Tora's eyes went wide as she looked down at the magic book, it was old, looked valuable and the runes carved into it looked advanced. She was about to ask where he got such a thing and drag him to the nurses's office so he would lie down when the girl walked up to them. She tensed as she saw Sean's usual reaction to all those non-human, only relaxing once the sharpness in his eyes dimmed down a bit, telling her he wasn't going to jump. She knew he couldn't help reacting like this especially when someone snuck up on him, but she wished he wouldn't. It couldn't get him many friends. People already talked about him ( gossip being the plague of schools it always was) Non humans were hostile him for obvious reasons, ( Tora had even heard a group of vampires talk about jumping him, and wasn't surprised when they went missing shortly after) humans disliked him because being human they drew the wrong conclusions about him. Sure enough even now..Tora's eyes narrowed as she picked up what a couple of girls -humans- were saying, by the lockers not to far from them though far enough she knew Sean's human hearing couldn't possibly pick it up. ( "he's that weird guy I told you about they saw he has like 3 guns"..."stays over at that motel....never goes to class, always skulking around"...."I saw him rounding the graveyard! I mean who does that!"..".they say he's some kind of weirdo-cult person") She bit back a growl and forced herself to focus on the people in front of her. Being what she was she was used to hearing things that annoyed her and was able to tune them out, though she still felt like telling those people off. She looked at Sean picking up on his hesitation and decided to help him out. "For crying out loud Sean you can't possibly hunt like that!" she snapped shoving Sean forwards slightly so that he was in front of the girl, before addressing her. Before he could say anything more to her and maybe make her retract her offer. "If you could heal him, we'd appreciate it" she said politely "He's been hurt pretty bad, and I'm pretty sure he hit his head"It would certainly explain why everything she sensed from Sean was so muddled. "I'm Tora by the way" she said smiling at the girl amiably.

☽Kaniedie Wolfsbane☾Were-dragon mercenary & Draconian demon-slayer " Allo, I'm Kaniedie Wolfsbane of the Were-dragons... So, you are a Hunter-- Sean was it? Nice to meet you, I'm a kind of Hunter myself-- when I'm not forging something in my shop" Kaniedie replied, smiling warmly after a moment of judging their responses. Taking off her gloves, she carefully examined his shoulder and chest, moving pieces of clothing out of her way as she gently laid her bare hands on the shoulder wound first, before he could object with another less friendly tone. Closing her eyes a moment she focused her energy. When she opened her eyes again they were icy and snake-like, glowing blue as Draconian markings appeared over her body and slid down her arm and onto Sean's wound... But was it such a good idea to heal a Hunter-- one who might try to harm her should his superiors give the word? Lost in thought, she unconsciously glanced up, freezing and staring at the book in Tora's hands " ... W-where did you get that?" she growled, the runic markings disappearing as she took her hands off Sean's wounds and stepped away-- all calm, friendly, feelings gone and replaced with an icy hostility.

Tora's eyes widened as she picked up the girl's hostility shot fear trough her, She had never fought anyone, nor had she ever done anything to warrant it. "Th-this book?" she said "um..I...found it. At the lost and found and"She knew she sucked at lying but she had to try. For some reason she couldn't just sell Sean out.

Sean flinched glaring reproachfully at Tora as she all but made the choice for him. Bossiest woman I've met in a while, he thought annoyed but did not argue further as the woman who called herself Kaniedie Wolsbane...why did that name sound familiar? Introduce herself and talked pleasantries to which Sean only nodded, only half-listening. flinching as hands once again hovered over his wounds. Looking on as the markings slid from Kaniedie to him. He then saw her freeze and start to growl at Tora and he thought back to what she had said about having a shop "No way that's her shop, no woman's that good with weapons" he said under his breath. Then he sees Tora's face and realizes, that hell yes she is. He feels guilt at having stolen from another hunter, something he would never do unless there was no choice. Without warning he spun on his heel, taking Tora and running down the hall. He couldn't do a confrontation, and he still needed the book, and Tora. "I'm sorry bout the glass," he called over his shoulder his voice oddly sincere, running faster despite his body's protest .You slow down, you die he tought to himself. Not nesserily true, but familiar and possible enough that it made him run faster. "You suck at lying Tor'. Hey, what are the chances you'll still do me that favor?"he asked the tigress maid as he dragged her trough the hall

"The wendigo...Tora I need your help listen!" he said rounding a corner and hiding he looked behind making sure he wasn't followed "There's a spell in the book, I can't read it only a true witch can" he rolled slumped against the wall, unable to keep running just yet and took out his gun glancing around nervously going over everything he may have heard about were-dragons. How much time did they have before they were found? He'd have to start running again. He frowned when she brought up the book. "I..took it. Okay? Yes. I took the damm book! People are dying and in danger, there's a horde of bloodthirsty super speed demons on steroids out there and even if the store hadn't been closed I couldn't have been able to buy it. Forgive me if my right and wrong needle is a bit skewed" he looked around again "I need your help. And I need to explain" he said in the same oddly sincere tone he had used to apologize to Kaniedie "and we need to get out of here before Wolfsbane finds us takes the book and depending on how pissed she is, leaves me out of commission for a while" he couldn't loose the trail now, he'd finally figured out what he needed. Had finally got a plan together.

☽Kaniedie Wolfsbane☾Were-dragon mercenary & Draconian demon-slayer " OI! Get back here! xsio.." Kaniedie shouted, cursing in Draconian as Sean ran off. Growling, she used her Partial Transformation ability to increase her speed and agility; her legs and arms becoming partially spiked and scaled as her horns and tail formed on her still mostly Human form. Reaching into her pockets she drew a handful of throwing knives, each one fitting between her knuckles as she aimed them at Sean's legs before he disappeared, making her bristle with irritation. Why did the thief have to be a Hunter of all things? Unable to see where he went, she stopped and took a moment to look around, using the bloody scrap of clothing she had snagged off him when she was going to heal him to help her find his scent trail " Damn, its so hard to pick out just one scent with all these Humans and other non-humans around...." she muttered, gripping the cloth in frustration as she added, " Get out here and face me before I hunt you down in my full form! I might kill a few people in the process, but I'd rather die than let a little thief use that book for his own personal gain and end up destroying the entire city!" she threatened coldly.

Sean's eyes hardened as the dragon threathened to kill. The hunter in him demanding he put a bullet between it's eyes before it hurt someone. A couple of guns ( Glock and desert eagle) and a riffle along with a few knives were all he had at the moment. And he had been planning to use them to hunt down the wendigos. If he revealed himself, his plan and knowledge went with him, who knew how much the wendigo would kill, or how much more dangerous it would become if it preyed on non-humans. If he remained hidded the dragoness might just carry out with her threat and people died anyways. And she was tracking them, Sean would bet his life she was. Shiters and weres, all beasts were known for being near impossible to loose. "Tora get out of here" he said standing with some effort, Tora was the flowerchild of the supernatural, she had never killed, never harmed and Sean would be dammed if he got her hurt. He all but threw a notepad at her "all that needs to be done, all that needs to be read is there. The pages to the spells, at least 5 of them, get help if you have to, but make sure they are cast, wait for me by the Bryceway Motel off campus, if I don't show, if I can't hunt there's a number for you to call and they will come take care of things. Do not get involved after that and do not go in the woods. Hunt somewhere else, buy meat from the market, whatever. Just stay away from all trees for a while" with that said he shouldered the riffle peeking out of the corner and taking aim at the dragoness recalling all he could about hunting dragons. Which was not much. Sean had hunted shifters, skin walkers, werewolves and okamis but never the head honcho of all beast, The child of the sky, the one above all. Dragons...they hadn't been seen in years, were beleived to be extinct. He recalled his father had hunted a drove of dragons, before coming to America( and before Sean was even born). 30 hunters had gone in, 5 -his father included had come out-, they had been slayed with blades forged with the blood of a dragon, the only way to kill one for sure, as a child the history had fascinated Sean, but after a while he had let it go, since he never thought he would have to face one. He should have really known better. Mclays were known for pissing off supernatural powerhouses. "Go Tora" he said sharply making it an order rather than a sugestion "I'll cover you" and he would. He wouldn't let any harm come to Tora.

☽Kaniedie Wolfsbane☾Were-dragon mercenary & Draconian demon-slayer " Are you going to hide over there all day?" Kaniedie asked, her sharper hearing picking up on Sean's words. Carefully walking closer, she reached for the back-mounted hilt of her sword-- thinking of it, how did she not scare people with the sight of all her weapons, not even her light gear ones?-- gripping it more as a precaution than for an actual fighting circumstance. Although she was still pissed off about finding out the thief was a Hunter and that they had stolen such an ancient one of her magickal books, she forced herself to go into a more calm seeming state, hoping she could manage to act reasonably instead of recklessly with all these innocent people around " Give me the book back, little Hunter, and I shall return it to the safety of my keep without harm to both you and these people... That book has some seriously dangerous magick inside it, you must understand that I can't simply let it go about the city with the number of dark creatures about here" she reasoned, although perhaps more icily than she had intended to.

Tora's eyes went wide as fear shot trough her by what both Sean and Kaniedie said. She wasn't used to violence. She couldn't help but think about her brother who was still in Astronomy class. Between Kaniedie and Sean they would turn the hall into a battlefield before either of them got what they wanted, and both of them would get hurt (Sean was already hurt!), not to mention students could get caught in the crossfire. Seeing Sean' eyes get that look she knew it was only a matter of time. "For the record this isn't helping my impression of you" she whispered to Sean though being a shifter herself ( and descendant of dragon shifters) she knew full and well there probably weren't thick enough walls to keep them unheard. Before Sean started to respond she muttered a quick shielding spell under her breath to keep the book hidden from view. It was more or less invisible now, she then did the same for the room so that Kaniedie would not find Sean before Tora (hopefully) talked her out of killing Sean adding an isolation spell which would keep Sean from leaving the room until Tora (again hopefully!) convinced him to give the book back, as well as keep him from following her since only the witch who cast the spells could break them. He'd be stuck there until she came back. If I come back, she thought before cursing herself for thinking like that. She then turned into her tigress form and walked out towards Kaniedie making sure she came from a different direction from the room Sean was in so as to keep her attention from it (even if the cloaking spell would keep her from finding him) "The only reason he is hiding is because he is still too hurt to fight close range" Tora said turning to her human form behind Kaniedie, she used her empathic abilities to will the dragon to calm down and listen to her ( and not attack her...yeah that'd be swell) She didn't know if they would work like they did on humans, but it wouldn't hurt to try. "although even that will not stop him for long if he believes you'll endanger someone" she tried to keep all reproach from her voice but couldn't help but feel slightly irked at both Kaniedie and Sean, she simply did not understand hunters, all they did was look for trouble and hate and kill. And Kaniedie's logic of dealing with a hunter by threatening to kill people didn't strike her any better. What the point in all this violence was she would never understand. "And the only reason he stole that book" she went on knowing she should talk while she could be heard "is because he needs it to protect the very people you threatened to kill not two minutes ago. Protect me and even if you are not willing to believe so"Because if his methods were a bit...questionable that was all Sean was trying to do. Keep what had been attacking people in the woods from hurting other people in Blue Moon and maybe even spreading to the city. And he got hurt doing so, and now here was someone who had offered to help him but now would rather let him bleed to death (if not kill him herself) Sometimes, Tora could understand why Sean got so annoyed with people. She kept all this oto herself however, aware that her moods were slightly contagious and instead focused on exuding calmness. Be calm, she willed the were-dragon you don't want to harm me, not really. Your reaction was just, but perhaps a bit..much. You want to try and understand why this happened. She wasn't sure just how well empathy would work in this case, if she could even influence the dragon at all, but she was scared enough to try. Because she was scared, she'd be a fool not to be. Kaniedie was more powerful than her and probably older and Sean had stolen from her, there wasn't any guarantee she'd hear her out at all and wouldn't harm her if it meant getting to Sean and the book. Specially since thanks to Tora's spell Sean was untraceable at the moment, not to mention the room was sealed. Sean couldn't walk out, no one could walk in. Yes, she was slightly scared, and she disliked violence, all the same she knew she couldn't let Sean get hurt. That she most likely would help him, do the spells for him. Talk a were-dragon out of killing him. The things you did for friends huh?

Hisako walked down the hall and looked at the doors. She was new and wasn't quiet sure on where to go but it didn't matter to her. She skipped classes a lot when she was younger. She looked down the hall and saw a few people. She sighed as she leaned on a wall. She didn't like talking unless talking to but if she was talked to then she would say hi, she wasn't really good at walking up and talking. It was the downfall of her, from her mother.

Sean frowned at Kaniedie's words. "Who are you callin' little" he reproached before he could stop himself, because really he was near 18 and anyways he was a hunter. Hunters were soldiers. Soldiers were not.. .little. The pain in his side ad leg flared up making talking not an option for a minute. When he was able to focus again Tora was talking to him and he rolled his eyes. This was why he hated working with non-hunters, they never understood orders or commands or that shoplifting was slightly better than letting a demon make a buffet of the students while you worked to pay for a book. Yeah yeah you hate me great big whoop" he said sardonically "every hates me sooner or later just go already!"When he heard no response he looked back to see she was gone and he couldn't see the book anywhere and for one moment thought she had actually listened to hm. When he peered out of the corner again planning to keep the dragon occupied while Tora made her escape and saw that the tigress was in fact talking to the dragon, and she did not have the book. So if she didn't have the book..and the book wasn't here... What does that matter! You have to get Tora away from there! He got up with efffort leaning on the wall fro support and made his way outside. Only to be unable to. "Of course, a spell" he muttered under his breath "Son of a b***h Tora!" he slammed a fist against the wall adding a throbbing hand to his list of injuries. Only the witch who cast a spell could break it, meaning he was stuck here until Tora came back. Or until she was no longer here to cast the spell. He slid made his way so he was facing the door and began to throw paper from the notepad at it, as soon as the spell was lifted he would leave, finish his hunt and, if the dragon hurt Tora, start a new hunt. He'd never hunted a dragon, if Tora got hurt he would have quite the opportunity. But first I have to leave, he thought as he kept throwing paper balls at the door and watched as one by one they bounced back from the shield the spell had placed.

☽Kaniedie Wolfsbane☾Were-dragon mercenary & Draconian demon-slayer " Tch, your at least three-hundred and eighty years younger than me.." Kaniedie replied, carefully turning her attention to the girl. She felt something brushing against her mind, trying to calm her down and keep her from attacking either of them. Wait, had she said they needed it for protection? Perhaps they had a reasonable cause and this all was just a little misunderstanding. She heard the words inside her head, but merely growled and pushed them away-- she disliked mind manipulation, but she could tell it was harmless... Sighing, she grudgingly reverted back into her fully Human state, but her eyes remained their icy serpentine look " I hope you'll forgive my rude behavior and brutish actions. I prefer cold calculation and heartless tactics, but being of Dragon blood tends to make me a touch bit protective of my keep. I'm willing to hear you both out, but don't think I shall let you slip away easily if you deceive me" Kaniedie answered, remaining wary of the pair. She wasn't swayed by the emphatic words as much as she was by the simple, more honorable purpose that she hadn't expected " So long as your companion is willing to stay near me long enough" she added, giving Tora a small, amused smile. If they were truly just after her wares for a special Hunt of something that only that book had she would gladly help them and even try to join them in their task, and they lied to her, she'd either attack or kill them. She didn't like the reasoning, but she wasn't one for pretending she could simply find a perfect, peaceful solution for both. To her kind, thieves were thieves, and a thief wasn't exactly the most popular type around them.
