closer to Xiu. "Wha-whats going on?" She asked quietly. Camera? Why a camera? ~~~~~~~~~~ "Ppppffff, you wish that you won, kitten." His mouth upturned into a rather toothy grin, as he slapped his hand on her shoulder. "Don't worry though, you can try and reclaim your throne again later." In other words, he would so be up for a rematch. He was sooo whipping her butt again though. Then the dancing started, and it was a game of drag the ghoul around again. "WHOO C'MON LETS GO"

WALL FLOWER SPOTTED.
Still dancing-
-she danced down the down floor, and approached the lone ghoul, and upon closer inspection, realized that the ghoul was a familiar one... Ghoul...? Boil..?
"Merope!" She grinned, taking her - his?! - hand, and giving it a gentle tug towards the dance floor, "Come on, join us! Just throw your hands up, and dance!" One of us, one of us.

She had just slipped the camera's strap over her neck when the music suddenly changed. Xiu cocked her head to the side as in took in the new melody, noting with surprise that something about the new song actually made her want to dance. It was just so upbeat, and chipper and--
"Hey, Lizzy!" She grinned at the spider demoness from across the room, waving back with her free hand. Oh ho, so was this...? It looked like she was trying to get everyone to join in! Sparrow and Siobhan were already dancing, so nothing had to be done there. But as for herself and Wren...
Tilting her head, the baku turned to look at the other ghoul. "The dancing? It looks like a group dance!" She seemed fairly timid, that much was obvious, so she was hesitant to pull her into the group dance. After a moment of thought, she smiled and began to move forward, resting her free hand on Wren's as she led her to the dance floor and where Sparrow and Siobhan were currently dancing. "Want to try joining in, Wren? You can stick close to Sparrow and I!"
As they made their way out to where the pair was dancing, Xiu tapped Clyde on the shoulder as they passed him, jerking her thumb towards the growing dance group and indicating that he should join in. She also casually grabbed a certain noise reaper's wrist along the way, giving him less of a say--or rather, no choice at all--about whether or not he would be joining.
And then she began to dance (with both arms down, since Wren was clinging to one and she was patting the ghoul's hand in a reassuring manner with the other). She took particular care to make sure that Wren was between herself and Sparrow. "Prom is a time to be silly and have fun after all, right?"
(JUST...JUST IGNORE THE...ADVERTISEMENT PART OF THAT I'm not trying to advertise pretz to you guys okay)

A loud RIIIIP caught her attention and Junko gasped. Her dress..?! A quick check told her that no, it wasn't her dre--was...was there something wrong with that curtain over there? Strange. Junko had measured them herself they should all have been the same length. Had she made a mistake? Lizzy's answer successfully stole her attention off the ripped curtain...for now. Dancing?! Oh..oh right! She wanted to dance! She had told Jericho to have fun and here she was preventing herself from the same thing! How silly of her! Giggling, Junko watched the pink-haired ghoul, copying her motions as best as her dress would allow.

He gave the canine boil a very even look. "Fun? When, my dear pup, do I ever have fun? I mean really." Maybe when doing one of his two hobbies, otherwise, generally fun was a mysterious thing that happened to other people.
Forlornly eyeing the spread of food, he picked up another morsel and curled his lip at it in a flash of fangs.

 A clawed finger gently tapped Lumi on the shoulder, careful not to scratch her.
"Why aren't you wearing your mask?" Oh, it was a stupid question, and Julian knew it, too, but he just couldn't manage to get anything out. The whole while he was coming down from his dorm he thought of things to say when he found her, calling her "my lady" and things like that, things his brother Michel might have done. But it was clear he was not his brother, he'd even slightly stammered when asking his question.
He was wearing his, of course, and it was far from original. It was, however, a very personal mask, since the feathers surrounding the barn-owl face were actually his. He had called his mother days ago, asking if she could send him the mask she had made for him years ago. She had a set commissioned, one for herself, her husband, and every one of her boys. The mask itself was a soft, molded leather, each one crafted to resemble their faces in their bird forms. And each mask had been trimmed in their own molted feathers, though no one else knew that little secret.
"You weren't waiting long, were you?" He didn't think he looked all that great, but Lumi... She looked beautiful. Sin had done... An absolutely fantastic job helping her pick out a dress.

"Ulmuka." Needle said suddenly, distracted from what they had been talking about in lieu of a crowd forming, doing a...rather strange dance. "What is happening?" She inquired, clearly interested in the going-ons. "...Can we join? Will you come with me?" Cold fingers tightened about his arm, practically dragging him away from his precious food to join in on the dance.
She was very awkward, but that came along with her being mostly blind and completely terrible at any sort of dancing. Heee!

He distractedly turned the collar about his neck with a claw as he eyed the morsel before distantly trying to answer, "Messeh? Life is messeh. Death is messeh too ah guess."

Merope jumped, startled as Lizzy grabbed hold of his hand. "What! Hey! I --" the undead sputtered, voice cracking as he shifted between genders out of confusion. His attire was a mix of gentleman's dress and an actual dress, both needing only a few minor adjustments to change between the two specified genders. Either way, Lizzy successfully dragged Merope onto the dance floor, then grabbed him - her? - a second time as she - he? - attempted to slink off again. "I don't know --" Lizzy just said to throw hands up and dance, right? Well, there couldn't be any harm in it... Nah. Just kiddin'.

"My horizons are adequately broad." he purred, handing over the other snack he'd picked up, lazily licking his razor sharp claw in case it had anything left on it.
Broader than you know. he thought, eyeing Nuru.
"Still. I forgot food was so disgusting." he made a dismissive gesture at the whole thing. "Besides, surely you are capable of having fun without me also partaking?"
