Hikaru arrived at the front doors to the mall, looking quite excited to be there. It was her first trip to the place, after all, and there were so many stores! She barely knew where to start! Turning to Tomoro and bouncing on her heels, she glanced around at all of the different places to go, things to do, and food to eat.
"So, where do you want to go first?" she asked. "What kind of stores do you like to shop in?" Her eyes were practically sparkling with wonder at the opportunity to run around with a friend and have fun shopping for the afternoon.

Tomoro's eyes widened as she looked around here and there... so much to do... and so many people... it was incredible. If anything, this is where girls came together and acted like themselves, running around and buying everything in sight. There was also a downside to this, however... some people were looking at her like she was insane, with her eye... not to mention her clothing. It didn't add up to her personality at all. Tugging down on her shirt, Tomoro bit on her tongue a bit, and then followed Hikaru around.
"I don't really shop... and our tastes... are probably different..." she said, looking down, a light pink. Sure, she had a ton of cash to spend from her mother... but no store really hit her eye... and if any did, they'd probably have to look nice, with lots of brown, white, and black clothing in them...

"That's okay!" Hikaru piped up cheerfully, smiling at Tomoro. "We can just look around and stuff, then! There's plenty to do here besides stores, anyway - we can go to the arcade, or grab something to eat over at the food court!"
Noticing some people staring at Tomoro's eye while pointing and making remarks, she shot the group of people a nasty glare. Not wanting to start a fight, they simply snickered a little and walked off, still whispering to each other.
"Jerks..." Hiko said under her breath. "Don't pay attention to them, they don't know you at all!" Turning her attention once more to the many stores laid out in front of them, she placed a hand over her eyes and started scouting around for somewhere interesting to go, eventually just pointing off in what appeared to be a random direction.
"TO THE ARCADE!"
And with that, Hikaru began marching purposefully through the mall, smiling widely all the way.

Tomoro's eyes widened lightly, and she looked around, taking Hikaru's lead directly after her. What is... an...arcade...? She wondered this as her eyes glanced into the place Hikaru had brought her. The smell of burnt rubber, some guys' sweat, and a ton of mechanics instantly flooded her nostrils, and she noticed a few guys looking at her. "She looks like... an anime character..." she heard them say under their breath. Sure, she had heard of this... 'anime...' but it sounded addicting, something Tomoro definitely didn't need at the time.
She stopped at a small machine that had a pair of drums connected to a bunch of wires, and picked up one of the drumsticks, tapping it onto the machine. What is... this? She tilted her head to the side, and then backed up quickly when a small deformed character popped up on the screen. "WELCOME TO DAI-BU-KEN! INSERT 50 CENTS TO PLAY!~" After that, it bowed once again, and then faded into the screen, a bunch of high scores showing up. Fumbling with her pouch she had slipped on while she could, she took out two quarters, and slid them into the machine. A catchy beat went on, and Tomoro looked at the screen; apparently she had to beat the drum right or left to select which level and song she wanted. Within seconds, she beat 'easy' and 'I'm so Sick' by Flyleaf, starting the game.
She bit her lower lip in concentration, and hit the drums with her drumsticks every time a little spiky dot went by. At first, she hit only a few, but after that, she began to hit each beat. This is... kind of... fun... for a mindless game.

Hikaru stepped up near Tomoro to watch as she played the rhythm game. Smiling and dancing in place along with the beat of the game, she attempted to play along by herself, quietly mimicking the motions required by the game to pass the level.
"Hey, you're pretty good at this, Tomoro!" she called out to her friend after the first level had gone by, bumping her back to the song selection screen. "Do you play a lot of these kinds of games?"
As she talked, she started looking around for a game that would be fun to play after Tomoro had finished with this one. Noticing a Para Para Paradise machine set up in the corner, her eyes sparkled. That was definitely where she would be headed next.

"I've never... played this game in my life." She said just loudly enough so Hikaru could hear her voice. She had chosen her second song already; she knew hardly any of the songs on this machine, so it was a random one with a catchy beat, not to mention a lot of little notes. As she missed just a few, the amount grew quickly, and she kept her pace up, even though when she hit two or three, she also missed two or three. When the song ended, the little chibi character came up close to the screen and apparently 'kicked it', declaring loudly 'YOU GET A D!'
Tomoro's eyebrows furrowed; were all game characters this... rude? She quickly chose a different song with a much slower beat, and began tapping on the drum lightly, sometimes not even hitting it thanks to her light touch on the drums. That song ended as well, and she stood back as the character this time called out 'YOU GET A B! AVERAGE SCORE: C!'
Shrugging her shoulders, Tomoro moved behind Hikaru and sat down on what seemed like a motorcycle- reality game. You had to sway back and forth on the fake machine, and it moved that way on the screen... pretty cool.

Meanwhile, Hikaru wandered over to the Para Para Paradise machine, excitedly digging two quarters out of her pocket and putting them into the machine. She expertly scrolled through the menu to the song she wanted - Love Again Tonight. It was a pretty easy song, but it had a good beat, and was really fun to dance to. Placing herself in the center of the five sensors, she tapped her foot to the beat during the short intro before the song started. Once the notes started flying by, Hiko moved her hands in time with the beat, tripping the sensors as the arrows on screen lit up. She had obviously played this game quite a bit before, and managed to draw a small crowd with her dancing. When the level came to a close, she had only missed a handful of notes, mostly because the crowd surprised her a little as they gathered around to watch.
"Level complete!" she announced loudly, turning around to flash a grin and a V for victory sign at the people watching her. She then focused her attention back on the game, picking her next song.

Tomoro smiled lightly as she saw Hiko waving her arms around like a monkey that had lost a banana. This game... seemed very.... her. Acting like a crazy kid... Tomoro, of course, didn't stand up as the crowd formed; that wasn't her style. She wasn't able to see for a bit... but as the song came to a close, she was able to sneak a peak at the last few notes Hikaru was flailing about with.
She then moved her way to a machine with a crane, and a bunch of prizes. Reading the tiny, almost invincble print on the bottom lower left hand corner of the glass, it said 'MONEY WILL NOT BE REFUNDED. PLAY AT YOUR OWN RISK.' Tomoro raised her eyebrows, and inserted a dollar into the machine, as a small red '4' showed up next to the handle. Apparetly, the little controller thing moved the crane side to side, and a large red button made the crane fall...
Setting her sights on a an old, grey, worn down teddy laying among all the other animals, she looked at it sadly. Why is that... there? Nodody would want a ragged plush among all the other new ones... The teddy kind of reminded her of herself, and she moved the crane direcly over it, pressing the button, the crane falling.
The first time it missed.
The second too.
The third time the crane caught the arm of the teddy bear, raising it up, but it went no farther than that.
Her eyes practically burning with determination, Tomoro moved the crane over one last time and pressed the button, the slim metal claws moving over the bear's stomach and tightening, lifting it up over the large drop shoot. It then released, the bear falling out of the crane and to the bottom of the machine. Tomoro swept her hand into it, pulling out the bear and clinging onto it quickly, like a child that had lost an old toy and had finally found it.
It really shouldn't have been in the machine... its hair was falling out, one eye was chipped... it had probably been an old child's toy. Nevertheless, Tomoro took it up in her arms and made her way back to Hikaru, sitting back down on the fake motorcycle.

Hikaru finished the last level on the Para Para game she was playing, turning back to the people who had gathered around to watch her and bowing dramatically. "Thank you! Show's over, folks!"
Looking around, she saw Tomoro walking away from the crane game and sitting back down at the motorcycle simulation. Walking over and taking a seat on the bike next to hers, she smiled, pointing at the bear she'd pulled out of the crane game.
"Hey, you won something! Congrats!" she said, grinning and giving a thumbs up. "I can never get anything out of that stupid machine. I was always really bad at it." Laughing a little at this, she rubbed the back of her head.
"So, what's its name?" she asked, leaning over to shake one of the bear's worn and tattered hands.

Tiliting her head slightly to the right, Tomoro puffed up both of her cheeks, looking at the bear; actually, staring it down. What WOULD be a good name for it..? It was ragged... yet cute... soft... yet clumps of hair were falling out of it... It was then that it clicked. She didn't know why... it just did. Something in her made her blurt it out.
"His name... is Pulcharlmin." Immensely satisfied with her decision, she nodded her head up and down like a bobbling toy, and huggled Pulcharlmin tightly, lifting him up in the air. "Yeah... Pulcharlmin."
Standing up, Tomoro held Pulcharlmin close to her stomach, and began walking around the arcade once again, looking at everything there was to see. A lot of the games always had gore or fanservice in them... two things she didn't really like. Was there ANYTHING in this arcade that was even suitable for younger children?

Hikaru smiled, playfully poking at the bear's tattered tummy and gently shaking its hand. "Well then! Nice to meet, you Pulcharlmin!" Looking around the arcade for what to play next, her eyes came to rest upon the skeeball lanes. Tugging at the edge of Tomoro's shirt, she pointed over toward them. "Hey! Wanna go try out the skeeball? We can have a little competition!" Grinning, she rolled up one of her sleeves.

Yumi walked along the mall with Mr.Shunkums. She saw the girls that were at the battle before she walked up to them withe her pink hood still covering her face. She spoke softly "Um..hello ..there" She was shy at new people not like her sisters who were upfront. She found it uncomrfortable that she was different from them. She looked up her face still hidden. "I'm Yumi.... i saw you guys at the battle..."

Hikaru looked around for a moment, not actually remembering having seen the girl at the battle the night before. There was a lot going on, and she was mostly focused on trying to keep herself and Tomoro alive, so there must have been a lot of people she didn't notice. Still, though, she greeted the girl cheerfully anyway, giving her trademark smile and wave.
"Hiya, Yumi!" she said happily. "My name's Hikaru, but you can call me Hiko if you want. And this is Tomoro!" She gestured toward her friend, who was now looking at the skeeball lanes. "You like skeeball...?"

Yumi tilted her head and realized they were the ones in danger. "You know i can help you from keeping you two alive..." She had the power of transformtaion just the whole personality and such she needed. With her face still covered she gave a soft grin. "I never heard of skeeball ...before...." Her faced blushed as she higged her bear tighter.

"Huh...? Help keep us alive?" Hikaru asked, tilting her head to the side with a somewhat confused look on her face. "I'm not really sure what you mean by that..."
Deciding to change the subject for now, she gestured over to the skeeball lanes. "You wanna play with us? It's really easy, all you do is roll these balls down the lane and try to get it to go into those holes. The point values are marked, and when you get a high score, you get tickets that you can use to get prizes and stuff!"
