Tora wasn't one for using any kind of magic so his claws bounced off the barrier. But that didn't stop him from trying again; only to once more bounce off. He roared at them and glared at them with crimson eyes.

Judus stared terrified his horse snorting and throwing up it's head. Mit's horse was aware of Tora, but didn't try to bolt, and the other nobles who had tried to escape found themselves faced with the same problems Tora had encountered.
"Tora. Calm down. Easy Tora... It's me. It's Mit. Wake up." Mit said in a voice that calmed most scared animals. "Wake up Tora."
Ambersky kept his distance and watched waiting to figure out what he could do to help.

Tora scratched at the barrier again and roared before he suddenly collapsed, still. He closed his eyes and groaned.

Mit passed through the barrier and walked calmly over to Tora.
In the Barrier a woman screamed.
"Tora... Talk to me friend." Mit said as he crouched next to him.

"Blood..." Tora said quietly enough that only Mit could hear him. His claws dug deeply into the ground like he didn't trust them.

Mit's hands glowed as he reached for Tora, "It's alright, just concentrate on my voice alright? You're safe with me. Everything's going to be okay. I'm here and the other people can't get to you. Just relax and let it all slip away. You can't hurt them, and you won't hurt me. I'm your friend."

Tora concentrated on remaining conscious, "You know how I get around blood..." He said quietly, "I'm sorry..."

"No forgiveness is needed..." Mitica said, lowering his hand into Tora's fur, rubbing his head behind one ear comfortingly, "You've done nothing I was not prepared for." He squeezed his eyes shut, "Tora... You remember how I wasn't feeling good this morning?"

Violet stayed like that for at least 15 minutes. Then she opened her eyes and stood up. She stretched her arms up over her head.

"Som-... Someone's..." He was panting heavily and moved to hold the side of his head, "Something's... magic... poison..." Mit's eyes rolled back into his head and he collapsed onto his side. His shield broke like a far too thin piece of glass, and the scream of a lady broke the silence that had been held for a few moments.
Judus urged his panicking mount towards Tora, "GET AWAY LORD TORA! AWAY!"
Ambersky dove from his perch to flank Tora and Mitica, "Mitica? Partner! Open your eyes! Mit!"
West pushed off the side of the tree and walked over, "More of the gardens... Or back to the castle?"

Tora remained where he was, unable to trust himself to move, "Mitica..." He said and put his paw on the man's arm.

West looked way from her checking the shadows for time, "Hours... Lunch is eaten out in the field. Would the lady like to have her noon meal outside the castle?"
"MIT!" Ambersky was screaming, as the wizard didn't move.
Judus finally fought off his horse and stood on his hands and feet next to the mage, "Mitica... Wizard this is not funny. Mit! Stop fooling around!" Finally realizing something was very wrong, Judus turned back to the few people still in the area, "Gaurds! Help me put him back into the saddle! We need to get him back to the castle now!"

"Then I guess we could wander the gardens some," Violet said, and then nodded. She started to walk forward.
