"Ok fang put all your power into that Rage give this trapinch your best shot" Alex was getting in to the fight and bagon raced across the sand while the trapinch stood its ground

Though with an ease that would scare anyone he would catch with his pincers, and hold the Bagon for a moment before ....he would start to squeeze inwards.The pincers turning from that of an defensive stance and instead turning to that of an attacking one.
Squeezing inwards, it would start to bite into his flesh as the pokemon used bite.

"Ok fang counter with twister to get free of those pincers" Alex was confident he would get the trapinch with the twister counter

[Just so you know, you didn't really use a counter...that was actually your attack turn. The 6 was your defense roll, and the 6 was my attack roll ...the two are the same, and in order for an attack to work ....the attack must be higher than the defense.]
The attack would start with a force of winds ...it was enough to make the pokemon release as the Trapinch was force into those winds and away from his target. As he twist and turns in the air, he would try to make sure that he wasn't batter or harm by the winds as he seeks to ride the winds.

[It's okay, and let me go over damage, because, the next set will be up to you to calculate.
Okay when figuring out damage, you first subtract the two accuracy rolls.
19 - 10 = 9 dmg
Then since Twister is a Special attack, you will then subtract the Sp. attack from the Sp. defense.
7 - 6 = 1dmg
Thus, 10dmg in all. And since it's Twiser + 6 more on the user accuracy roll equals a flinch]

The attack would catch as the pokemon was literally thrown into the sands. His body hitting hard as he tries to get back upon his feet as pain would rip into him, and he would actually flinch. This meant that his opponent had another chance at attack or maybe, if the trainer wished it...a chance to capture the pokemon instead.

Alex pulled out one of his pokeballs "Ok tough guy lets add you to the team" Alex through the pokeball it enveloped the pokemon and shook once twice but would it shake a third time...

On the third shake, the pokemon would break free as the pokeball burst into pieces. It's eyes was strain as it looks over at the Alex and clicked it's pincers as it showed it's anger ...as it's eyes narrowed at it's opponent. The pokemon was determined now as he saw a shift in his opponents from that of the Bagon to the one with the pokeball.
Eyes locked, he wasn't going to let himself get caught again.

Alex wasnt intimidated at all he was thrilled he took out his next pokeball and threw it "This time you will be mine" the pokeball enveloped the pokemon again and began to shake slowly first shake then ten minutes the second shake then the third shake came would it click or would it break free

The pokemon was strong enough to break free the first time, but this time, he didn't have a chance as the pokeball's button turns from red to white. It was finally over as Alex would capture his first pokemon.

"Yes!" Alex declared as he picked up the pokeball "Mission complete I guess I should report back" Alex looked up and saw that the helicopter was long gone "well I guess I can wait or go on and battle some more"

A Numel was eating a dry cactus as he looks over at the trainer standing around waiting on the helicopter. It was truly up to him if he chose to wait there, try to find a way to signal the helicopter, or head further into the hot sands.
Was one pokemon really enough to satisfy him ...especially considering he had one more pokeball?

Alex noticed the Numel and decided he would catch it "Ok Fang one more fight and we get out of here buddy" He pointed over at the Numel "Use rage and take that Numel down a notch" The bagon charged at the numel with pure rage

The pokemon saw his opponent coming at him, and it was then that the Bagon would get the surprise of his life. For though the pokemon looked slow and steady ...Numel this pokemon was faster than the charging pokemon as he would turn to met his charge with his head down as he forgot his meal for a moment sought to knock out the pokemon in one blow with a tackle.
For the first thing, his professor had taught him was that he should never attack first if his speed was lower. Yet, this is what he had decided to do, and the Numel met that challenge with his own.
