A small hand tugged at Xistund's captain's unfirom. Haku spoke up, "Um.. Mister Drunk Blade? Why are you fighting? Why are you covered in blood???"

Taking the kick Kyo didn't moved having moved his foot back to reroute most of the energy of the kick. "And you always pick the worst times to do stupid things" kyo said pushing his stomach forwards to attempt to knock Xistund off balance before slashing his blade down towards his leg. His normal fighting style that Xistund usually saw was nowhere close to the style he was currently using each movement seeming to be flowing rather then be simply a hack and slash.

Xistund never took his eyes off Kyo and simply said "its just been a vary bad day for me Kiddo" he Kicked off on Kyo's stomach to push off father to doge the blade "I see you've gotten serous I guess i should too" Xistund said as he got up from the ground

Haku gasped as he made the connections. "You killed mister Big didn't you?!" and he held his teddy bear tighter. He looked on the verge of tears. "Why???"

Rushing fowards only a moment after Xistund kicked off of him kyo didn't give Xistund any down time. He knew he had to put everything into his attacks if he wanted to win. He wanted to win not only to take xistund's place but to bring him back and stop him from leaving. He didn't want to see Xistund leave but refused to leave the soul society with him. "Don't look down on me" kyo said thrusting his blade at Xistund and giving it a twisting motion.

Xistund put both hands on the hilt of his sword witch is rare and he swung up on kyo's blade in a parry and moved to slash at his ribs he would have said something to the kid but he had to keep his mind focused

Twisting his blade down he was able to mostly block the blade but still received a shallow cut to his chest before pushing xistund back away. He could feel the effects of his blade hit but it wasn't enough to do anything more the loosen up his body some. Rushing forwards kyo held his blade behind him as he ran doing a flash step just before he got to Xistund. Appearing behind him Kyo pulled his sword up in an diagonal slash towards his back.

Haku screamed as he felt the blade of Kyo cut some of his hair. He'd been standing directly behind Xistund. He'd been in the way of the slash.

Bakura was suddenly informed by the squad that had found Xistund. "Sir, I'm going to find Captain Xistund now, Sakyu, I could use your help." Bakura said and the girl nodded as the two ran out of the meeting hall towards the fight, Bakura only hoped that they could make it there in time.

Xistund pushed the kid hanging onto his coat out of the way so the wait made it so Xistund could turn and kick the blade but because of Kyo's twisting he got a cut on his foot and winced a bit as the flames appeared and then yelled at the captain "Get off my coat before you get hurt!" Xistund had to finish this soon "I was hoping not to use this till I really needed it" Xistund placed two fingers on his blade and moved them to the tip leaving a red line of his blood "Kanpai" he slashed with the blade as a small slash of Sake came out of the blade to Kyo

As Haku fell he clutched his teddy bear tighter and cried, "Come out and play for keeps, Suna hime..."and his teddy bear glowed a brilliant white light that could have blinded all close to him. Then the source of the light began to grow and change shape. The sounds of heavy machinery could be heard, and the sounds of a giant snake hissing could also be heard. The light slowly faded and revealed the shikai state of Haku's zanpakuto.

Smirking as he was able to Cut Xistund the black flames started to burn the area it was cut slowly starting to grow. Gritting his teeth as Xistund did his move Kyo barely made a movement letting the sake pass by him as he quickly made a dash for Xistund. "You should know by now like your blade getting sliced by mine is never a good thing" he said slashing towards Xistund.

Xistund pull his blade up to block the slash but then moved kept it moving up so both swards sparked off each other and at the tip he moved drunkenly out of the way so if kyo was pressing hard enough he would stubble and again Xistund's feet moved drunkenly behind Kyo to slash at his back
((kinda like Chu from Yu Yu Hakusho just to get a idea))
