Saber smiled a little, proud of her bravery in this. But he'd still keep her safe, no matter what. He returned the kiss, lightly brushing her cheek with his hand. "I'm going to love living with you, no matter where we are."

Tristian paused at this and looked to Lucius almost sideways. A relative of mine? He nuzzled to his love a moment and let his eyes fall shut, taking a deep breath to see if he could smell this relative on him. Oooh, Jeika. Was he nice to you? he asked, wrapping around Lucius a bit and kissing his shoulder and neck some.

Toki silently nodded her response silently, her eyes following him away from the desk until he dissappeared into his office.
She yawned and stretched slightly, humming quietly to herself as she waited for his return.

Ophelia smiled, softly, nuzzling his nose and slipped out of his lap, slipping back out of his lap, into her own chair, "Come on. finish eating and lets hit the sack, it's etting late."
Lucius sat back, cupping Tistian's cheek gently and smiling, "He was civil, that's all I ask. I just . . . ." He paused, thinking, quietly for a moment. "I didn't like the look he got in his eyes when he talked about you. It made me worry a littie."
Bastian returned with a clipboard full of paper,s, studying them with a lazy expression. "The farthest away it looks like I have is room 12 on the first floor." He held the clipboard out to her, a pen in his other hand. "If you're interested in renting it out, you'll need to fill these papers out for me."

Tristian looked to Lucius a moment before tilting his head just slightly. What do you mean, love? he asked softly, sort of nuzzling to Lucius' hand on his cheek.

She nodded and took the clipboard and pen from him, looking over the papers and filling out pages boredly.
A slight yawn escaped her lips as she filled out the last page and handed the clipboard and pen back to Bastian, a bright smile gracing her face as she did.

Saber grinned at her then nodded. He had at least fitted the bed with a sheet but he had gotten lazy and didn't put anything else on it. Thankfully, there were enough pillows and blankets to sleep with. "We'll have to figure out what else we'll need around here. Well, other than the rest of your stuff, but we'll leave that 'til morning." He then settled in to finish his meal.

He shook his head lightly, smiling and shifting to look at Tristian straight on again, "Ah, I don't know, he just . . . clashing personalities, I guess. It's nothing." He cupped Tristian's cheek in his hand, gently, nuzzling into his shoulder and sighing pleasantly.
He slipped from sight and returned, fairly quickly, holding a small keyring. "Here ya go. I'l see you around." He smiled, lightly and set the keys on the desk, motioning lightly with his head. "Straight down that hall. The doors are numbered, you can't miss it."
She nodded, gently, eyes rolling over the bare walls, contemplatively. "I think we should get a fishtank. Not right away, I mean. After we get a little settled."

Saber stared at her for a momet before looking around the apartment. "A fishtank? Like, with fish in it?" He had never really thought of fish as pets. He would have rather had a dog.

She lifted an eyebrow, grinning lightly and said, bluntly, "No, I thought we'd buy a little mermaid and keep her in there. What else would we put in a fishtank, Saber?" She tok a bite of her noodles before continuing, "But you don't like fish?"

Saber snorted in his food when hearing Ophelia's replied then had to clear his breathing before replying back. He actually did know of a mermaid they could bring in but he doubted Leilani would enjoy living in a fishtank. "Well...fish don't do much. They just kind of swim there and wait for food." Though, if she really wanted fish, he wouldn't deny her.

She nodded, thoughtfully, then murmured, "I suppose. I keep forgettign you're more a doer than a watcher like me. I love just watching them they're so neat. I mean, we had a tank for a while, before we moved here." She paused again, taking a drink, pushing on, "Do you think you know anything you'd like?"

Finishing up his food, Saber stood and began cleaning up as they talked. "We could still get a tank if you want and you can pick out some fish to put in it." To her question, he stopped for a moment and wondered what she'd say. "Well...I've always been something of a dog person but never had one because of traveling. I think one day I'd like to get one."

She tilted her head, thinking, quietly, before hopping up to help him, "I like dogs. A small one, though, maybe. We wouldn't have room for something big. But not one of those awful yappy dogs."

Saber laughed a little then continued cleaning up. "No, no yippy dogs. Those drive me up the wall." His mother had had one at one point and he hated the little thing. It made more noise and demand more attention that his little sister ever had.
