Mot yelped, shielding himself for what he thought would be the end of him as Red`s gigantic form loomed overhead. But the crash came and went, and Mot was not flat as a pancake. The reaper looked up to see Red standing over them, shielding them.
That was Red. She was speaking to them, though her voice was entwined with another. Even now, she was asking them to leave. She cared for them, he just knew it.
A shockwave was coming, and Mot instantly hid behind one of Red's legs to shield himself from the blast. He peeked out, watching the main hunter lose his weapon. They had an opening!
At Amrita's question, Mot turned, nodding his head toward Caelius. "I say we take that sucker out!"

Candace had been to the side nursing her leg after having landed on it in and just causing more pain for herself, wincing and checking her burns. That hurt. A lot. Ugh. She couldn't just sit aside though, she needed to actually do s**t. Caelius seemed to go in for the kill and she sighed with relief as she stood to watch, but instead of seeing the satisfaction of the beast being slain she and the other hunters had to watch as Caelius' scythe disappeared...and...he couldn't summon it back. Her eyes widened. Oh dear. This isn't good... Atropos muttered, worried. Candace looked down at her feet a moment. So that meant Caelius was defenseless? A movement caught her eye and she looked to see a stupid student with retarded fuzzy ears throw a rock at their leader. She growled, running straight for her without even a call of warning for anyone. Once she was close enough she stood on one leg and spun to kick the little b***h with her bladed boot, hopping a safe distance away after. "Annoying little twits." HP: 37

Hel was pleased to see other winged students such as her self up in the air and taking initiative as well, but she didn’t have time to appreciate it too much as Red growled and turned towards her. The reaper tucked her wings to her body, dropping down as the creature’s claw tore through the air where she had been, and once Hel was clear, she snapped her wings open again and climbed. She looked surprised as Red grabbed onto Aksaja and seemed to…drain him? The creature then seemed to toss him, and the reaper immediately dismissed her spear and dived after the dragon boil, trying to catch him, but she was completely thrown off track when struck by the resulting shock wave.
The ghoul let out a surprised cry as she tumbled through the air away from Aksaja and plummeted back down to the ground. Hel folded her wings as tightly as she could against her back, and braced herself for the inevitable impact of the rock ground. It would certainly come as a surprise though, when her impact was not with the ground, but rather, a certain tatzel instead.

Didn't see ya doin' anythin'! She snapped back at West's remark about her attack; really- she hadn't seen him attack. The ghoul had no idea if he'd really wholloped her or not while she wasn't looking from some shadowy hiding place.
Then Xiu had mentioned the heir? Eris. Levi's eyes scanned to find her and then knew that War had been attacking the man instead. Surely she knew something they didn't... Levi's concerns about the beast that once was their professor faded. West wasn't dead.
Their professor... was she still in there somewhere? The voices, the message... the concern.
I think... Eris' got tha right idea...
Yes. She must. Despite the changes in appearance from Red along with the rampages, Levi now connected Eris' opponent to being the actual threat. This was his doing. Surely, this was his doing. It didn't take the tatzel much to place trust in those who'd shown her a kindness, so with Eris' elegant introduction and Red's throwing her out of harm's way- Levi decided internally that these were signs. The man now was her focus. As she readied to attack, the twitching tingle of her tatzel sense ears caused her to look up and hiss. Instantaneously, she thought I NEED TO CATCH HEL but instead got a load of the shockwave herself, left motionless only to be plummeted to the ground by the falling valkyrie. Her body remained there on the ground, unable to move.

Amrita stared at Mot, then back towards the human Red had been attacking. Part of her wanted to stay here and defend Red, but...perhaps she should take her own advice then, and go after the one who is responsible for it. Without a doubt in her mind, that person was him. "Alright...Let's go, then." She nodded towards Mot, what was left of her lips pressing down in to a thin line. Then, to Demi. "Mot and I are going after the Jackin' assface, feel free to join us!" Next to the rest of the group. "Do what you can here!" Then she left, jogging (rather, sprinting on her toes) out from under Red and trying to gain up enough speed to get past the defenses that the Hunters were starting to set up. "YOU'LL PAY FOR THIS!" Amrita cried at the gaggle of Hunters, their leader in specific. Sure she was broken, battered, and looked like she had been put through the ringer a few times, but...damn, she wasn't afraid of them. She couldn't be, not now. The time to be scared was over, at least in her mind. She wasn't sure how, but her first hit - an awkwardly spinning kick - managed to make her feel like she hit two people. Err, what? As she stumbled back to regain her (still backwards!) footing, she stared. Wait! Where did the sword-wielding one come from?! Quote: Target: CAEL. Damage: 13 - 6 = 7 - 4 (Harrison's Defend...?) = 3 HP: 40/40 Fear: Y2 - Headlights - Amrita asks a question in an attempt to get a one-up on her opponent. Y1 - Tainted Fang - Amrita transfers rot/decay to her opponent, which is the cause of the damage until it dies from exposure

Whisper braced herself against the wind Red caused when she landed. The monstrous figure of her idol was looming above her and the surrounding group. Needless to say, she was intimidating as hell. She listened carefully to the old teacher's words, thinking on them in great detail. However, she could not understand what she meant. Home? Where would the answers be at home? Hell, how could she find them? The teachers were pretty tight lipped about whats going on. Maybe she could team up with Shehk...
Whisper looked around and saw that no one was really harmed, that was until the shockwave rolled through again. Aw, s**t. She couldn't move. There must have been something different about that blast. It looked like others were having the same moving issue she was. This clearly was not good. Really, they were sitting ducks if anyone attacked. Oh please for the love of Jack no one attack. "Well I'm stuck...does anyone have any ideas?"

Jerry's breathing was quick as he limped his way towards the sounds of chaos and what certainly SOUNDED like a horrible monster landing heavily and ominously. He could do this. He could do this. He could DO this. Without wetting his overalls... ooc 5-6: You are coming at her from an angle. Unfortunately for you, she manages to swipe at you with her claws. Roll 1d6 to determine the damage you receive BEFORE you roll your attack.

Damien didn't forget about their half conceived plan for helping red with the best means for a monster.
With food. The green eyes canine was already tearing through the plastic casing of the steak and began to beat Red's snout with it before tossing them down her throat. "LET THE BUNNY WUNNY NOMS FIX EVERYTHING!"
If only he had Levi's seasonings to make the meat taste even better, but it was worth a shot.

Status: he's currently feeding Redzilla. :3 and hitting her with meat products.

He could do this- he could- "AAK!" Suddenly a massive set of talons swung in his direction, sending the hunter tumbling backwards with a groan. His glasses skittered elsewhere, but they were useless now anyway, he'd find them when his vision cleared- He knew where the enemy was now at least! Hauling onto his feet, he shook it off, preparing to fire.... (In next post)  HP: 36

Leon however didn't bitches being bitches as evident from the snarl that marred his features. he watched with mild curiosity as the dragon like thing began its descent to ground. sweet ground. And his face light lit like a kid getting boxing gloves on Christmas day.
"I think I gotta agree with Bix Marcus." he said with a rather happy sounding tone and pointed at the fallen creature. "Hunters gotta hunt, so lets go nab us a big ol prize." the life hunter stated and went charging at the newly awakened "Red" from directly in front with a head on collision

Madison yelped as the massive beast landed, making everything tremble and shake; she very nearly tripped over a rock and stumbled, only barely managing to keep her balance. The beast was roaring something, staring at the freaks tucked under her belly, but the trainee Hunter couldn't quite make it out. Her heart was pounding far too loudly.
Chaos. Madness - and there went Caelius, and she watched him, her stomach twisting as his weapon shifted. For a moment a delicate, beautiful shape hovered there before vanishing, and then their leader's weapon was gone entirely.
We do not like this, Kouki whined, clearly discomfited by whatever had happened to Caelius' scythe.
He had no defenses now. The beast was looming, freaks leaping to attack, and... Madison didn't know what to do. No idea at all. Until Bix shouted.
"C'mon Hunters! LET'S HUNT!"
She had to do this. So Caelius didn't have his weapon - he still had the Hunters, and they had weapons. She had her weapon. She was more terrified than she'd ever been in her entire life, but she'd sacrificed her life for this. So she could fight these things, not just cower in fear of them. So she wouldn't feel like she was the weak point of Phoenix - of the Hunters - ever again.
The beast's body seemed to flare white for a moment, as if in confirmation. Madison moved.

Madison pelted away from Caelius and the others, Kouki's blades sheathed at her sides as she ran towards the giant beast. She had to think - fast - where was she going? What was she going to do?
One massive, disabled leg loomed near her - but stabbing the beast there wasn't going to help, was it? It was already badly damaged; no point. And yet...
The trainee Hunter squared her shoulders, took a deep breath, and ran. She leapt at the leg and landed on it with a thump, clinging on with all her might, digging her fingers into every handhold she could find - even if some of them were wounds. One giant wing swept past her, but the sudden gust of wind was not powerful enough to knock her down. There was no more time to think, only to act. If she stopped to think now, all was lost.
Kouki hissed in her mind, a long, low sound of predatory hunger.

Leon didn't really know why he botherd to go head on, but there was no seconds guessing it after he stomped over there and looked at its face.
"Ugh, its like looking at an opponent after a 10 round bout with no cutman." he moaned out and did a bit of retching at the stench coming from its mouth, or was it the a**? really hard to tell at this point.
However the Red thing had an answer for that as it opened its jaws a bit wide and nicked his arm with a tooth. "Ah, you filthy thing, you're going to get it!" he quipped back in irritation, holding up nidhogg in all its wondrous, vibrating glory.
Hey that Dog over there is feeding it bunny wunny steaks! I haven't had one of those in a long while, buy me one you jacking b*****d.
"Oh for pete's sake, WILL YOU FOCUS!"

Everything was drowned out by an Irate brunette's screaming and raving.

It seemed to take both a very long time and no time at all. Madison clung to the beast's leg and worked her way upwards, her hands, feet, and clothing growing slick with dark, smoky residue from the beast's many wounds. Several times she nearly fell, and pain and tension sang through her limbs. She'd never done anything like this before. Ever.
And then, very suddenly, she ran out of leg. The beast's back stretched out in front of her, wide as a city street. The trainee Hunter crawled on her hands and knees, moving up the beast's spine, panting with exertion. But her target was clear. If you wanted something to die, you hit it either in the heart or the brain, right? Her torso was too damn big, so... brain it was.
Madison inched her way up the beast's back, pressing close to the spines that rose like a wall, using them for support when needed. Massive horns arched overhead, easily enough to destroy her with only a casual head-toss... but Kouki was with her, her weapon whispering encouragement as she continued forward. Up, and up, and...
The glowing bright symbol on the beast's forehead gleamed - it might as well have been a neon sign reading ATTACK HERE. Madison clung to the very last (or first) spine and tried to catch her breath as the beast's head swayed and pitched. She could not believe she was doing this. How the hell could she be doing this?!
We are here. Let us strike!!
She took a deep breath, leaning against the spine and making sure she was reasonably secure in her footing before drawing all four of Kouki's blades. She gathered them up together, like some kind of deadly bouquet, wrapping both hands around the hilts of the gathered blades. She waited, shaking, until the beast raised her head just enough to make things more-or-less level...
Then she lunged forward, terrified and desperate, and drove all four blades directly into the glowing rune on the beast's forehead.
Target: Red's Head
Damage: 12 - 5 = 7
Status: CLINGING ON RED'S HEAD OH GOD WHAT ARE YOU DOING MADDIE I HOPE YOU HAVE A GOOD GRIP METER
