Not likely, actually. Not impossible. There was actually a small (really, really small) chance that it would create a black hole which could actually destroy the world. If I remember correctly, the project was delayed until, like, March because there was a hydrogen leak.

Some Might Say... The crazy big bang emulator thing? I guess it didn't. Really, what more of an answer do you need? It was all based on crazy speculation in the first place. Although I must say it'd be a wicked way to die... Just sitting there, doing nothing of importance, when you see a black hole on the horizon. I think we're fairly certain it would compress us into a singularity, lol. Besides, even if it did send you somewhere, it'd be like thousands of years in the future.
