"I need to stay too. One of the doctors told me that a little girl needs my help. Evidently that test turned out to be a match for someone else." Regina nodded. "So looks like I'll be staying too. We'll probably be done around the same time."

She was astonished that her sisters were special too. It was a fun ability by the looks of things but it was a shame that her little sister was so young. There wasn't a lot they could really do for now but once time took its course she was sure they would be seeing them.

For the time being though, she definately thought it wise to keep it all a secret. A couple of nurses came down the hall to get the gurls for their procedures. "Just bear with it Penny, we'll be in the same recoup room I'm sure. Then back to the institute... I'm still worried."

There were two guards positioned at the eastern entrance of the robotics facility. They looked rather bored with the constant patrolling. The two mutants approaching them were surely going to living things up. Quietly, Scion and Gambit pinced in on the guards, listening to them speak.

"This is the worst detail ever. And we're stuck out here in the dead of winter," said one of the guards.

The other guard scanned the forest's perimeter. "I know. It's not like we're needed here or any.....what's that?"

A still smoking cigarette butt fell to the guard's feet, raising his curiosity. Cautiously, he knelt down and picked it up, noticing that there was an odd glow to it. Almost as if it were a glo-stick. Then, it blew up in the guard's face. The other guard, frightened and dazed by the explosion was sent reeling against the door hard, knocking the wind out of him. Scion made sure he wouldn't get that wind back by picking him up and stabbing him hard in the chest with his clawed fingers.

"A little vicious, eh?," Gambit commented while looking for a keycard on the guards corpses.

"Would you rather me be alot vicious?," Scion said. "And I think you won't find any keycards on them. They seem to be let in and out from the inside."

"Then we should let them know we have visitors."

Scion grinned wickedly at that thought. Without hesitance, he walked up to the door, and had one passing thought. Power up NOW!!!

With two hard thrusts, he dug his clawed hands deep into the steel doors closing the inside off from the two and starting to tug as hard as he could. He twisted, yanked, and pulled, but it seemed to not be working. Then, suddenly, he thought again about getting stronger....which he did. Effortlessly, he tore one of the door's from it's sliding hinge, and tossed it to the ground behind him. Immediately, there was an alarm blared.

"Nothing like a subtle entrance, mon ami," Gambit remarked as he ducked in ahead of Scion. Scion said nothing as he followed close behind. All around them, they could hear the sirens blaring, and Scion could see many security cameras. They were definitely not playing this one as sneaky as the could or should have.

"Gambit!! Guards ahead of us!!!" At that command, Remy let loose with a barrage of his kinetically charged cards that exploded as soon as they landed near the guards, sending them sprawling. "Tip of the iceberg.....where's the engineering lab?," Scion asked his friend.

"Third Floor. The entire floor is dedicated to their robotics design team."

".........Good. Can you stay alive long enough to keep the guards off of my a**?"

"Can I ever, mon ami?" With that, the two split off into different directions.

"They've split up sir."

"Good. The taller one. He'll be easy to take care of. The other may prove a bit more difficult."

"Shall I start the procedures to unlock our cryonics experiment?"

"Of course, Sergeant. And make it quick. These two are making our specialized troops look like fools."

Scion had walked a good distance on the first floor until he found the elevator. As he got in it and heard the elevator click on, he tensed up. The calm before the storm was where he was sitting at. All of a sudden, the elevator stopped between the second and third floors. "...............Peachy," Scion muttered as he jumped up and punched out a big hole in the elevator's ceiling. After he landed on his feet, he jumped again, caught himself on the sides of said hole, and proceeded to climb up.

"This is just what I needed," Scion said quietly as he started to climb up the elevator shaft by stabbing his hands into the walls. Slowly, he was ascending to where he needed to get to. He was at the second floor when he heard the elevator start up again, heading straight up. Without warning, it stopped at the second floor with Scion on top of the elevator, and a small squad of heavily armed guards piled in.

Fools...., Scion thought as he grabbed hold of the cables that held the elevator in place and dug his claws into one of them. It took him a minute or so, but eventually, he had frayed the cable enough that the weight of the guards would break it free. No sooner had he regained his grip on the unfrayed cable that the elevator moved again, only this time there was an audible snap and the elevator went crashing to the ground. Scion was sent upwards.

Unfortunately, the velocity of the cable was so fast it shot Scion a few floors higher than intended, so he let go and freefell for a few minutes. When he felt he was where he needed to be, he jabbed his hand hard into the wall, nearly wrenching his arm out of socket. He winced in pain for only a moment. He was at the third floor, twenty feet below the door to be precise, and he didn't know what awaited him on the other side.

((OOC: Wait... *ish confused herself again* Someone else is running around with my mutation now? Scary... *isn't known as the Reaper for nothing*))

Katori was the first to notice the man standing there, and the mutant hunter stood with a fierce snarl. Raine reacted as well, grabbing the canine's neck fur and pulling him back before standing herself; so that she was able to meet the other's eyes.

"Hn. More people.... The name's Raine; but I mainly go by Reaper."

She said offhandedly; unruffled and cool. Especially for a mutant holding a 'mutant hunter' back from ravaging the person that stood before her.

"I'm only here for a while...I guess."

"s**t..." Regina groaned, the pain was dulled due to the medication but she could still think straight and at that point she couldn't remember who might be able to give them a lift. "How's Anna doing? Think she'd be available?"

She sighed, it sucked being one of the few people that had their licenses in the institute. "OH. How about we call one of the teachers? Ororo drives the jet, I'm sure she could manage a car... Or how about Logan?"


Gen blinked at the two in the professor's office."What do you mean trouble maker?" she asked, unsure of what was going on. "You hardly know me, you can't judge me for that."

She figured it was her hair. Black and purple streaks wasn't exactly a normal and wholesome style but she didn't care. It was her own style and she was content with it. Or maybe just her darker than usual attitude. Whatever the case, it annoyed her that someone would judge her like that because of her appearances.

ooc: and i'm sure that's not why freya said it, but just to give Gen some kinda personality XD

OOC: In that case Kadiska, maybe both characters can meet. -_^

IC: "I'm saying this because I've heard of you," said Freya.

"Fine. Chit chat all you want. I'm going to find that guy and kick his a** out of here."

"Pietro or the intruder?"

"BOTH OF THEM!"

Wanda stormed out of the room, not caring if she was disturbing the rest of the mansion. She was going to find that soul sucker and get rid of him. Knowing her brother, he would certainly try to go after the guy to prove his superiority.

She saw students coming out of their rooms and looked at her, surprised by her looks and her expression. But she didn't care if they were all looking at her. She just get going, searching the house for the soul eater.

Freya shook her head. "My, my... I guess we won't be able to stay hidden very long. I guess I should stay here and take care of the professor but none of you will trust me I bet."

((OOC: If that happened, all hell would break loose. Hey, that sounds like fun!))

Of course I do...the only problem is that Pyro might get blamed for something he didn't do. And you did it whithout inviting me in on the fun.
