Henry followed Cade up the stairs, sighing as he did so.
"I'm just making sure. I'd rather not risk serious injury, especially after what happened."

"So tell me what happened. Everything." Henry sighed as he rolled up Cade's sleeve, removed the bandages, and began to clean and examine the wound.

"From before I called you?" Cade frowned slightly as he watched him work on his arm. "The guy was standing outside my apartment when I got home. I told him that I wasn't working today without a good reason and he said he'd give me a good amount of money for killing someone. When I asked how much he told me to go into the kitchen where there were two cases of money. I told him I wouldn't take the job unless I knew who I was killing and he said it was you."
He sighed slightly, he should have at least pocketed some of the money before handing over the cases..."So I gave the money back to him and told him I wouldn't take it because you were a regular. He wouldn't take no for n answer and wanted to know how much money it would take so I got kinda snippy then he left. After that I called you and he tried to kill me."

"What the ******** was that for?" Isaac snapped, glaring at Jack. "Why do you always do this s**t to me?!"
Henry listened quietly, intensely staring at Cade's wound as tended to it.
"It seems someone really wants me dead..." He mused half to himself.

"I don't know." Henry answered quietly. "I know I have enemies in both worlds of business, but I can at least figure out who's responsible for attacks with enough investigating. None of my enemies use this kind of approach." He sighed, standing up as he finished Cade's wound.

Cade rubbed his arm lightly once the man was done. "What kind of approach? The trying to kill your employees or hiring mercenaries to kill you? Because I figured the later was a common thing."
