I-The-Fallen To be honest, Harry Potter ended for me when the books did. And I've been considering a fan fic taking place a few years after the series. One of the big changes being that the main character is an American, and the plot revolves around the power vacuum left behind with Voldemort's death. if you do write it, let me know. i enjoy a good harry potter fic once in awhile... though, there hard to find. sometimes, the parings people come up with freak me out......... *coughGinny/Narissiacough*

Epsilon, Wanderer, I agree.
But it would be best to make one, as most of the ones that exist, or all the ones I've seen at least, are terrible.
The movies were all terrible disappointments to me, though strangely enough (with the exception of #6) I'm glad I saw them. It would fill me with pleasure if a competent director who has actually read all of the books would redo the movie into something worth the time and money required to watch them.
Now I must get back to my homework as I have stuff due tomorrow~

Personally, I never got into the Harry Potter craze. While I certainly enjoyed the movies, and the books I did read(never found the time to read past the fifth book), I was never as rabid about them as most of the fanbase tends to be. No offense.
I dunno, I felt the movies were pretty competently directed. Most of the complaints seem to stem from the fact that they change certain story details, but even that doesn't make them bad movies; just look at First Class or the Nolanverse Batman movies, or even Kick-a**(my all time favorite superhero movie), Wanted, and the Lord of the Rings. Though one could make the argument that comic book superhero universes are much too convoluted to make a completely accurate movie out of.
And personally, The Halfblood Prince was my favorite of the movies. It didn't have the fast-paced action or bells and whistles of the other movies, but it certainly had a heartfelt and overall good story to tell, with consistent pacing to it all.
In a completely unrelated note, I totally should never write such long ooc posts using my phone ever again.

I can see it now in a duelling class. Wizard 1: Expelliarmus! Wizard 2: Accio 9mm! *Levels pistol and shoots him 3 times I find this exchange hilarious, but that's just me ninja

I have to admit some of the places they go are kind of creepy. I giggle when they get freaked out.
Ghost Hunters is a bit more professional in my opinion.

I prefer Ghost Hunters myself. But when I need a laugh I watch the other one. Oh and Paranormal State is a good one too.
