Even as the Onix rose up and began to sing, Requiem would continue. This wasn't over. No, not yet! The shadows seemed to swirl, wriggling beneath their casters as if alive. The Zorua's voice became deeper, harsher as his moves changed to follow suit. Dancing about, the fox almost looked like he was fighting to dodge a barrage of attacks from every direction; as if the attack of his opponent's attack was more then mere sound, but something he needed to physically avoid.
Darting about their little battlefield, the Zorua would still manage to sing in full. He was countering with Round. This truly would be the end. Be it himself or the Onix, one of them would surely fall this time.
Though it didn't sound as such, the black intended this to be his namesake. A requiem for the soon departed. The grand finale to this battle of voice and will! [Song]

(14 - 3 + 10 - 12 = 9/2 = 4.5 rounds to 5dmg)
It was the final song....as the Onix was hit with that sound between his eyes. The music rocking his soul to the point that his entire being shook with it. The his eyes went completely blank as his head would hit the ground with a resounding boom as that song came to it's end. He had literally fainted from the sound of the music.
It was over ...the fight between a Zorua and Onix, and surprisingly enough ...it had ended in the Zorua's favor.

(It should be 8/10 at this point ...right?)
A Stunfisk in the water simply watches them pass. She had seen what happen to the other female and thought for now it was best to be heard and not seen ...or was it seen but now heard? She wasn't sure, but either way she was staying undercover in thee mud before the water.
((Equally short post for the same reason))
(7/10 now?)

Requiem's EXP: 328/200
Lv 3 --> Lv 4 Requiem's fur would suddenly stand on end as the Onix fell, an intense shiver running through the core of his being as he felt a surge of power. The experience from such a conflict had been great... magnanimous even. He felt stronger, more so then he had before. Was this what they called levelling? He'd heard his father talk about it once...called it proof of their growth...
Whatever it was, it was awesome!
While the Zorua revelled in his new found power, Raven would find his attention elsewhere. As the Onix struck the ground, something would fall free of the segments of it's body. Striking the ground, a small silver canister would roll across the floor to stop at the boy's feet. He'd recognize the sight of it easily enough, it was the same material he'd used to evolve Genn. The very item he'd travelled all this way for. A Metal Coat.
Good, at least now when he found the entrance of this place he'd be able to simply leave. He had no intention of returning once he'd found the cavern mouth. This place held no further interest for him.
Kneeling down, Raven would retrieve the canister and secret it away into his clothing. No sense in keeping it in the same location as the Fire Stone.
In the same motion Raven would take hold of something else he'd been holding onto until now. Something he'd planned to save for this very occasion. Due to the circumstances surrounding his capture, Requiem had remained weaker then the rest of his time; but with this, the fox would finally stand on equal footing. Or at least almost.
Unwrapping the tiny morsel, the boy would toss it out to the Zorua "Good work, now reap your reward" Raven stated quite plainly, rising to his feet once the wrapper was back in his pouch. No sense littering.
With a quick turn of his head and snap of his jaws Requiem would catch the deep blue drop. A piece of candy...but as another shiver ran through from his core, the type became obvious. A Rare Candy. The last one Raven held.Lv 4 --> Lv 5
[REQUIEM LEARNED PURSUIT!] Pokemon: Zorua [M] Name & Level: Requiem, Lv 5 [Temperament] Sassy Bio: During his rather lengthy adventure within the aether, Raven encountered a sight most odd. The forms of three Ghost-Type's surrounded by mist and wielding instruments; at their center standing a lone Zoroark with a microphone. Instead of fighting, the four Pokemon joined together in melodies most haunting; and when the performance had reached its end, the musicians shifted, the air glimmering about them as their forms disappeared, revealing a group of four rather unique Zorua. Requiem had been the lead singer of this group, and despite a lack of combat with the creature had left a rather distinct impression upon the child. Thus when Regal offered them the chance to obtain any one Pokemon they had encountered upon the island, Raven chose the little black fox. He knew nothing of Requiem's combat ability, but he had witnessed the signs of a leader, and the potential for so much more! Upon his first release into the world outside the aether, the Zorua declared this and all too follow his first 'Solo Tour', and that he was going to rock this world! Stats: HP: 12/20, PP: 24, ATK: 13, DEF: 10, SPD: 11, SP-ATK: 14, SP-DEF: 11 MOVES: - Round - Scratch - Captivate - Pursuit Held Item: EXP: 128/400
For a brief instant the darkness of the cavern would gather and and surround Requiem, the shadows seeming to lap at his feet as an odd feeling ran through him. A strange...kinship he now felt with the dark he hadn't before.
Sadly, the Zorua wouldn't be given much further chance to ponder this sensation before being recalled. There was still much ground to cover to exit this cavern, and Raven didn't intend to waste a single second he could be using to put this place behind him!

Black boots clacked heavily against the stone as Raven marched swiftly through the cavern. Halfway, he was about halfway through now. He wasn't entirely certain why he knew that, but he was sure of it. Just a little further and he could avoid this place for the rest of existence. He wasn't one to turn down a challenge mind you, but he'd had more then enough of large boulders coming right at them. Whether that be literally, or in the form of a Rock-Type like Onix.

Maintaining a rather brisk pace, Raven continued forward in silence. There was no need to create any further noise then the sound of his own footsteps departing this place.

((Nomigustanomigustanomigusta... ))
Blaze jumped back to dodge but as it seemed he wouldn't have to. A Ponyta jumped out of her Pokeball and pushed him aside playfully. PLAYTIME! Her mouth opened joyfully as she tightened her muscles that she almost turned blue. A mere babe but do not mess with her. She is a girl. More dangerous than a herd of Spindas I still remember that chasing you like a bunch of loons.
Tsuki paled. He didn't want her fighting really. She was more of the baby of the group, give or take. Well she was on the defense now, having took his attack turn.

Raven would come upon them then ....as he would stumble upon ...Tsuki's fight with the wild Aron. His own done as it would seem the fight was over the same thing ...the metal coat ...as the Aron didn't even slow it's charge ...as the Ponyta appeared to shove the Heatmor out of the way. Though it ...itself wasn't so lucky.
(16 - 3 + 15 - 7 = 21dmg)
Ponyta hp: -7 (Almost died)
The ponyta came ...and she would leave almost as fast as she appeared. It was obvious, that Tsuki was struggling hard as the Aron slide to a stop after the collision and realized it's miss as it leaped at it's opponent again. Trying to collide against the side of Blaze as it would seem this fight wasn't about to end.

For only the briefest instant would Raven stop, watching as the Ponyta fell. The child's hand would fall immediately upon the second ball upon his belt, grasping it...and swiftly releasing it.
This was not his battle to fight. The weak must be defended; but while this other student seemed to be losing, he had ever ability to keep battling on his own.
Turning away, Raven would march onward. Ignoring Tsuki and the Aron entirely. This was now his fight.
