Akihito shivered as if somebody blew cold air over him. "Now, you remember what I called Rakuna? His mother is scary in a she-drops-her-kids-off-of-cliffs-because-she's-clumsy kind of way. Her and weapons should never mix!" He dodged a kick from Rakuna.

Austin nodded and laughed lightly. "Well, I'm sure she is sweet." Austin said happily.

"You could say that. Oh yeah, she's stronger and bigger than my dad as a wolf." Rakuna told Austin.
Akihito just nodded. "She could easily eat me in one bite. She's a wonderful fighter, terrible mother, full-time hassle. But, she's a heck of a lot more understand than Rakuna's dad."

As more stars came out, Akihito and Rakuna would identify the names of each one and tell which constellation they belonged to as well as the stories behind them.

Austin was so fascinated. He listened intently and finally around midnight he fell asleep against Rakuna.

Rakuna smiled and brushed the hair out of Austin's face. "Sweet dreams..."
Akihito watched Rakuna as the wolf and hume fell asleep. I'm still here. I should be lucky. No, I am lucky.

Austin snuggled closer to Rakuna in his sleep and slept peacefully.

Akihito watched the two of them sleep until he could no longer stay awake. In the morning, he was the first to wake. As routine, he went downstairs and started making breakfast.

Austin woke to the smell of breakfast and smiled. "Rakuna..wakey wakey, love."

Austin smiled and kissed Rakuna softly. "Akihito is cooking breakfast." Austin said smiling.

Rakuna nodded and sat up. He stretched, his muscles cricking. His hair had turned black overnight and his eyes were now icy blue.
