Leon looked at the older man. "As his teacher it's my duty to see that he succeeds, and offer any aide that I can." He gave a nod, then smirked lightly. "That's all there is to it. It's my responsibility to make sure he wins and comes back safe, otherwise I'll be a failure as a teacher." His smirk turned into a little grin. "You'll never get my honest feelings on the hothead, you should know that by now."

Leon shook his head. "Not in the slightest. The only thing I admit to, is not ever expressing in so many words what my feelings are towards Hotaru. Least not to you. It just doesn't need to be spoken, after all, it's an unspoken bond between not only swordsmen, but student and teacher as well. Hotaru is, sadly, fully aware of how I feel, as I am fully aware of his feelings regarding me."

Leon sighed, but gave a nod before opening Merlin's door. "Uh, Merlin, did you happen to leave some company when you left to get me? Because it sounds like someone is in your bathroom."

Merlin looked at Leon curiously and shook his head before entering the house. He knocked on the bathroom door.
"Yes?"
"Anna? What are doing here? Where are Hotaru and Zero?" For a moment there was slience before the door answered.
"I don't know. Why? Has something happened?" Merlin just looked at Leon worried. Although for what was unclear.

Leon heaved a big sigh. "Well, if you don't know where they are, you wouldn't happen to know why Ansem's castle grew a little darker for a bit, would you?" He looked at Merlin, and whispered. "Well, there's no point in rushing off half cocked or anything." He gave a shrug with that comment.

"What do you mean it got darker? H..." She caught herself, mentally yelling at herself for almost revealing she knew what was going on. "I have no idea," she said after a moment.
"Can you at least locate Hotaru for us?" Merlin said with a sigh.
"I'm sure he's fine, Merlin." Merlin shook his head.
"What is wrong with her?" he whispered to himself.

Leon gave another sigh as he leaned against the wall. "Anna, if you know something, it's better to just tell us, remember when you kept something from us, and it became this huge deal? You really want that type of event again?

Anna opened the door and strolled out in a towel. She quickly tried to make her way to her room. "It's nothing," she tried to reassure "Now I need to get changed."

Leon shook his head, and glanced at Merlin. "You know her better than me. I'm just concerned about Hotaru, he was in that area, could be dead for all we know, or worse." He gave a shrug like it didn't mean much to him, and signaled Merlin to play along.

Anna slowed drastically. Merlin looked at Leon confused before a dawn of awakening graced his face. "Oh! Oh, yes. Poor boy. I mean who knows if he even truly fully recovered from when he was tossed into that wall. All that could have happened to him..." Anna stopped completely and clenched her hand into a fist, digging her finger nails into palm. She sighed and moved her finger as if beckoning someone. A glass ball rolled to her and jumped into the palm of her hand. It glowed for a second and then she turned and tossed it at Leon.
"An accident befell the one I had for Hotaru so it's useless now. I made this one for Zero shortly after I returned from the castle. He said something about finding her before we parted, so if they are still together, that will show you where they are. I made it so even you guys can see the image, so just look deep into it."

Leon smirked. "Thanks, you sure you don't want to see if he's still breathing?" He then shook his head, and looked at Merlin, before tossing him the orb. "Let me know what's up with the kid, I'm still getting a sandwich." He sighed as he walked into the kitchen and started making a double decker sandwich.

Merlin managed to catch it before glaring at Anna. "What? I had to find her and wasn't really up to searching the city."
"Is this how you've always found her?"
"Of course not, I know how you hate when I use my magic." Merlin shook his head and sighed before tossing it at her.
"You use it. It's yours anyways."
"Fine." Anna looked hard into the orb, trying to see Hotaru.
