I'm not sure of Padme's allegiance to the republic in this scenario, she was definitely became anti-palpy but with him gone I'm not sure what her stance on the Republic as a whole would be.

FINALLY!! My final bio on Brike. Name: Brike Candu Age: 22 Gender: Female Species: Human Homeworld: Coruscant Main weapon: Vibrant blue lightsaber Side weapon: Blaster Affiliation: Jedi Order Occupation: Jedi Rank: Jedi Knight Personal Ship: None Short History: Brike's parents were Mandalorian, but were killed when she was only 4 months old. She was found by Jedi Master Obi-wan Kenobi, who took her to the Jedi Temple on Tython to be trained. She was a particularly difficult student to be trained, most of the other Jedi there were in constant doubt that she would become an accomplished Jedi because of her backround, and few other Padawans wanted to be her friend. But she pressed on, undetered by the dubious Jedi Council. All of her ancestors were Mando, so she had warrior blood in her veins and sometimes has a hard time controlling her temper, which is her biggest challenge. She sees Obi-wan as a father to her, but is unaware of most of her past besides what others have accidentally let slip.
Appearance: The lightsaber may look a little purple on some monitors.

Nelowulf Why secretly? Ten years is an awful long time to hide something. There's no reason they'd be in the Republic Knights at all, and the jedi would have found out sooner or later Padme gave birth. The secret doesn't exist anymore that they're alive, and more than likely Anakin's, so after the tongue lashing from the council, they probably are both prominent students on Tython. Although their births wouldn't be a secret, their father's identity could stay unknown. After all, Padmé would most likely keep them away from DNA testing, and it's doubtful that anyone would force the tests on the children. Unless there's a way to sense family bonds through the Force. Well, she was apparently friends with Bail Organa (or were on good terms, anyway) so she might think better of the Republic since he's the leader now. Or she could have followed the Jedi to Tython, or retired to Naboo. Regardless of any of the paths, she's likely not a politician anymore.

We've been over this. An 18-year-old Jedi Knight is very unlikely. Nelowulf Search your feelings, luke, you knwo it to be true? He is the son of skywalker? Etcetera? The only reason Vader knew was because Palpatine told him, and Palpatine has very strong insight.

Obi-Wan was there during Padme giving birth in EP III. He knew about it, but I forgot how. If it was during his an Anakin's fighting and all, then that might be different since things wouldn't have turned out the same way in this case.
Anyways, it's a given that anyone strong enough with the Force can sense it in others. The forming life inside Padme was probably noticed by a few such people, so it's doubtful it could be hidden for long, if at all.

I agree with Nelo and DA. It's likely the Skywalker children are alive and being taught at Tython with the other Jedi. It's probably also known that Anakin is the father, since all Jeid have to formerly get DNA and blood tests for confirmation of force sensitivity.
As for Padme, I'd like to beleave she's officially retired, although she still corresponds with Organa and Mothma. She's also probably a bit Pro-Confederacy, since the Republic is still largely corrupt and decaying, although she also realizes she'd never personally ally herself with the CIS, after all the harm they did her.
Also, and just a question, but asuming Ashoka Tano to be alive, would it be likely Anakin completed her training and became a Master?

Padme? Retired? I dont' know. She's too meddlesome to be totally out of the eye fo the public, although if she's not directly a senator in the republic, she's boudn to be a high note ambassador.

While she might not be a Senator, she still has tons of influence, and probably some other high job or position.

Actually, rewatching episode III, he comes to her in her private chambers to discuss anakin, to which she says he has changed, and the resulting chat confirms his suspicions. When padme goes to mustafar, she then tells Anakin that Obi-wan can help him, he knows, etcetera. This is what sends anakin into a rage, which then instigates the fight. Of course, while the fight never happened, nor the attack on mustafar, that's not saying much, but considering that it is obi-wan who guesses, and not padme who tells, it's pretty likely he knows well enough anyway. @ EK: Let us hope she caught a stray blasterbolt anyways... which went on to hit Jar Jar mortally wounding him too. @ marvel: personally, the upping of age also helps the image look more accurate too.
