I exhaled a low growl at the Yakuza who left. I tilted my head to one side, popping my neck, and did the same to the other side. I slowly turned around to face her. "Oh no, she's taking a glempse at the face I wear in battle. I hope this doesn't scare her away." Worry began to seep into my mind. I walk over to her, my armor clanking as I walked. Yes..milady? I say sofly back.

Iyasu gently extended her hand toward the samurai before her. She retracted it not sure how to react to the man before her, or was he a man? In the end, it did not matter. He seemed the same and the color of red sprinkled across his body.

"Kibakichi-san . . . are you hurt? Are you all right?" She asked as she stepped forward to him and claimed his hands in her own.

My icy blue eyes glowed sinisterly even though it was daytime. Yes I'm alright. The bullet did not go in that deep, but it stings a little. I said softly, the mask altering my voice, making it lower and darker, more beast-like. Like I was growling when ever I spoke. I withdrew my right hand, grabbed the pistol, and showed it to her. They won't bother us again. No matter how advance their weapons become, sometimes not taking a life as more of a influnce.

"Bullet? What do you mean 'did not go in that deep?' Kibakichi-san, you are most certainly not all right!" Iyasu gasped as she watched the fellow in front of her. It was hard to believe that this man was indeed Kibakichi-san, the samurai whom had captured her heart.

"You must lay you down at once! We need to get a doctor . . ."

No, I do not need a doctor. I growled fiercly at her as I put the pistol away, and pressed the ring around my glove-jewel. My glove-jewel glowed and my armor began to glow, resonating to it. My armor liquified and was quickly absorbed into the jewel. The pistol fell to the ground, a tanto fell as well, but I caught it before it hit the ground. I slid it underneath my belt and pulled the top of my Juban off my shoulders, revealing my upper body, glistening with sweat, the entry point of the bullet was right over my heart. I drew the tanto with my right hand and cut deep into my chest, across the bullet hole, I showed no pain or discomfort as blade sliced into the muscle, my blood flowing freely. It hurt, but I just didn't show it. I sheathed the tanto, and with my 1st finger and thumb on my right hand, I reached inside the cut and extracted the bullet and I showed it to her. Yes bullet. See, it didn't even pentrate my muscle, so I'm fine. All I need is rest. I said throwing the bloody lead ball to the ground. I turned and walked away from her, my right hand over covering the bleeding wound. I was a little tired from summoning and putting the armor away, which took alot of ki to do. I leaned my back against the cottage wall, panting trying to catch my breath.

She simply glared at him, never swaying to him as he acted everything in front of her. Her eyes, though her looks were slightly cold, were filled with concern and disdain for the distance the samurai fronted himself denying the fact that he needed a doctor. Iyasu knew better than to do anything harsh suddenly.

As Kibakichi departed from her toward the cottage, she hesitated to follow after him. The geisha grew a little unsure of how he was doing. He seemed to be keen and fit, though he commented on needing rest. She chewed on her inner lower lip, before darting after him in the cottage's midst. As she drew closer, Iyasu caught sight of Kibakichi leaning against the cottage's exterior panting for air.

"Kibakichi-san!" She dashed over to his wake and looked to him steadily. She claimed his left arm, seeing his right covered the greater wound he had created. "Let's get you inside and to bed. I think a bit of water to drink and some to clean up that wound is order, don't you agree? I'll dress the wound if you'll let me. It's very deep and that lead ball could have had some substance on it that we don't know about." Iy-chan suggested softly to him.

I push off the wall with my shoulders, move in front of her and bow deeply, my blood dripping from my wound, over my hand and onto the ground. I'm very sorry, I was rude. Please forgive me. Dealing with the Yakuza always agitates me. I'm not usually this aggressive. Yes you may dress my wound, but don't worry about it being poisoned, they have tried that before. It doesn't work. I don't know why either. I slowly raise back up and felt the blood run down chest, across my abs, and farther downward.

Iyasu held him up, though her strength failed her slightly. She did not show it. She suspiciously eyed the ronin about the remark about previously attempted poisoning incidents from the yukuza thugs.

"Let's head inside and we'll see how that wound is?" She smiled to him, as stepped toward the cottage.

I could feel the wound begin to heal underneath my hand, clotting up. I followed her into the cottage, and pulled out the chair closest to the stove, which was cold. I turned the chair to face the window, placed some firewood into the oven. Focusing my ki to the center point on my left hand, I curled my fingers around an invisible ball, and let it go. A small yellow ball burst forth from my hand and hit the logs, there was a slight delay, then the logs ignited, with a sharp bang. I sat down in the chair, and relaxed.

Iyasu tried to help Kibakichi with the logs, though he seemed to have had kept his own. She frowned a little as she watched the energy burst forth from his hand.

"You need to save your energy." Was all she said as she gathered items to clean his wound. "Kibakichi-san, how much are you in?"

I'm not in that much pain and once you sterlize it, my body will start to heal so don't be alarmed and work fast. I removed my weighted Juban and let it fall to the floor. It landed on the floor with a loud thud. I pulled off my weighted fighting guards, the left one, then the right, and set them on the wooden table. The table creaked lightly under the weight.

(No biggie. biggrin )

She started a small fire in the fire pit and grabbed a kettle to the boil water. As she poured the water into the kettle, the Geisha could hear sounds of the Ronin's armor fall to the ground and make things creak under its weight. She glanced over her shoulder to double check how he was doing. She was worried, there was no denying it, but she kept her peace as she continued on her medical road.

"Kibakichi-san, what do you mean your body will start to heal once I sterilize it?" Iyasu asked as she came toward him. She walked over to the table and gently pushed the guards to the side to make room for the water once it readied it.

(She lives!!! xd )
You'll see milady. I said cause honestly I couldn't explain it either. My body has just always done it that way. I had a question nagging at me, and I decided to say it.
Will you stay with me? You could help me take care of the horses, including yours of course, and I'll be able to protect you in case the Yakuza come for retaliation. My voice was soft and had hint of nervousness it.

((Sorry about that . . . things have been in an up roar as of late.))

Iyasu furrowed a brow to him as the water began to steam. The steam streamed from the kettle's spout creating small wisps of puff above it. She gathered up some cloths from around the kitchen to hold piping hot handle of the kettle. She rushed over to the table with the hot water and looked to him with pondering eyes.

"Will I say with you?" Iy-chan repeated the question as she put the kettle on to the table. "You want me to live with you, Kibakichi-san?" She was surprised and endeared. "Are you asking to become . . ." The artisan paused and looked to him gently.

I dropped my head in a bow, so my eyes could not meet hers, and said,
I do not want to put the rest of the girls in danger from a demon in my past. Plus I need a stable hand, cause this job is a handful. Even for this lowly Ronin. My voice soft, gentle very contrasting to what it like earlier. Many thoughts were buzzing through my head. Then an idea hit me. My head shot back up, my fierce eyes locking hard on Iyasu's.
However even you decline my offer, I have some friends that would gladly protect you. My voice grew more confident as I smiled.
