"To sum it all up, during the fight will Alberan, we were sucked into an orb he was carrying and I've been stuck there since. It was recently your friend Jacques told me how to get out." Brom finished explaining, he had his hand around her shoulders and they were both leaning against her bike. Jarlaxel had gone aout twenty minutes before after learning who the stranger was, he didn't look happy when he left.
A portal opened in front of them and Axel stepped out dragging Jarlaxel by his forearm. Brom had been leaning in for a kiss but Kahlan quickly stood to greet the men.
"What are you doing here? I thought the guys were going to get the cure to Jacques, is something wrong??"

Axel pulls his cross bows. "You!" He points them at Brom. "You afre the one who did this, now because of you, things will be worse off, Kahlan, he, he...." He just moves over to him, and despite Brom trying to punch him, he solidifies his hand grasping the mans fist.

I spit water out, "You threw me! Jerk! That was a bit much....have I been corrupting you? Throw me in the water for no dang reason..." I kept grumbling as I looked around but went silent as I looked at the sun. I stooped down and picked up a pinch of dirt, "Smells of sulfur....this isn't a very nice place. It's also too dark!" I took the feather back out of my pocket and placed it back in my hat, activating the night-vision of it I looked around, at least it wasn't green like most modern nightvision....I never liked that.

Jamie smiles. "We are here, the world of Joring-kar. Really, its just the darkside of the Earth...." She lifts some dirt to her nose, and blows it off her hand after sniffing it. "I am glad my heavenly aura isn't visible here... it would stick out..." She smiles at Jairn. "Yes, Dreako, you have corrupted me like you did my father, and Axel before him, you are just a plain bad influence if you ask me." She moves her finger back and forth like a school teacher a bad student.

"What the -" Kahlan tried to smack Axel's hand out of the way, "What are you doing? This man saved my life in the past.." besides other things..
She wanted an explanation she knew Brom, he was a good man. One of the best she knew.

Axel lands the man flat on his back. "Say it Brom, tell her what you did. I am in your mind, one of the perks of being on a higher plane." He moves for Kahlan. "You are Kahlan, I presume? This man, your... Love, is the one who put Jac where he is now." He had a distaste for those who fooled the ones they presumably loved. Something he hated himself for even to this day.

Wow you sounded like a warning label. Yeah I had to come up with that to get some crazy soccer moms turned world leaders to calm the hell down. Heh nice..."

"What do you mean isn't Jacques waiting in the orb for the antidote? Brom what is he talking about?"
"Nothing honey, he's lying to you." Brom said with a slight growl you his tone.
Kahlan heard the growl though, the Brom she knew was always calm and friendly.
"No, Axel isn't lying to me, you are. What did you do?!"
"I took care of a little problem and now I'm going to take care of a couple more!" Brom escaped axel's grasp and went for Jarlaxel, Kahlan lunged and tacked Brom bring out her sword and pushing it against his throat.
"You will not so this. You will not hurt my friends. You will not hurt my new love." Kahlan was hurt, she didn't know what happened to Brom, but he wasn't the same.
"Axel what are we goi-" Just then she felt Jairn and Drako leave her range. "What now?! Jarlaxel! Jairn just went out of range! Do you know anything about this? We have to find him!"
In her distraction Brom shoved her off and took off, opening a portal and escaping.

Axel tries to capture the man, but is unable to he. He curses, and turns to Kahlan. "They are going after Jacques, you two are coming with me to find your parents and release this curse. And yes, I have something to do with that, its the fact that it was either Jairn or Jarlaxle, so I figured Jarlaxle had to stay with you. Now, let us be off, Jairn is with Jamie now, they will be safe in getting Jac back, and you shall be safe with me and Jarlaxle, but you hardly need it."

I opened my mouth for a reply when a very loud, very angry roar broke the air. I turned to the source of it and saw a large shape flying towards us, I squinted and zoomed in my vision, a very large black dragon was flying straight for us. "Um Jamie....I think someone saw that shiny little portal thing you made....Have...you ever fought a dragon?"

"Many, and yes, i think it did." She summoned a dragon of her own, Zealon, great Dragon of Holy. She hops aboard and pulls her spear. Her white armor glittering as her helm completes it. "I knew we would be fighting." She sees several shadowy figures come over the horizon. "Lets do this."

Kahlan accepted the explanation and went to her bike, what else could she do, she wanted to find her parents and now had Axel's help. Before she got on her bike she noticed the cloak. Right this is my father's! She rubbed the fabric then flung the cloak over her shoulders attaching it to her jacket. It was a very nice cloak.
"Connor is there a scent besides Jairns on here? More specifically is Gabriel's on here? It's been a while since he wore it, I would assume at least."
Connor trotted over, and took a whiff, "Yes mistress it is his scent I recognize it."
"Good, use this to find him please."

I reached for my daggers but Drako stopped me, "Wait....she can handle this, we don't need you dieing anyway. Aw dang...but I kill dragons good! Yes yes I know.....Well now what do I do? Stay out of the way and let the battle angel take care of it? Sounds good....So! How are things? I am trapped in a useless idiots body... Wow sounds like your having a bad time, who is it?"

Axel nods. "I need no bike, I can fly on my own power." He lifts himself. "Let us be off!" He looks at the... dmeon dog. "You shall lead the way Guardian."

Jacques lifts himself from the chair, and kneels in front of the man. "I shall hurt those that have wronged you. Your love will love you again."
"Good good, now go forth, intruders, Jairn and Jamie, are here, show me what you can do." He does it with no argue. But the back of his mind shouts no.

Jamie holds her dragons harness hard while she battles the black dragon. She jumps, and he wings bursting from her back, she flies to the other beings and then beheads them, and takes a sword to the thigh. She lands flat, and looks at the one who did it. She grabs the man and throws him, letting Holy erupt from her hand and throwing him even higher. He screams in pain, and she flares the spot next to her, sending bodies flying in every which way. "You will all die." She holds her spear, and then runs through many a man. Once done, she heads back to jairn. The dragons still fighting above them.
