Shandrel fell back as she finished, utterly drained of energy, Shan caught her deftly and helped her sit.
The grombie shuffled forward, placing a file tenderly in her lap before sitting with his dogs.
" I burnt the bar, sot hat My friends, would not die, I left the gang when it became clear, that for being your friend, my life was forfeit, i can only imagine what they woudl do to the barkeeper, or his family to find me. So i burnt it. to erase my trace there."

Twi focused on his clove. he felt ashamed, manipulative...
"you shouldn't have chosen to be my friend at the cost of your safety. the Kuros are a great family, if ruthless... i miss them already..." he knew there was nothing to be done about any of it now. too late to change the past. "well, you've got any hideouts? i can take you in if you need a place. least i can do after all the sacrifices you made on my behalf."

Luciano crept into Skotti's office, opened up the Cabinet, and he slowly stuck Twi's file back in. He let out a heavy sigh and he closed it up. He was going to have to hold his quest for blood on hold for a little while, because he needed to get better. He pushed past his own limits and nearly died, so rest was needed. No missions for a while- maybe sit at HQ to talk them through the mission, but not officially participate until he could move without grunting. He sat down for a moment and took a deep breath.

Shandrel looked at the file on her lap.
" Hideouts? i have a few. As for our current situation. I made my choice knowing full well it has all odds of costing my life, however, i will not tread on my morals, my integrity, or my honor. I have no regrets for it. Although, I am not known as you were to the Kuro Gang. thus it was perhaps an easier choice for me to make."
She flipped open the file, looking to see it's contents.

"what's that?" he asked, leaning over to try to peek at it.
"your file!?" he nearly burst out laughing. "HAH! that is epic!"
Devin went to visit Skotti. he had Luc's rosary in hand.

She looked up at the Grombie.
" Riggama, where did you get this?"
He made no attempt at appearing " normal."
" I got it from a Dark elf. I was at the beach with the pups, and he was apparently fishing. i left him a bag of food, and my cell phone. Needless to say i think he was a bit surprised. " The grombie rubbed his face, and a bit of stage make-up came off on his hand.

He glanced over at the bag again...

Inside was the most beautiful thing he'd ever seen...

The "grombie took a rag and wiped off the artfully applied make-up, underneath it all, apparently, was another dark elf.
" Well Met, Twilight, i am Riggima Jiggama."
Shandrel sighed, flipping through the file.
" I am certainly glad that i did not write everything about myself down."

Luciano looked up to see Devin walk into the office, "Devin," said Luciano as he stood "How are you today?"
"Could have been better," said Devin "And you, Luciano? How are you? Are you going to stop by to get your tattoo touched up?" Luciano nodded and then he said "Yeah, I will. Are you booked this week?" he asked. Devin smiled and he said "I'm free on Friday. Stop in and I'll get it done for you." Luciano smiled and shook his hand "Deal."
Luciano noticed Devin holding on to his Rosary, his jaw clenched and then he said "W-who. . who does that belong to?"
"You, apparently."
"That so?"
"Yeah. A, umm. . friend told me that it was yours. I'm just here to return it to you."
Luciano nodded and then he opened his hand, even though he knew it was from Twilight. "Thank you." he said, Devin respectfully nodded and made his way out the door, "No problem. See you on Friday, dear friend." "See you." said Luciano as Devin made his way out.
