Isn't that where you take snow and you pour flavoring on it? It seems that it would be completely unhealthy if it is.

Na not is you get snow off the top that no one touched.Ive done that with chocolate syrup to make ice cream when I was younger.

3nodding Yup, pretty much.
You take fresh snow when it has recently snowed, prefferablly deep enough to scoop up a large amount at one time.
Then add Vanilla and whipping cream or mild depending on which you have or on how sweet you want it to be.
Then just eat it that way or you can freeze it and then eat it like ice cream if you want it thicker.

It was always fun to do when I was little and got a lot of snow hear. Thers nothing unsanitary with it as long as you dont scrape if of the ground and get dirin it or something.
