I almost had to work at the same time I had to go take my bio final. Saw the schedule, called up the one person I could switch with (I probably could have switched with the opener but he'd probably want to get out as early as he could and I was supposed to close Wednesday) and they said they couldn't close either. But then I said "But my final" (well not exactly like that but I mentioned it) and she was all "Oh that's right. Ok. I'll just move it to a different day then."
Would have loved to have tried to arrange to take it today but I wasn't able to get a hold of my professor. So I'm just gonna type up the holiday posts and then get crafting. And maybe try to post some stuff on Etsy to start actually making some money from it instead of it just consuming my money.

Sounds like a plan.
I just got an extension on the literature review portion of my thesis due to that fact my university's library is crap and they don't understand the concept of a journal article from before the 1970s that is still relevant.

So I finally got around to sorting the book list.
Soon I'll be starting a thread for Egyptian Paganism for Beginners as my review of it because I remember San asking about it a couple years ago and I finally got my hands on a copy and have been reading it.

Debating on researching and posting certain topics. I do know I need to finish up some of the posts I've been wanting to work on. But I don't want them to end up being an almost copy pasta of the blog post the topic came from.

I'm hoping to finish reading one book I have on him (can't remember the title but I know I have the link in the guild in the resources already) and a Tumblr Kemetic linked me to a dissertation on Set that I was able to download right before my internet cut out (I'll add the link when I get Set's post up and going). Edit: Wow. Where is my head. The dissertation is the one linked in the resources forum. The book isn't. Which is surprising because the book is like a goto for Set.

I'm hoping to finish reading one book I have on him (can't remember the title but I know I have the link in the guild in the resources already) and a Tumblr Kemetic linked me to a dissertation on Set that I was able to download right before my internet cut out (I'll add the link when I get Set's post up and going). Edit: Wow. Where is my head. The dissertation is the one linked in the resources forum. The book isn't. Which is surprising because the book is like a goto for Set. I'll go and have a look for it. smile Though my laptop has decided it wishes to die slowly and painfully and so it's been having digital seizures and just being frustrating so we'll see how I go. By the way, the photos of your kitten on Tumblr are adorable! I'm more of a dog person really but, I do find kittens irresistibly cute.

And thanks for reminding me. I took one of her yesterday when she fell asleep in my mom's arms and she just had a silly look so I couldn't help it. I posted it on Facebook but not Tumblr for what ever reason.

It's just a cheap laptop - nothing fancy. I do wish dad had consulted me before he bought it so I could've told him a gaming laptop would've been more useful to me. Nope, he instead bought the gaming laptop for my brother who rarely ever uses it. stressed

cat_gonk What? That's crazy. I wish I had a gaming laptop though. It'll be quite a while before I get that though. I'm currently working on trying to save move for an apartment. Not exactly going as planned at the current time.
