Soren knelt down and gave her said hug, then opened his mouth as though he were about to say something, gesturing as though he were about to conjure something. But an odd moment of hesitation seemed to strike Soren. He closed his mouth, suspended that way, then said, "How about tea?"

Roy looked over at Soren curiously, but said nothing. He didn't see a need to act. But the hug was...odd, for someone like Soren to do.

Roy caught Melethia looking at her tome and recalled the incident yesterday. Try not to burn anything with such a dangerous spell next time, he wanted to say. But with Synra nearby, such a move would be foolish.

Nils backed away a bit from Melethia and Soren; he didn't need to be involved anymore. He kept his eye on Synra and Roy, however.

"That's good," said Soren as he whipped up a cup of herbal tea. He made sure it was fresh before handing it to Melethia. Soren noticed one of his superiors nearby, thus he turned his attention on her for half a moment before realizing that she too seemed change. A confounded look crossed his face.
First The Mistress, then Lady Vaherianslyeri, now her...

"Thank you Soren." Melethia grabbed the cup with her free hand and she took a sip. The tea calmed her down. She noticed Soren was looking at something. "Is something up Soren?"

Roy closed his eyes and sighed, then paused. He suddenly realized something he had overlooked. He looked over at Synra, then thought about Mistress Madriana and Lady Vaherianslyeri's unusual behavior earlier. He then hit his forehead with the palm of his hand. "I can't believe I didn't see it until now." he said with a sigh. He looked over at Soren. He wanted to say something to him, but with Synra around...it would be unwise if he said such a thing about her in her presence.
