"Why hello...Thank you, I got a little turrned arround here..." xp Dawn tried not to jump out of her skin as the four drew her attention back from day dreaming about living wrecking balls. sweatdrop

"I just need a few photo's of the site and then we can head back, sorry to pull you guys away for something so trivial... this city is a little rougher than I had anticipated, any chance you know where there is a nice park arround the camp?" Dawn didn't say why she needed a park, but if they had seen her playing arround with the vines or even the pile of dust and rubble molding itself at her comand they7 might have a fairly good guess.

((Well, I WAS going to use the cheering crowd to attract officers, but it seems the situation resolved itself.))

There had to be one somewhere, right? They looked at each other, then at her for a moment. "We're not sure- we'll look for one, though and we'll let you know if anything turns up. Now please, head over to the site with us. As you so perfectly stated, this city is rougher than it seems..."

With that, they escorted Dawn away.

Dawn got her pictures.. although it likely took a lot longer than the security guys would have liked.. there was a lot of little notes to be scribbled on a scrap of paper and she was mumbling about getting a proper level taken and needing to know exactly what was under the site.... "Hey, um I have heard a few rumors about RI... is it true that they are actually quite high on the military group type thing?"

Now where had that come from, idol speculation...or could it actually have something to do with her work?

They just looked at each other for a moment, expressions unreadable. She had asked a simple question that cut right to the heart o things. One would call it being intuitive, or perhaps just plain lucky.

However, the security guards weren't exactly in light to say such a thing. One had to have a quite high security clearance in order to speak of such things, so the rumor would remain a rumor. "I'm sorry, ma'am- we can't say anything about that. Why do you ask?"

"Because I can tell you right now that this area only needs a few minor adjustments for me to be able to design more than just underground parking levels..." How she knew that was her own secret to keep.

Dawn didn't push them though, she just resolved to make two sets of plans, both from the same base design. If Raven Industries was as high on security as rumors indicated then her second proposal would never become public knowledge, but it would actually be the design that they built!

Dawn stuck her pencil in her hair and headed back towards the camp her mind too busy on altering her plans to even tell the security guards that she was all done now.

The men blinked for a moment as she walked away, puzzled. She had probably planned this out long before, but they hadn't thought it to be this detailed. They didn't ask how she knew all this- it was her show. She had been asked to do the job, and not how to do it. They shrugged, going back to their rounds.

It seemed that the houses still need work after all. There was still a complete restructuring of the city to consider, and due to that the construction teams had to move their latest project further inside the city. As far as defensive purposes went, it wasn't exactly the best choice for a position.

That said, what would originally take weeks would once again take months. It was a good idea, but as far as overall safety was concerned, the project needed to be somewhere else. The digging stopped, the holes were filled in again, and the team packed their things. Informing the company that made the buildings that they would be relocating their site, they made their way out of the outskirts, leaving the rest of the teams to figure out what to do with those houses that needed to be taken care of.

Which of course, would not be a difficult task. At least, not too difficult. They made a call to the RI office. The project within the Outer City would take weeks after all- because while the company that did the buildings in the Inner City did their thing, RI would be bringing in a few building blocks of their own.

"All right, listen up! We need all these houses cleared out, now! Let's move it, people!"

Excuse me gentlemen, but who exactly is in charge of your operation here?

A tall man dressed in a black uniform, sheathed katana at his side, walked towards what appeared to be the main hub of activity around the building site. He hadn't checked up on things for quite some time, and decided that now would be a decent time to gather some information for the higher ranking officials. This was Lament/Raven Industries Public Relations Officer Colonel Nathaniel Briggs.

Hmm... hold on for a moment. They had a file on this guy, right? Ah, yes- this was the representative for the Lamentian monarchy. "Colonel, glad you could make it. Unfortunately, the Chief isn't at this site right now- he's further in the city, working on another project. And from what I hear, we might have a new head of the division soon, so this might be your last chance to speak to him, sir."
PostPosted: Mon Feb 12, 2007 2:02 pm

Oh? Well, I hope the new chief is as dedicated as this one. I'll head into the city to see if I can find him. Thank you for your help.

The Colonel bowed and turned away from the men. Luckily, it wouldn't take him long to reach the Inner City. New chief huh? This was news the Monarch would need to hear. With any luck the chief wouldn't be too difficult to find, and as he arrived at the Inner City site he began to search for him, asking workers until he was directed in his general location...

Mark was a man of stocky build- strong and solid from his years of working on construction sites. He wasn't that hard to spot out from others, and the newfound noise from the new site, which had been set up in no more than an hour, made it quite easy to pick out. Mark was busy observing the situation when the colonel made it to the scene.

Excuse me, Sir. Am I correct in believing that I'm speaking with the Chief of this construction Project?

The Colonel was dignified and hard in his appearance, just like a military officer would be expected to dress. His uniform was crisp and undirtied by muck, flawless in the folds and positioning. He seemed out of place in a place swarming with dust and grime. However, the look on his face was a softer, kind look not seen on many military personnel in Lament. And his voice was polite, but not stern as he spoke.

Dawn left her plans for the moment, happy with the progress, but needing a little bit of a break, and she still needed to find a park with some large vegetation to work with. Brown hair with full length blonde streaks was pulled up in a bun, a pair of pencils holding it all in place. She looked a little frumpy, but still neat and clean in black jeans, a dark grey sweater and dark work boots.

Sky blue eyes looked sadly at her Lego houses as they attempted to relocate them to the new site, upset at the setback but understanding that it was necessary.
