"Because he didn't think that there were any men here from the cult (that's what I call it). And you're brother had to have been in that group because he had the snake tattoo on his neck that only that group had. Have you ever thought that maybe, just maybe, you could be wrong for once?"

Talon still didn't look like he believed her. "That tattoo is one I gave him, he loves snakes." was his simple answer. "It's been there since we were kids. (newborns basically in the vampire world)"
Kale smiled. "Don't worry about anything, I will take care of you until you are old enough to take care of yourself, even then I will do what I can for you."

"So maybe that's how he met them in the first place, I don't know! But what I am certain about is that he was one of them! John told me he even smelled like one of them. And even you know John has people around here. None of them saw this 'brother' or yours until he attacked me which means he knew John had men looking for his kind around here and he did all he could to avoid them! If your brother wasn't one of them, then please, i beg of you, expain why he hid from John's men when they were obvioulsy doing him no harm." she was mad now that Talon would not believe her..

Talon couldn't believe what he was hearing. He'd just warned her of accusing his brother and she was completely ignoring him. 'Too bad that her incompidance is manipulated by false facts. John is using her for something, that clan was destoryed years ago, my brother was in there as a spy for me. There may have been survivors but none would dare face my rath again.' He thought to himself bitterly.
"Like I said, Katie. He doesn't like people or big groups. He's more of a person to like being with 2 or three people at a time. If he smells large amount of people, especially vampires, he hides to get to where he wants to go. You don't need to know the details, human. I've lived long enough to know what I know and it's too much for someone like you to understand my bond with my own family. I may not have my human family, but since I was a newborn I've gained a different family that you cannot possibly understand no matter how I explain it to you. I'm old enough to know what I'm talking about, it's your desision to remain foolish and easily trust a well known traitor to the vampires." He smirked then, his anger just barely gone as he gained information that he would most likely need to find out what John was up to.

Taya walked up to the mansion as she dried her tears. 'I hope I'm not trespassing...' she thought as she opened the door just enough to step inside and look around. When she heard arguing she shied away and started to ran out of the door but it had closed and she couldn't open it. She saw the two people who were arguing on that stairwell and took a deep breath. "E-Excuse me but how do I get out of here? I don't mean to interrupt or trespass but I was just looking around. I didn't know anyone lived here. I'm truly sorry, but if you could please show me a way out I won't bother you anymore." she said softly as she pressed her back against the door. Something about the boy seemed odd to her and it wasn't the good kind of odd. She knew he was dangerous though you couldn't tell as much from looking at him. Whatever it was about him terrified her to the core.

"Excuse me a moment..." Kaida said as she left the room. She went downstairs to get something until she heard voices, past Talon and Katie. She turned and saw the girl (Taya) and swallowed uncertainly. Her eyes were black as she watched her. You could almost see her fidget from fighting herself, before biting her. She tried to back away, but couldn't. 'Think of the life she must have...' She thought. She was almost frozen, but wasn't biting the girl, which was surprising for a newborn.

Taya jumped almost ten feet off of the ground when the other girl appearred out of no where. She caught her breath in her throat and tried to calm her heart. which felt like it was tryig to pound it's way out of her chest.

Kaida watched the girl and closed her eyes. She could hear her heart pound as it spread blood throughout her whole body, especially her throat. She breathed deeply and tried to calm down, but kept her mind clear and away from Kale. "What are you doing here?" She asked, her voice strained and sick sounding.

Just then a vampire burst through the door and into where Talon and Kaite were. Katie screamed as it grabbed her foot. John jumped in right after it and snapped its neck, "Sorry about that," he said, "The dirty little b*****d got away from me. You alright Katie?" Katie glared at Talon, "You believe me now?"

Kale wasn't far behind Kaida, and when he caught the scent of another human he tried to stop Kaida from going, but he was too slow compared to a newborns speed. 'Kaida, don't bite her.' he told her in thought. 'Don't taste her blood.' It was as if his mind entered hers and kept her teeth from opening wide enough to get even a small bite.
Talon turned at the sound of the doors opening, calm now on his face. He walked slowly to Kaida. "Kaida, my dear. Let the poor girl go now, or I'm afraid Kale will be the one to get punished if something were to happen to her. One scratch and I can assure you it will be rather unpleasant for both of you." he gestured to the house walls, that seemed to shudder slightly. He placed a hand on Kaida's shoulder and pulled back on her lightly, to get her to move away.

"I-I got lost..." Taya whispered. She screamed bloody hell when the vampire rushed into the room and tried to grab Katie. "What...What..." was all she could get before feeling something crawl up her leg. She looked down to see a garden spider crawling up her leg and her eyes grew wide. "KKKKKKYYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!" she screamed at the top of her lungs before fainting.

Talon sighed. "I really didn't want to do this, but..." he knocked out Taya that would last at least 15 minutes. He picked her up and went to a different room. However, this room was different from all the rest. "Hello again, my friend." he spoke to a large blue ghost like orb that appeared when he entered. "I have a request to make. Please watch over this human girl, keep her from harm. You are the light for this place after all, old house that seems brand new."
The house seemed to creek and groan after this request was made. Then a couch appeared in the room that looked very comfortable.
Talon set Taya on the couch and smiled. "Thank you." With that he left.

Kaite looked at John, "Was it them?"
"Yes," He replied. "And I'm sorry to tell you this but Alex-"
"ALEX IS DEAD?!?!?!?!?!"
"No! Will you listen to me for once? Now have a seat on the couch so i can expain. They thought they had your blood usable for them so they tested it on Alex. Not wanting to blow his cover, he accepted-"
"What?!?!? What happend to Alex?!?!?! Is he hurt or-"
"LISTEN!!!" John yelled. Katie went silent at once, "I'm not sure how to put this but Alex is...not humanlike any more."
"Well of course, he's a vampire-"
"That's not what I mean. He...is more like an animal now....like a preditor. He doesn't know you or me...he works for them now and this time it's not under cover."
Kaite sat back as the tears started to run down her face, "no..." was all she whispered.
