Sneaking up behind Aqua, Sil gives her a big bera hug. "I'm right here, ya little rat! And where's that nuisance of a sister of yours?"

Avani smiles back slowly as her mom hugs Aqua, and she loosens up a little bit. But when mom mentioned her other cousin, Sere, she tightened up again.

A worried look passes over Silvia's face as she wonders where she could be. She shrugs, and smiles at her niece and daughter. "Why don't you two go and find her? Who knows what havoc she might be wreaking? And, lord knows Aqua, you're the only one close enough to be able to keep her in hand, besides Niko."

Avani shrinks back as mom suggests they go look for that. . . demon, was all she could think her as, and her eyes widened. But her mom seemed to not see her, and she hunched down.

Grinning as she sees her sister, she waves at Niko. "Damned sleepy-head of a sister, that's all I have"

Avani perks up as she hears Sylas' name. Looking around, when she doesn't see him, she turns quiet again. Then she notices the little demon that she saw last time she was at the complex. She smiles shyly and extends a bark covered hand. "Hi, I'm Avani. . . I'm the one that gave Sylas the pet. . ."

Silvia grins wickedly. "Well, maybe that's why you look like a ruffian, you bloody beast" She starts laughing.

Avani looks at Aqua on Niko's back, and looks up at her mom entreatingly. Her mom just rolls her eyes, and kneels down, as Avani jumps onto her back, her vines wrapping around Silvia's waist to secure herself.

Avani smiles slowly as she looks at Aqua, then giggles. "W-well, unless she turns into some type of super-woman"

Silvia laughs, then shakes her head. "Or she finds some way to not get wet at the same time!"

Sil grins. "Well, at least I don't have to worry about that. Only shedding bark" She grins ruefully.

Avani giggles again, a little less nervously.

"Certainly - I don't want to leave you in the lurch." Sei swept a bow and gave her a brilliant smile. "Anything unusual about this camera? Or do I just aim it and push the button?"

Rime smiled gratefully. "No, nothing tricky. It's just a digital camera. I would take the pictures myself, only then they wouldn't be pictures of us two together."

She handed over the camera, and then took Ritsu by the hand. "Okay, sweetie. Let's stand... Hm. Let's stand here. This is a blank part of the wall. You stand... in front of me, and stand up tall, look at Sei. Good!"

Ritsu was standing in front of Rime, hands tucked into the opposite sleeves. Rime was about a foot behind him with her arms outstretched, hands lightly on either shoulder. She smiled proudly, but Ritsu only managed a watery little half-smile at first. Then he swallowed hard.

I'm not going to let Rime-san down... she thinks that this will be fun, so I'm going to try, at least. He put on a braver smile.


Avery nodded, and scanned the room, too. The room was large, and people were in the way... "Yeah, we can go find him. Let's go searching. We can bring him back here to do the puzzle. That way Mr. Sei can help, too. Once he's done with Mom's camera, anyway." He pointed off towards the other wall with one hand, then set the controller for his car down next to it before taking a few steps.
