Kurenai struggled to get up but couldn't. She looked up at him pleadingly, not understanding why a fellow Vampire would stop her from feeding. Was the people in this town his?

"Kurenai, this isn't you. You want to go out and drink people dry." Mark said as he picked her up and laid her on the bed. "Wait another two hours and we'll go feed." He said and watched her.

Kurenai looked at him, then closed her eyes. She groaned again after a few minutes, "...M-Mark..." She said weakly.

"Not even animals?" Kurenai asked. She painfully sat up, flexing her hands like it was the first time she ever used them.
