Fourth year Gryffindor Caiden noticed her change in expression. She was a bit... frightening. But, he didn't let that bother him. "Well, for one, I don't believe you. But, for two, life is too short to not smile. And, your actions are hard not to smile at." He laughed silently to himself, and leaned himself back on his palms. He was enjoying the fresh air and the slight breeze. It caused him to close his eyes and take it all in.

Antoinette Machiavelli— Slytherin ; Second Year Antoinette watched his movements intensely. And as soon as the boy closed his eyes, Antoinette smiled and placed her cheeks into her palms. She let out a tiny squeal. He was so profound! And American! Antoinette let out another tiny squeal.

Fourth year Gryffindor Caiden let out a small chuckle and took a deep breath. He was surprised at the girl. "What are you squealing about?" He peeked up at her as she stared.

Professor Kalle Ithilwen | Vice-Captain | Care Of Magical Creatures Kalle smiled as Lena approached her. 'I am excellent Lena, thank you, but no we will not be learning any more of doxies this year. We shall be beginning a new lesson soon,' she added. 'Welcome,' she said slowly as a new male student approached the class. Her eyes narrowed slightly as she saw how highly Antoinette thought of him already; the thought of Antoinette liking anyone better than herself worried her. 'What is your name, may I ask?'

Fourth year Gryffindor Caiden opened his eyes to the professor. He sat up and wiped his palms off on the grass. "Caiden, Ma'am. I'm a fourth year gryffindor. I know you have just finished your lesson, but I was wondering how old the Doxy was you have there." The care of magical creatures may not have been his favorite subject, but he did care about his grades, and wanted to be sure that he was getting any information he may need if there were a test of some sort. Although, he probably wouldn't have been tested since he was new, but keeping up on his studies was important to him.

Sparrow couldn't help herself she heard parts of the conversation behind her between Caiden and Antoinette. It seemed like Caidon was flirting with the evil despicable vermin. Tears started to come to her eyes and she had no reason why. So he was a player. Sparrow had thought she might actually have a chance at a boyfriend. She tried to hold them back and she looked back forward bent over a piece of parchment trying to doodle and not cry.

Fourth year Gryffindor Noticing that the girl didn't have the means to respond to him any time soon, Caiden got up from his sitting position from the ground next to the Slytherin and brushed himself off. Making his way over to the rest of the group, he noticed a girl he had been spening time with already in his first two days of School. Sparrow was sitting on the ground, keeping her head bent over a piece of parchment. He took a seat next to her, and let himself lie on the grass. "Hey, whatcha up to, Gryffindor Girl?" He peeked up at her, noticing she was still bent over the paper. Something was wrong...

Sparrow heard somebody approaching and she quickly tried to wipe the tears away. She heard Caidon speak and she froze saying, "No-nothing really, just doodling." Her voice was a little shaky. She avoided eye contact and continued to doodle on the paper. She wanted him to go away.

Fourth year Gryffindor Caiden heard how shaky her voice was, and he sat up to look at her. Something was definitely wrong. He thought back to what he said, and nothing was offensive. He didn't like it when people were sad around him. That just meant he had to cheer them up, which was something he loved doing. "Hey now, what are you doodling?" He tried to look at her paper, but her long hair made that difficult. They definitely weren't at the stage where he could move her hair without getting attacked.

Sparrow was slightly annoyed that he wouldn't just leave. She looked down at what she was doodling. She hadn't really been paying much attention to it and mummbled, "Nothing really. It looks terrible." She still didn't want to look at him or open up to him.

Music walked up to the teacher slowly so she didn't trip."Excuse me,Professor."She said quietly."I'm Music,a Slytherin.I'm new and will be taking your class."Then she whispered in her ear."I'm blind."
She swallowed nervously.If anyone found out she was blind......they would probably make fun of her.Just like they did at her other school...

Fourth year Gryffindor Caiden nodded to the professor, knowing very well that Doxies can live a long time, irrelevent to their body size. "Sparrow, don't say that. I'm sure it looks lovely. Did I do something to offend you?" What if he did do something? He was really started to worry now, because she had never been this closed up to him before. It was starting to make him nervous. The idea of hurting someone frightened him more than getting attacked by the girl. He waited for her response, keeping his fingers crossed that it wasn't him.

Sparrow wondered if he was serious. Maybe she was overreacting and that he was just being friendly to Antoinette. She was going over it in her mind. He hadn't done anything really. Only just said Hi because she looked bored or something. He was just trying to cheer the vermin up. He didn't know how rude and obnoxious Antoinette could be. She tried to reason with herself. She didn't want Caiden to think she was being stupid. She said, "Its nothing. Really." She raised her head, more in control. She still didn't look him in the eye though, because her eyes were still a little watery. She uncovered her sketch of the doxy. She had a tendency to draw whatever interesting was near.
