"No. I'm alright." He smiled a bit to show her. "And I didn't buy it. I found it on an old mansion near the mountains." He thought back. "It's a few miles south of the canyons."
(Sorry, kinda short. Going to work.)

An old cowboy went riding out one dark and windy day Upon a ridge he rested as he went along his way
When all at once a mighty herd of red eyed cows he saw
A-plowing through the ragged sky and up the cloudy draw

Their brands were still on fire and their hooves were made of steel Their horns were black and shiny and their hot breath he could feel
A bolt of fear went through him as they thundered through the sky
For he saw the Riders coming hard and he heard their mournful cry

Shannon lifted up her cup of coffee, taking a small sip, before lowering it. "Are you sure? I'm pretty good at sensing these kind of things. Maybe that's my gift. " She giggled softly. "If something's wrong, I really wouldn't mind helping if I can. At least to repay the kindness you've shown me. " At his next words, she frowned a little! "Awww.. I guess it must be a one-of-a-kind book then! Hee-hee, then that makes you the lucky person to have found it!"

Their faces gaunt, their eyes were blurred, their shirts all soaked with sweat
He's riding hard to catch that herd, but he ain't caught 'em yet
'Cause they've got to ride forever on that range up in the sky
 On horses snorting fire
As they ride on hear their cry

As the riders loped on by him he heard one call his name If you want to save your soul from Hell a-riding on our range
Then cowboy change your ways today or with us you will ride
Trying to catch the Devil's herd, across these endless skies

He smiled a bit. "Yea. Too bad I just left it there." He sat back and sighed. He looked down at his 'plate' and poked at the meat a bit. "People do have gifts of their own. Though I'd say yours is the unique one. I'd give almost anything to sense what people are feeling, so I know if they're hostile or not."

Shannon frowned a bit at that, maybe she would have to adventure a bit to look for that book. Shrugging that off for now, she nodded slightly. He did have a good point there, though there was...in fact another 'gift' she had that she wasn't about to speak of. No one here in this world knew of it, and she hoped for one she would never have to use it. "If you look into a person's eye's, and try to read there emotions,it is quite easy to tell there intentions just by that. Just concentrate enough not to freak the other person out. Hee-hee. "

"Really? I need to help you with that. If they show no hostility or rudeness to you, there should be no reason to fear anyone, right? Are you...afraid of me?" She asked, blinking with a puzzled look upon her face. "I promise I don't bite!" She smiled as she glanced back at the roasting 'deer' creature, waiting for it to be completely finished as she took another sip of her drink. "Ah, I see. We don't want that to happen huh? I guess you just have to be a little careful with that power."

Shannon rubbed the back of her neck, laughing softly at his first words. It was strange to hear she was even frightening looking as she was now. She didn't tend to scare anyone like this! So that was a first for her to hear. "Well, I'm glad you aren't fearful of me. I wouldn't do a thing to cause you not to trust me otherwise!" At his question, she nodded her head, seemingly interested in what his reasoning was. "Sure! If you don't mind. "

			            Leonora

The sun shone brightly upon a lone figure walking slowly across the endless plains. A young teenage girl of golden blond hair, clad in what could only be described as a mage robe, teal and light blue in color. It had a few decorative ornaments on it, and flowed down to the ground almost to that of a blooming rose. The faint sound of her accessories making soft jingling sounds as she walked across what looked to be desert with little greenery around. Of all her time here, which was quite a few days now, she hadn't come across one single town or village, not even human life! She did however, run into many small creatures in which she had to cast a few spells on to protect herself against them. Luckly, they were weaker ones. She just hoped no stronger one's would come out for her. She was completely exhausted as it was, and this robe was not keeping her cool at all! Every night she would find herself a spot that seemed to be safe, which was often in a cave or near some boulders.

Reaching up a hand, she brushed away a lock of hair from her eyes, then at that small attempt, stumbled forward as she lost her balance due to feeling light headed. The heat, was just to much for such a young girl to deal with, with little water at that. If she found any streams again, she probably would just stay there a while. Who knows how long she would be wandering the plains, lost and clueless as to where she had to go? She would die if she didn't find water or food at some point.Or have a heat stroke!

Resting her own body weight onto her hands and knees, Leonora gasped softly, breathing heavily as she got herself to sit somewhat comfortably on the ground there for a rest.It wasn't for a while longer that she finally got back up and started on walking again..

He took in a breath and started slow. "It started out as a target on my head. And I thought I could go into hiding with my family...One day, I went out for a scout, so we could move again. But...When I got back,...They were gone. No note, no...blood, nothing. I've been looking for them and I still have the hit on me." A tear fell from his eye. "I'm starting to lose hope of ever finding them..."

  - Shannon Silverstar -

"Maybe...maybe they got transported into another world? If there was no signs of trouble or anyone have gotten hurt that is the only thing I can seem to think of right now. But, where ever they are, I'm certain that they are fine! Keep that hope in you, keep it alive, and as long as you believe in them they will be. " She gently put a hand on his shoulder, in a comforting manor. "I'm sorry..But never lose hope.I will help you search for them, and try to keep you safe from who ever is searching for you..Why would anyone target you like that??"

Isabel walked along the outskirts of Midgar, having needing to get away from Midgar for a time. After all that was going on, it was driving her crazy! She was on her way to Junon, when the ocean became her primary source of calming. So, now she was off at the beach area, sitting there in the sand, her features held a grim look as she rested her head on her knees, her arms wrapped around her legs a bit while she got lost in her thoughts.

While she sat there all depressed, she didn't seem to notice the portal of darkness appearing a few feet off to the side of her. Three figures stepped out. One of Riku, Kairi,Phoenix and the unknown priest angel there, Zerith. Phoenix seemed to notice Isabel right away through senses, but didn't seem all that thrilled upon seeing her, really, it just made her all the more depressed! She was Nero's mother..the young teen sighed, moving away from the others. "I would like to be alone..you guys just go do whatever you want k? " She said to Riku, Kairi and Zerith before walking over to where Izzy was, she could see she seemed down to, and it wasn't hard to figure out why.. "Hi..." She said quietly, sitting down next to the lonesome blond there.

Isabel looked up, it took her a moment to register who was now sitting there beside her. Phoenix? She blinked a few times...Then....to Phoenix's own surprise grabbed her into a hug! "You're alive!! How? What happened?! That....thing...Azazel, was saying you were dead...And that's why he was able to gain full ......" She paused, stopping herself. Maybe she didn't need to know that just yet. Then again...... "...If you're alive...Maybe you can bring him back..My voice doesn't reach him...." Yeah, that was depressing.

I never thought it could happen to me...
Like the one that gets you..
 That you just don't see..
And now I don't want to be free...
I thought it was always to be...
That someone was waiting for me..
Cos it's cold outside...Yes it's cold outside of your heart...
It's a big world to face all alone...
And I'm begging you now just to come on home...
Cos I, I don't want to be free...
I thought it was always to be...
That someone was waiting for me...
You know that it's you I need..
You see I refuse to believe..
That someone's not waiting for me...
