Omega - Bedroom - Takin' Care of Business Every Day

User Image
Maddy had picking up beach towel of the floor of her room, ruffling her wet hair in it. the thing was still rather damp from the night before, but it worked out well enough. She'd forced a chair at the other girl, Blair, as she grabbed a shirt from her open suitcase. She swapped the wet for the dry, then turned. ('Oh boy, bra straps!' Get over it, people.)

Now, she was rifling through the closet, where she had stuck a small handbag the first day that they had arrived. In it was only a few first aid bits, but the wrap of bandaging would work for now. Maddy had her back turned on the girl, but kept an ear out for her. Blair was seated, but still... Just because Maddy had tried to help the girl out did mean that she trust her. Madison just had a higher level at which she would desecrate somebody's face than die Führeren.

At the first real sound, Madison spun, dropping the roll of bandaging in her hand. It was the door, she could tell. Honestly, she thought it was Narcissa coming up after her. that was more likely than Blair trying to blatantly sneak out. Not a brilliant idea, that. Instead, she was greeted by the tones of Gideon's voice. T'was not a voice she often heard. This may have well been the first time the older Alpha had ever talked to her directly. It probably wouldn't be memorable, considering his rather condescending tone. "...and you're the stupid one who wants to push it more?" she quipped, questionably, raising an eyebrow.

"What, might I ask, you here fo--..." she started, cutting herself off as the white haired one went about his business. She threw her hands up dramatically and stepped back to let him do his thing. Just as he had come, he left. Madison leaned towards the and pushed it shut behind him, giving a moderately loud 'thud'.

Maddy proceeded again with the bandaging of the burn. It was rather crude with what she had in the room-- the wrap went all the way around Blair's head, covering the cheek but also the eye above it. The girl tossed the rest onto the bed.

She turned back to Blair, and told her to "Get up." More or less grabbing her arms and putting her hands onto the back of the chair. Gideon was right about the search, though she wouldn't be particularly inclined to say that to him. Maddy began patting her down. What she found was a decently sized knife, strapped to the girl's leg. The Omega pulled out off, and pointed at the seat, indicating for Blair to sit.

Looking at the knife, Maddy spun it around in her hand. Meh. She could do better.

"So... do you mind explaining yourself, or shall we just break out Scrabble?" Her voice was blank, rather tongue-in-cheek. Sitting on the bed opposite Blair, she looked at her, trying to discern what she was thinking, and why she had acted the way she had. It was a bit ironic, because Maddy certainly wasn't thinking too deeply about why she was doing what she was. KILLJOY was the most likely cause of that. Her mannerisms were totally out of the norm, and she didn't even notice it.

Alpha - Catalina - Sleep Tight

User Image
Raine slipped off the edge of the bed, reaching out to help her friend slip under the covers for some much-needed rest. She mirrored Sophie's smile, reaching out and gently stroking the uninjured part of her head as the girl's eyes started to close. There was something maternal in Raine's feelings towards Sophie, the brunette wanting to take care of her and make sure that she was alright. After all, Christian would have her head if she let anything happen to their third musketeer.

As the floramancer said her name, Raine perked up slightly, leaning forwards to hear her friend's fading voice. She mentioned taking care of Billy, Raine's eyes moving over to the new kid, where he was still sitting in the chair. Her gaze was much softer than it had been earlier, the firefly no longer looking like she wanted to rip him limb from limb. She nodded slightly, turning her attention back to Sophie, who was fading quickly.

"Don't you worry about a thing. I'll make sure he stays out of trouble," she replied softly, smiling as she saw the girl's body relax, falling into sleep. For a brief second she just looked at the sleeping girl, remarking that even after going through everything they just went through she still managed to look nearly pristine. Normally it might have caused a twinge of jealousy, but all that showed in her expression were tints of admiration. Sophie was stronger than she gave herself credit for - braver than she liked to think. It was no wonder she was brought up to the Alphas.

Breaking away from the bed, Raine was sure to keep her steps as soft as possible, her eyes falling on Billy. With a slight jerk of her head, she motioned towards the door, silently requesting him to follow her. The least she could do was start getting to know him, though this wasn't the place. The last thing she wanted to do was wake a sleeping angel.

Omega-I am like Michael Phelps. User Image

Antonio peddled in the water, trying to stay afloat. Why was he in the water? He tried to avoid going into the water unless he had to save someone, or he was modeling. Antonio would do almost anything for a modeling job, not that he was ever invited to one. Well that was not true, he had plenty of opportunities, but he usually got fired, and over nothing. How was it his fault that all of the jewelry liked to hide in his pocket. Hey he still had that shiny in his pocket, or did he? Maybe he took it out, he knew he meant to. If only there was a way to check if he had something like that on his person, maybe he could get Forge to create something for him.

A small pout on his face he looked at Shandra with his single eye. God dammit it was hard to see with this eyepatch on, why was he even wearing this thing, Pirate day was weeks ago. Grumbling he ripped the patch off his head and threw it into the waves, there that would show it. Antonio would love to see it try to ruin his depth perception again. A smirk crossed his lips, damn he was good.

Wait why was Shandra telling him to calm down? He knew that it might have looked like he was over reacting, but that was not what happened. "I am sorry the eye patch had it coming, I don’t think you realize how hard it is to see with it on, and I think it said something rude about my mother. My dead mother Shandra."

He sighed at her continuing confusion. He had no idea why she was having so much trouble understanding what was going on, she was the smart one in the relationship. He was the pretty face, not that she was not pretty her self, it was just hard to compete with his level of pure sexiness. "The eye patch can't die roja, it is just a piece of cloth. Stop being silly." Seriously what was wrong with her.

A race, he loved races. "You're on." Poor thing, she was going to get beat so badly, he almost felt bad for her. But this was her idea. "GO!" Antonio lunged forward, kicking and stroking, propelling his body towards the shore. He was a shark, or a dolphin, or a penquin, yeah something like that. The sea was his home, and no one could beat him here. He smiled, the shore was just ahead of him, victory was in his grasp. Wait, was that Shandra? But how, he was winning, no one beat Antonio in anything, the only exception being a contest on who was the least sexiest. He walked the last few feet up to the redhead. "You cheated."

Bianca walked in at the end of one of Gideon's sentence and turned her head slightly as she looked at him. So this is where he ran off to which meant that the blond was the horrible woman that Bella had spoke about right? Looking at the blond woman for a moment Bianca was curious what made her so frightful but was in no mood to find out. Hearing Gideon address her Bianca perked up not at all bothered by him anymore and finding his kindness to be quite good actually. Anything was fair game as long as it wasn't on anybody's plate? That seemed like a fair thing. Nodding to him and smiling Bianca didn't try to hide her happiness.
"Okay thank you Gideon~" Looking around the kitchen to see what food was available she was very surprised to see for as many people that were staying here it didn't seem to have as much food. Perhaps that was why everything was fair game?

Waving to the Native American man Bianca didn't really feel the need to say hi yet again. Waving next at the one eating a tuna fish sandwich Bianca didn't think that looked very good really. The other new arrival along with herself was barely even spared a glance for the moment as she looked for food. While it didn't look very appetizing she settled for an apple taking a tiny bite out of it and chewing slowly. Nodding in Evie's direction Bianca quickly recognized her as the woman that had been with Bella when the spiders arrived. Taking another bite out of her apple Bianca barely paid the rest of the conversation any mind seeing as how the blond woman was talking to the Native American. The conversation was not something she found at all appealing as the woman spoke about being an Omega and being branded along with being owned. Was she the Omega team leader? Wow was she glad she was an Alpha.

Then Evie said something about everybody being drugged which Bianca found to be quite amusing really. She was drugged? How? This was the first time she had ate or drank anything since arriving. The simple thought of it was absurd and quite frankly Bianca dismissed the idea rather quickly. The others maybe but she was more clearheaded than she had felt in years. Bella certainly didn't inject her with anything. Returning to her apple she found it more appetizing than originally thought and enjoyed it thoroughly. Smiling at the apple as she bit into it again Bianca found the entire atmosphere to not really be to her liking. However she didn't really want to go swimming anymore at the moment. Fresh air did sound good however. Watching the quiet man get up for a smoke break Bianca considered following him.

While it wouldn't really be fresh air it would be away from this room at the moment and he seemed nice enough. Well that was sort of a lie since he hadn't said enough to tell if he was nice or not yet. Turning to the others in the room she took a bite of her apple then with a wave left the room quite abruptly not even realizing she hadn't introduced herself quite yet. Following after the man who had called himself Dominik emerging behind him on the front porch and looking out in the distance at what she could see of Bella, Gideon, and Dimitri.
"Hello. Sorry if I am intruding fresh air sounded good. Smoking is kind of bad for you." Not even considering how rude that might come off as normally she wouldn't have even considered saying something like that. Then realizing it she clamped a hand over her mouth. "Sorry. I am sure you know all about smoking. I am Bianca." Yeah a little late to introduce herself Bianca turned back towards the ocean to watch her new love converse. Even if she could barely see her.

Alpha: Beach / meeting the new blood.

User ImageGideon was happy Bella enjoyed his kiss once more and wasn't pissed at him for having to leave her not to long earlier. It was nice to be with her the two hadn't spent all that much time together since getting to the island. Then again Gideon had the bright idea to talk with Cissa. But to his own defense it seemed to of helped the blonde in the long run. Or at least he saw a change whether anyone else did or would is another story all together. With his arm still draped over Bella's shoulder. She wanted him to be nice to the new recruit. But really that was all up to this Dimitri. And that was the feeling he sent to Bella in the back of her mind.

He listened as she told him the new guys name. And Gideon could easily read irritation from Dimitri. Gideon over the years between his enhanced senses and training from before even coming to the institute learned how to read people. At the moment he knew Dimitri understood Bella was not one of the single ladies of the institute. And so long as it stayed that way no problems would be had. Then again even if the boy attempted to hit on Bella thinking he could win her over and take her from Gideon then the boy was sadly mistaken.

He felt Bella touch his hands where his claws would come out as she explained him to the new guy. It was a very general way of doing it but if one knew Logan then it certainly wasn't a hard thing to understand what the point she was getting across. And yep the boy knew of Logan well the Logan that generally those at the institute saw. Gideon, Bella, Evie and a few others knew there was much more to Logan then the generalization Dimitri spouted off.

"Yeah I figured your power was something like that." Gideon said after Dimitri said what his power was. He could smell the burnt clothing even here. "Either that or you found and pissed Cissa off and got lucky to only have your clothes torched." He said jokingly as anyone who has been at the institute more then a week knew of Cissa and her temper.

Alpha: Long Time Gone

They didn't have to say anything to her. She could tell by the facial expressions, the eyes, and the movements of Bianca and Dominik that they were confused by her assessment of the situation. That didn't surprise her or offend her really. Evie had been around the block enough times to have figured out the scenario but not the who and why. That usually came with X-Men research that their teams rarely did.

She put down the bottle of Jack Daniels after another swig and commented off-handedly to anybody still listening, "We breathed it in if you are wondering... but I doubt your are and most aren't going to remember the fact that I've been talking to them tomorrow."

Climbing up onto the counter top, she put her finger tips on the plaster ceiling to catch her balance quickly. Something fine touched her skin that didn't feel natural compared to the ceiling. Bringing her fingers down, she looked at them and caught the finest of dusts most wouldn't notice. Wiping her hands on her shorts, she moved towards the air vent. She didn't need to take the vent off the wall for her to figure things out.

"I will assume while we were all out last night somebody put it in the air system. No other time to get in here without detection.... and the surest way to get this all into our persons. Question is who and why... but again, I am pretty sure nobody cares but me right now."

Wiping her hands again she jumped off the counter without a thought to needing to lower herself. Landing on her feet gracefully, she wiped her hands off again. Looking around she sighed, "Guess it's my job now to make sure nobody kills each other before this runs it's course."

User Image Omega: Getting to know Raine

Sophia was clearly just way too exhausted to speak. But she managed to get out what she wanted to say. He looked at her with a smile, knowing that she was okay. "Don't fret about it chérie. I was just trying to help." he said grabbing Sophia's hand. He let go after a brief moment and leaned back into the chair. She asked the tempered firefly to look after him. It was a nice offer, but he didn't really need nor want to be looked after. Billy has just found some new independance out of all of this mutant fiasco the past year. It didn't matter, the least he could do was get to know these people better.

Sweet, sweet Sophia was fast asleep leaving the three of us alone in her room. Christian had up and left with the red stained bowl and cloth to clean up after all this mess. Raine notioned for us to leave and so we did, letting the small girl rest in quiet. Billy got the door for Raine. He waited outside in the hallway just before the stairs.

He was leaning against the wall with his arms folded across his chest. "So, who is this Cissa Sophia mentioned? She sounds like a a nasty one from the way she described her. Is she like my team captain or whatever?" Billy asked. He hadn't met anyone yet except for Christian, Raine and the lovely Sophia. And a small dragon girl; where she went off to he wasn't quite sure. "I'm sorry. In all the chaos we haven't really been introduced. I'm William Krane of Jacksonville, Florida. The sunshine state." he said with a big smile. "Which is really a bad name for it since it rains every other day. I mean it almost always rains. Always." Billy was just going to stop there for fear of rambling on.

Alpha - Catalina Condo (Hallway) - Billy, Billy Boy

User Image
Raine smiled as he got the door for her, though until it was shut behind him, the brunette seeing Billy leaning against the wall, she finally muttered a "thanks." Standing across the hallway from him, she crossed her arms over her chest, leaning back against the opposite wall as her eyes fell on him once more. He was the first one to break the silence, the firefly listening intently to him as he spoke, moving from asking her who Cissa was to introducing himself as William.

"Well, William, it's nice to meet you. Do you prefer William, or Billy? I'm Raine, originally from the midwest, but after my parents died I moved to Malibu, where it doesn't really rain," she said with a chuckle, clearly mirroring his own explanation of where he was from. She fell silent for a moment, tossing her messed curls over her shoulder. She had to think artfully of how to articulate an explanation of the Omega leader. She was certainly a complicated individual known to Raine only through reputations and a few isolated instances where she managed to catch sight of the girl. Their only real interaction had been the day before, when they were in town and attacked by those…bandits, for lack of a better term. She wasn't someone you wanted to mess with, she knew that much.

"If you're an Omega, then yes - she's your team leader. She definitely has a…reputation around the academy. If you're an Alpha, like Sophie and me, she can be quite a nasty piece of work, but from what I can tell she is pretty true to her Omegas. I think you'll be fine, so long as you can take orders and know when to keep your mouth shut," she said with a slight chuckle, hoping that she didn't scare him or anything. After all, Christian was an Omega, and he was just fine. There were divisions between the teams, but it seemed to depend on the person if that separation was a big deal or not. Raine couldn't care less what team any of her friends were on - she liked them for their own merits.

"You know, I can take you to meet Cissa, if we can find her, or you could come on a walk down the beach with me. You're choice," she asked, stepping down the first two stairs before turning back to look at him, tilting her head ever so slightly to see if he was coming. Either way, she felt like she needed to get out of this condo for a few minutes. The lingering sensation of spiders crawling on her skin and lining the walls was starting to make her feel nauseous again.

"Yeah me looking like i came out of a fight with 2 sabertooth tigers smelling like burnt garbage kinda eliminates some of the choices such as talking to animals." Dimitri joked. "But even that seemes like a better date than making contact with her."

He was of course talking about "Cissa." Dimitri did not know if her real name but based on what Gideon mentioned about her it probably wasn't. The last thing Dimitri needed to do was to call her Cissa and risk losing his precious clothes; when they didn't even know each other. At least he looked good naked though.

For Dimitri, this "Cissa" standed to two sides. On one side, the alpha playboy thought it was best if he didn't get a chance to meet her. Pissing her off would more than likely mean she was not a fan of Dimitri's jokes, or laughing, or smiling, or fun. Those people needed to be banished and not just the ones who didn't thnk Dimitri was funny. But then again it would always be fun to piss someone off like that. Especially since according to what Gideon mentioned, her powers had something to do with fire. Meaning everytime they would have a tit for tat, Dimitri could always take what she dished out.

"Is she on our team?" he asked.

User Image Omega: To the beach...

Raine leaned against the wall across from him, sort of watching him and mirroring his posture. "I like Billy better. William was the little boy I left behind at home when I came here." he replied. She looked away for a moment as if to contemplate saying something. Billy wondered what she was thinking.

"I am an Omega, yeah." Billy said. "I haven't really been preped on who is who yet. But now I guess Cissa is my team leader. She sounds like a hard a**." he said openly. He had a habbit of letting out a bad word every now and again even though he hated salor talk. That and any rude or vulgar slurring. "I can take orders, no problem. On the other hand... keeping quiet might be hard." he said laughing a little. He didn't mind that it might get him smacked in the face or worse. He likes to make a joke or speak out his opinion once in a while.

"So Malibu eh? You must be rich, huh? I come from a normal middle class family in a normal middle class neighborhood. Only thing nice about it was that it was a gated community and our neighbors made us a peach cobbler every holiday." Billy felt like he might be rambling again. He had moved from leaning against the wall to steping beside Raine on the stairs one step behind her. "I like cobbler. It's not quite like pie. It's sweeter." he said making it half way down the stairs. He stopped to look up at Raine. "We're going to the beach, right?" he asked, making his choice to meet with Cissa later.

Alpha - Enough energy for some last minute fun

Jack had tried to contain himself. Try being the operative word. He muffled two laughs before he spurt out bellowing as if the funniest thing he'd ever head was said. It was as she was setting down beside him. He took a few moments and a few deep breaths to calm down. He glanced at her face and almost started again before he looked away getting somethiong out of his eye. " Woo lordy. That makes me happy since I was really tryin for ya. But I was meanin in general. I mean I dun much wanna move right now because of the hiking slash swimming incident. Otherwise I'd have enough energy to keep going for that and maybe we'd be doin something other then that and layin around. feelin like a sack a potatoes isn't exactly fun." He pecked her on the lips and brought her hand to rest over his heart leaving it there as he ruffled his hair.

He had the laughing out of his system and he was grinning rather broadly when he managed to look at her. " whatcha wanna do later? A nap do me alota good, but when I wake up I'd like to make up for not entertainin a healthy beautiful thing like yourself. Be right down shameful." Both his hand covered her's over his heart. Like the rest of him, his heart was large, and just as powerful. Especially now since it ran without a hitch. For her sense of touch, feeling, it probably felt like her hand was was dribbling a ball. He pulled her down close to him as she answered his question a new one coming to his mind.

She seemed alot more open and fun loving compared to last night and having touched her in so many ways by now he got to wondering. Was she ticklish? He entertained the thought as he listened to her and watched her. Then like most the day he dicided to throw abit of caution to the wind and follow an urge. starting by prodding her midsection with his fingers to see if she would react and once he found one, before she could ask what he was doing he'd assault that spot with some tickling goodness. All is fun.

Ocean - You think you can take me on?

User Image
Shandra smiled lightly as she heard him take her up on the challenge. It was good, she hadn't gotten to play in a while and considering he boasted about being one of the best in everything...she was hoping he could hold up to it. And he had...for a little bit. Seemed that an endless supply of energy that she still had no idea where it came from won out in the end. Or it might have been the fact that she'd swam most mornings for an hour. Whatever it was, Antonio was passed by near the end to the shore.

How did she know she had just passed him? Well, when she turned her head she couldn't help but catch the incredulous look on Antonio's face when she did so. The idea that she had thrown him off of his game was more entertaining than the fact that she had just won the race - had won their game.

Yep, that's right...he lost the game.

Although she could almost taste the next words out of his mouth when the Hispanic omega walked up to her. He accused her of cheating, and she couldn't help but smile as she sat down in the shallow water as though she wasn't offended by it at all. In fact, she really wasn't. Most of the times she didn't try to show off, most of the times she didn't let others know everything she could do. But this wasn't like those times. In fact, it was just getting down right fun to leak out just how much she could do because of the fact that she didn't have to sleep and didn't bother getting tired.

"No, sorry," She said in a compliant manner to Antonio's declaration of the match being fixed in her favor.

One of her hands trailed idly in the sand, stirring up muck and knowing that it would settle as soon as she left it alone. Her wet, jean covered legs stretched out before her and she knew from experience that if she didn't replace them soon than that was asking for a whole lot of trouble. Well, not trouble, but discomfort. And at least he hadn't mentioned anything about her upper wear...points in his favor.

She stared up at Antonio for a moment before deciding on what she had to say next. Shandra couldn't help but wonder how far he'd go to say that she had cheated, or how much he truly believed that. Honestly, did he really think himself so high up that he thought himself a god? Maybe that was her whole purpose at these games...trying to take him back a few pegs. Not like she was the model of humility...but she was Omega...some superiority complex was expected.

"How do you figure I would have cheated Antonio?" Shandra questioned, a playful tilt on her words as she wiggled her toes just under the waters surface, enjoying the coolness that she'd sorely missed with the limbo and the stitches.

She couldn't help but notice that she didn't feel so...hyper anymore. Maybe that weird spell of a time had worn off? Or maybe the water had done something to cool her temper...cool her all the way down.

Unlike Peta...

Oh s**t, she was so hoping that Antonio or Peta didn't let that leak out.

Seriously what had she been thinking? Not like it had been her first...or even counted on one hand...but still...

'Okay...stop...focus...mind off of that now,' she mentally berated herself.

"Why don't you sit down, the water isn't going to kill you," the redhead motioned in the water, fanning her arms out as though showcasing its friendliness. "I mean, unless you made plans in the town...this is kind of a vacation."

Dominik Edipova
Omega- Porch- Trying to be social

Drivin' faster in my car
Falling farther from just what we are
Smoke a cigarette and lie some more
These conversations kill...
~Stone Temple Pilots~

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

User Image
He only managed to make it through one drag when his solitude was interrupted… not that Dominik had really been expecting any less. This place was bursting at the seams with people; someone was bound to stumble upon him eventually, though he had imagined he might make it through at least half of the cigarette before that happened. With an inward shrug at himself, he turned to meet the eyes of the person whose footsteps had trailed his own.

For some reason, he’d not been expecting to see the cheery girl from the kitchen…or, anyone from the kitchen, really. The conversations there had been very much alive, and most of the inhabitants seemed eager to partake of them, and whatever food remained within the fridge. It was the watering hole of the house and, as Dominik became momentarily more clear-headed, he’d remembered he didn’t really care for social hot spots. Perhaps this girl had done the same.

He looked her over as she breathed both a greeting and a slight apology for her intrusion, noting her softened features, and eyes so large they seemed almost unnatural…though, not in a bad way, really. The snippet about smoking fast killed the brief attention he paid to her appearance however, a slight chuckle formulating on his lips to replace whatever had been his original greeting.

”We all have our vices, yes?”, he said simply, not at all bothered about the statement. He’d heard it all before…from Gasper especially. Interesting how the man disapproved of Dominik’s habits so vehemently when he himself had such a vested interest in Cuban cigars. The hypocrisy of it had always tickled him slightly, though he’d never voiced the sentiment…their relationship simply wasn’t built on that sort of foundation, and adding any sort of levity to the pot just seemed…odd to the young man, despite how much his godfather might now be yearning for it.

The girl seemed flustered by her own statement, cupping her hand over her mouth in a dramatic fashion and apologizing yet again. He held his free hand in the air to wave the action away, simultaneously craning his head in the other direction to release a cloud of smoke into the air- people didn’t usually take well to the smell, and since this girl had already voiced her thoughts on the matter, he figured he’d spare her as much of it as he could.

”It’s fine,” He said, once the motion completed, olive-tinted gaze following her line of sight as it moved to the people on the beach, ”I’m Dominik.” The young man was starting to feel a bit like a broken record now; one of the many reasons he hated being new to any situations. Introductions were always somewhat awkward for him anyway…repeating them numerous times only made it worse.

Again, he looked at the people on the beachfront. ”Friends of yours?” He asked, accent drifting into the air like the smoke from his cigarette, bringing a noticeable lilt to his words. He glanced at Bianca as he said it, taking silent note of her odd expression as she watched them; it was a stupid question, but he didn’t really feel the need to scold himself for asking. For lack of anything better to say, the young man thought serenely, figuring Bianca might find mere silence from him uncomfortable.

Aren watched in a hidden mirth as Cissa's mood brightened enough for her to tease Gideon. She was much more attractive when she wasn't exerting her energy in trying to be scary. Well, no... not exactly trying. Had he been in Blair's shoes, he might have peed himself. ...Not that he'd ever admit that. Silently, he hoped that no one in the room had been gifted with a mind reading ability.

But quickly, his attentions were averted back to actually conversing when she said that the moniker would haunt him. "Naapi." He swore again, shaking his head as he grinned, despite it all. If he didn't owe her big time, and didn't think she was just so damnably cute, Aren might have grumbled at the blonde's insistence at the label.

Her face contorted into something harder, an edge to the features he sorely wanted to smooth out, and he relaxed a tad when her eyes found his, something within them giving way to a serene feeling. At her remark, Aren did a subtle glance down at his hands, just to make sure she wasn't poking fun at those being disproportionate from his prior shifting. Nope. Safe And then it clicked, right when he was able to copulate some sort of thought, the statement was meant to be indicative to something else, and a sly smile crept up into his features. "All the better to grab you with." He cracked, finding much amusement in his teasing. He succeeded in keeping any color out of his face; he didn't want her to think he was so easily flustered.

Though, he wasn't able to stop himself from laughing aloud at her wayward advice. "Can't have that, can we?" He asked, shifting his weight from foot to foot. "How then can I see the mistress who lays claim to me?" His tongue clicked against his teeth, the sound mock chiding. "No worries."

"Best not try to taste it then. Aren remarked, smiling at the blonde who was now level with him.

Another woman inserted herself into the conversation, sarcasm heavily threading her words. She was pretty -good build; Aren guessed her to be some sort of masochist, given the amount of tattoos that had been etched into her flesh. Her mouth was set with a note of disdain, as though she'd gotten a bad piece of candy. Raising an eyebrow in correlation with a growing smirk, Aren let his gaze linger on her. "Whiskey in the morning?" he asked rhetorically. Guess Scott was right; the junior teams are more intense personality wise to make up for the hell they go through. It was still all very new to him, and what with the funny feelings that had been drifting in and out of his system all morning, he was still trying to wrap his mind around the idea that he was one of them. "I thought most just stuck to coffee to get their kicks." He said with a shrug.

But soon after, Cissa snagged his attention again, abruptly ripping him from marveling at how many hours Evie must have spent sitting in a chair while someone dragged an inked needle across her skin.

For now, Aren forgot about the others, the new girl walking in (he absently waved at her), Jacen ready to tear into some tuna. (The ambiguity of the thought might have made him laugh if he'd not been so focused on), Dominik chuckling at he and Cissa's conversation.

Something about her statement on him being naughty made him scoff. For some reason she still thought he was submissive. Cute. "You know," He fired back, grinning ear to ear, "Calling someone naughty usually entails that a punishment might follow right after." She'd not so easily get the best of him like he was some school boy.

He couldn't help but think she was just a tad bit too nonchalant to her claim, as though she expected him to cater to her -no doubt, because she was a woman, arbitrary- whims. The native american made a mental note to defy her a bit on the minor things outside of assignments and whatnot... just to keep her on her toes. Just... not too much, given the condition that Blair would be recovering from for a while. A part of him hoped that it'd leave a bubbly scar where she'd been afflicted. Nice? No. Did he care? Not in the slightest.

Aren didn't move as she leaned forward, choosing to stay close enough that her words would easily wrap around his ear. "Is that a promise?" He inquired, feigning innocence at the innuendos that they were throwing to each other. "I might hold you to that." Chocolate eyes sparkled with his growing joviality.

By this point, a few had left the room, leaving more of Aren's attention to be fixated on the top Omega.
